The portal looks and functions great. The customer service from Wattics has been top notch.
Avantages :
The design is very intuitive and easy to learn how to use. The portal offers a wide variety of functionality without sacrificing the overall look and feel. The team at Wattics has been very responsive and helpful.
Inconvénients :
The automated reporting feature is geared toward metered points that provide regular demand data. I would like to see more customization or some reporting options geared toward those utilizing the portal for simple cost/usage tracking only.

Hi Mark, Thanks for having a meeting with us recently, from which together we have come to the conclusion that the issue is not with the Wattics platform itself, but with the irregular data sent from a device you use. This requires you to liaise with the hardware vendor in order to resolve the issue with timestamps as agreed. We are eager to launch your project as soon as possible, so as discussed, if the issue with the device cannot be solved with the hardware manufacturer, we could go for a bespoke development of our software to cover your unique needs. We are always in touch and to reach a timely resolution, you and your teammates need to let us know where there are gaps in your understanding of the platform. Yours and our teams already have done a significant amount of work in order to connect your different sensors and meters in your test lab, so we believe you will launch your onsite project very soon! EnergyCAP and Understanding your data
Commentaires : I am happy using EnergyCAP. I have learned so much about our energy because of the data mining I can do with EnergyCAP. I like being able to provide our engineers with the data they need to support energy improvement projects, and all we have to do is a quick query.
Avantages :
EnergyCAP helps our team with invoice tracking and verifying if the invoices are "in line" with historical use so that we can assess the invoice appropriateness or look for reasons we might be seeing a spike. We use the queries to track energy consumption and to help with budget management. I appreciate the weather normalization features so we can easily compare year upon year of energy use, despite weather variances. The reports are customizable. We can add and track custom meters not typically associated with utilities, such as permitting fees etc.
Inconvénients :
The program takes a moment to learn to navigate: Learning the differences between the modules and how they function together. Learning how to correctly write queries will unlock the potential, but those can be tricky, as in any database program. Overall, I really cant imagine trying to manage as much data as we do without EnergyCAP.
My EnergyCAP Review
Commentaires : I am a strong user and I train others to use the EnergyCAP. My users are running reports and are finding errors. The data in EnergyCAP is used to make financial decisions. Do your organization a favor and start using EnergyCAP. I have over 30 years in the energy business and I have used various software, and EnergyCAP is the best!
Avantages :
There are many exciting features in EnergyCAP. Some of the features are the dashboards, reports, customer support and the Help Center. The dashboards are easy to create and the data tells the story. I like reports and EnergyCAP has over 100 reports. My favorite reports are the usage, costs and charts. The customer support is outstanding and the response is fast. The Help Center has videos and the information is detailed.
Inconvénients :
I really have no cons except, I wish the terminology reflected what the utilities use. However, this is not a show stopper.
