Commentaires : I have been with them from the beginning in the late 90's. I have been pleased with the progress they have made with things getting better and easier to use.

Avantages :

They have always strived to make things better. Always improving the system and making things easier to use and better.

Inconvénients :

I would have to say, sometimes the wait time to get someone to return your call. It would be great if the shipping cost could be cheaper for the paper supplies you buy.

Overly Complicated

Commentaires : Customer support group is excellent. Why the development group can not, or have chosen not to correct the 2 issues that I just addressed, is beyond me.

Avantages :

It is fully integrated, customer management software. What it does well, it does very well. Routing work and allowing us segment out customers for marketing purposes.

Inconvénients :

Vastly over complicated in how it handles customer deposits. Software does not always apply payments to the invoice number that we type in. It will automatically apply payment to the oldest open invoice, which can cause absolute chaos in our accounting and when we communicate with a customer about an open balance and find out that there last several payments have been applied to the wrong invoice. It sews seeds of doubt in customers' minds as to whether we know what we are doing or not, or if we are somehow trying to take advantage of the. It does little to calm their concerns to tell them that our software program assigned their payment to the wrong invoice. It seems pretty straight forward fix to us. If we type in an invoice number for the payment to be assigned to, assign it there, every time.

Thank you for the review, Larry! If you're using SA4, your comment on deposits and payments is true. However, SA5 is vastly improved in that area. You can apply payments to specific invoices and services, eliminating any doubt in your customers' minds as to the validity of your accounting and setting your own mind at ease, that everything is as it should be. Commentaires : Overall experience is good with RG. Wish there were just a few more options as stated before. (Installment report options and also time clock use.)

Avantages :

I have used RG since LA3 days. I loved using it. Easy to use. Now I am using SA5. It is different but just as easy to use.

Inconvénients :

SA4 short cuts are not in SA5. Lack of installment report options to choose from. Minimal override options. Too many windows to open for a simple task to be completed. Minimal time clock options. Was told we cannot use the timeclock without additional services purchased. Timeclock should be available for use to filter man hours in the jobs and use for payroll at least, even as a separate charge would be fine.

Don't upgrade to SA5.

Commentaires : Accounting is ridiculous. No one ever answers the phone. It's always a call back. No one seems to have an answer to any account information. They all tell you they will get back to you. Very bad experience. Payments take forever to post. Once a check is mailed I don't see it clear for 10-16 days. SMH.

Avantages :

The Technical support is very good. I don't have anything else good to say about SA5. When [sensitive content hidden] sold this company everything went down hill.

Inconvénients :

SA 5 is terrible. It's extremely slow compared to SA 4. 4 was hosted on our computer. Now every time you want to look up a customer it takes 30 seconds to a minute. You can't open multiple windows the same way as 4. Overall we are very disappointed. I wish I had never changed.

Growing or business with Real Green!

Commentaires : It's been good, we have really experimented with it on a couple of dummy accounts and found what works. We are experimenting with inventory items and realized we might be able to make thigs even more streamlined. Might work better for some things than flag codes. All good stuff!

Avantages :

The way we can customize what we are doing. With all the options if one thing is not working for us, we can try several other ways to make it work better. Like with routing and with coding an account.

Inconvénients :

It gets really slow in the evenings and afternoons and we are having to wait a long time between screens and some of the options to fix things like Targets for products are hidden. If they come up on a search that would be awesome!
