Commentaires : Sending claims daily, watching for rejections, etc.
Avantages :
The work groups make it easy to work the claims, we still have some glitches to be worked out but so far so good!
Inconvénients :
I haven’t found much that I don’t like. I just wish some of the “catches” were easier to fix.
Pretty Good Product
Commentaires : Overall I do like Waystar and would be hesitant to leave. It is very intuitive and we have very little issues with claims.
Avantages :
Waystar is very easy to use. Its features are robust and we have very limited issues with Waystar. We have to give very little Waystar training to our new employees because it is so easy to use.
Inconvénients :
In general I feel things run fairly smoothly with Waystar but when they *don't* I feel it is hard to get help or clarification on issues. We are often advised to contact the payer or it takes a while to hear back on more complicated tickets. Downtime of various applications has increased recently as well.
Horrible Customer Service
Avantages :
The product is easy to use as long as nothing goes wrong.
Inconvénients :
They seem to have system issues every other day and they are in no rush to help you. They really don't seem to care that there are timely filing restraints on hospices to submit claims.

Avantages :
The function I like the most how easy and user friendly it is to submit a claim, verify the information is correct and it has been accepted, reviewed and submitted to the payer.
Inconvénients :
With my experience using Waystar, I really can not think of any aspect that I do not like or that needs to be better.
Great Product
Commentaires : Waystar has helped to bundle processes into one solution. Ins verification, Claims, and patient statements are all in one system.
Avantages :
I like the ease of use. Offers several different functions for the providers office that allows us to streamline processes.
Inconvénients :
Every time I log in to the system, I have to agree to terms of use. There should be an option to agree to this in the beginning and not have to do every time.
Clearinghouse used for Hospice & HomeHealth billing for 6 years
Commentaires : I don't have as much daily use of the software as I used to; but I would recommend it.
Avantages :
I've used Waystar just about 6 years (since it was Zirmed). Navigation of the software is pretty cut & dry. I was billing only hospice Medicare when I was introduced to this product, but started home health billing as well as private insurance payers as well. I prefer the original format of the rejected claims page, but understand the need for more search parameters. Maybe that makes me "old school". When our office was setting up new information in the software, support was always available and very helpful. I'm not sure how often this happens, but I even had the direct cell phone line of the gentleman helping get us up and running. He never complained once about our calls.
Inconvénients :
The update to the rejected claims dashboard a couple of years ago. I've gotten used to it but still think the original functionality was better. I used the "show me the original format" button until the day they required all users to update.
Medical Payments Made Easy!
Avantages :
Really easy to apply and receive payments from patients.
Inconvénients :
I have not encountered any issues with this software. It does everything we need it to for our day to day functions.
ZirMed claims
Commentaires : I find that ZirMed is on top of billing regulations. Claims are easy to correct. Adding insurance is a bit tricky as it removes information which has to be re-entered.
Great, easy way to see front-end rejections and access transmitted claims.
Avantages :
Separates each client by system and shows individually and total rejected claims. Can see claims of all statuses at any point in time.
Inconvénients :
So many e-mails about every little thing and multiple each day. Really easy to cancel claims even if the problem was not fixed.

Avantages :
If you are a large practice, this program can save you time and money by simplifying the claims processing for you.
Inconvénients :
If you are not a large practice, this may not be the best choice. I have been on paper forms for quite a while and it is difficult to change.
Waystar has bank for your dollars
Commentaires : I have been working with Waystar for over 20 years and would recommend the ease of use.
Avantages :
We are able to have claim sweeps hourly and 277 transactions feed back into our system to ensure full claims process. Any errors are routed appropriately. We also use the eligibility and claim status functions. Having the ability to check eligibility without going to a payer portal is a game changer.
Inconvénients :
Support seems to have declined since the beginning of Covid. We have reached out multiple times with questions on our invoices with no response. Our account representative insists this is not their place to assist with invoices.
Great Communication Makes My Day Better
Commentaires : Support is excellent. Issues are resolved quickly. Communication is always key and Waystar is available by phone, email, etc.
Avantages :
Waystar is integrated with my electronic records program. It was very straightforward to get started. This makes my daily life better. We are all humans and being able to review what I did or didn't do is a blessing.
Inconvénients :
We are a small company and do not need a lot if the features meant for physicians.
Great product for a great value
Commentaires : We started with Zirmed and transitioned to Waystar. It was flawless. It's easy to use. The value is excellent. They have a huge list of insurances OR you can have them send a paper claim. We were working with an older (outdated, frankly) practice management software and Waystar worked with us so we could still upload claims. Editing rejected claims is very easy. There are also Premium products you can buy if you would like to streamline your RCM such as code look up and insurance verification.
Avantages :
It is very user friendly. Their customer service has always been very responsive.
Inconvénients :
Medicare Secondary billing is clumsy. (Not a Con but) there are several features we don't need/use. They clutter up the dashboard.
Used mainly for confirming insurances are valid/active
Commentaires : Day to day insurance validity checks and billing that has a set price per bill instead per page. National address database check before sending bills to the wrong clinic
Avantages :
Able to run my clinic day to day knowing that patients have valid insurance and possible deductible amount. Allows us to give best patient care without unknowing giving the patient a big bill that will be from care rendered and deductible amount. Zirmed increases my clinic's ability to inform patient of deductible amounts prior so that patient understands amount they may be billed and the reason for the bill. From this, it gives patients the autonomy in their care. Zirmed also has a billing service that allows for import from billing software with set prices per bill (not page) and it checks a national database with address to make sure the bill is going to the correct patient.
Inconvénients :
The may con I have had with this is that our clinic representative left the company and we were not informed and the phone number wasn't reassigned or disconnected, which left me waiting for a return call that never came. After calling customer service, I was then reassigned

Commentaires : efficient claims processing, denials management, great reports with comparrisons to others in the same industry.
Avantages :
Their customer service lives up to the 3 ring rule. Customer service are very pleasant and helpful on the phone. If your question is beyond that department they listen to all of your questions or concerns and directly transfer you to the right person/department to help with your needs. I am been very happy with their live training. The videos for additional tools and training are very specific you are able to accomplish what you need to learn. I have found the sales team to be very accommodating when renewing products. I have found their fees for the credit card /Payleap to be the best prices out there.
Inconvénients :
Not able to interface payments directly in to our EMR software. I know they have plans to eventually make this happen. I am hoping it will be soon.
Claims
Avantages :
Waystar helps tremendously to send claims clean, quick and efficiently. Also helps to correct any errors that may show, to resend them correctly.
Inconvénients :
Took some getting used to, to view and submit claims resubmissions. But after a few tries, it's fairly easy to use.
Waystar for Electronic Claims Submission and Guarantor/Pt. Statements
Commentaires : Overall its a solid product that helps us cut down on the time from bill submission to getting paid by the 3rd party payer because of cleaner claims.
Avantages :
Ease of use. Ease to deploy across 250+ behavioral health facilities in multiple U.S. States.
Inconvénients :
Retrieval of E.O.B.'s - Explanation of Benefits. The view could be enhanced to make them easier to decipher/read.
Billing review

The ease of pulling remittance files and seeing all claim rejections. Very easy to fix. Cases are easily set up and support personnel are very helpful

Commentaires : Expense! Although I do experience the value of your product and services as positive. I really think Symphony should be the standard application for users. There is so much more to help a biller get their work done and information available at their finder tips!
Avantages :
I especially like Perform Reporting for the fee schedules and payments. The graphs and drill down gives us many options to choose from. Claims appeal process is swift and the pre-written appeal letters really help a lot. It is a time saver to correct the claims in Navicure. I only have to change my claim status in ECW. Now that we are on Symphony I have more choices to look over and use. We are able to look at the ERA denials as well which has been very helpful. More information and drill downs.

Great EDI software
Avantages :
Great for submitting claims electronically. Overall pretty easy to submit claims and pull up claim remits
Inconvénients :
the remits only go back two years. If you are trying to pull up and older claim remit you will get an error message
Billing and Denied Claims
Commentaires : Cleaner claims, Easier denial access and appeal access.
Avantages :
The billing feature and claims follow up has been a great tool for our team. Easy access to correct claims rejections and be able to resubmit same day. The claims denials has the EOB with ease to access. Also like the appeal feature. You can send right from the system.
Inconvénients :
I was not part of the process of installation of this software. The one issue we have is the secondary claims, we bill line item and it places the information in both line item and claim. You have to go in to the claim manually and correct.
Claims/Remits/Tracking
Commentaires : My overall experience is generally very good

Very easy to use for submitting claims and receiving remits.
Inconvénients :
Signed up for the denial tracking but I am not finding it as useful as I thought I would.
6 Years of Use-Happy Customer
Commentaires : We were a fairly small practice when we started with Navicure (8 physicians) and grew to almost 30 providers. Navicure worked great even as we grew.
Avantages :
The messaging system you can use for issues/questions is usually responded to pretty quickly, reps are nice via telephone also. Easy system, user friendly. Didn't require much training. it gives you the option to correct claims directly in Navicure, or cancel and resend from your billing system. Printable reports when needed, easy sorting.
Inconvénients :
There aren't really any I recall, but it would have been very nice to have two way communication (meaning the changes made in Navicure would be sent back to the billing system). For this reason we chose to cancel the claims and correct them in the billing system to avoid the possibility of forgetting to update in the billing system after it was done in Navicure.
