Commentaires : It was so helpful scheduling clients in different rooms, different times, with different therapists. A+ for the scheduling software.

Avantages :

I loved Appointment Plus because it allowed me to have multiple therapists schedules and multiple rooms. I never had duplicate sessions. It was easy to use and easy for our clients to schedule clients. This has been the best scheduling software I have used./

Inconvénients :

I had to stop using the software because we needed to maintain medical records in the same location. I changed software and really miss my experience with Appointment Plus.

Makes reservations easy for us and for our clients!

Commentaires : Our business doesn't need anything fancy, so our basic account helps streamline reservations for us. Tried and true for many years!

Avantages :

Takes care of most of our needs with a simple interface. Our business has used it with great success for years!

Inconvénients :

Some of the lesser-used features can be a little difficult to access. We use a more basic version of the software so there aren't any YouTube tutorials available. However, an email to the company usually puts us on the right track.

Outdated, redundant, counter-intuitive

Commentaires : On the surface, DaySmart had everything we needed but the more features we attempted to use, the more issues we found. Many of the functions were setup in a redundant way that made them confusing for our team to use, I can only imagine how many complaints we would have if we let customers interface with it directly. Also, while the support was usually helpful, we had one issue with a major feature that we intended to use quite frequently; overall I think support emailed me about 7 times to say they were still having meetings to figure out the issue, then eventually they just seemed to give up.

Avantages :

For the most part, the support team was fairly responsive.

Inconvénients :

The system feels old and outdated, and many of the features we attempted to use were far from intuitive.

Commentaires : Overall, we have been using DaySmart for several years and have had very few issues with the website. The support service has always been very responsive, if needed. All in all, it just works for us.

Avantages :

The flexibility to customize your site to best fit your individual customer experience. Also, the uptime for the website has been really good.

Inconvénients :

The only con I can think of is the recent price increases.

Commentaires : I have been using Day Smart Appointments for our students test scheduling with the test center. The experience is pretty good.

Great Customer Service with Programming Needs to Address

Avantages :

Ease of use and the customer service has kept me with the company! Prompt, helpful, and kind customer service reps will always equal loyalty.

Inconvénients :

Limited ability to create daily unique schedules based upon services offered. There are times my patients aren’t able to use the program at all because I have to block out a day I can’t be IN the office, but I can offer phone appointments. the program doesn’t allow this schedule exception. Big hinderence to my ability to run my practice efficiently and to my patients ability to access services.

Stay away from this product! Poor customer service when things go wrong. Too pricy.

Commentaires : For may years, I've put up with poor customer service, glitches from time to time, the whole system being out for a few days at a time. Before, the price was right to put up with all of these issues. Now, the price is so great I refuse to keep going. I'm currently looking for another service. I don't feel like I was taken care of with my latest issues. DS lost/deleted hundreds of past completed sessions throwing off our packages. It took weeks for someone to finally look into the issue and get it fixed. This cost us hundreds of dollars because we had no idea when it was time for some clients to pay. It also cost hundreds of dollars extra in employee pay. Because of the lost sessions, I had no true idea how much to pay my employees because we depend on DS to track this for us. Because I didn't want to short change any employee, I had to increase pay to make sure they were paid at least what they were owed for their work. DS completely failed us. I asked for a refund for the month you lost our data but never got a response except to say "you were looking into it." I really should receive around 4 months free because that's about what this has cost me in terms of dollars spent/lost income from DS. [sensitive content hidden] was the only one that stayed in touch once she was made aware of the issue. Until then, I never heard a word on if the issue was even being worked on.

Avantages :

I like the recurring scheduling that we do as well as tracking client appointments/packages.

Inconvénients :

Customer service is very poor. I have been with Appointment Plus/Day Smart for over 15 years and I have never liked not being able to actually talk to a human being. You are the weakest in your customer service. Not being able to actually speak with someone about an issue wastes time. Now, your pricing is way more than what I can justify (especially with all the glitches that occur).

Commentaires : It’s nice to have an appointment scheduling solution that sends confirmation, reminders and texts to our clients. That is a timesaver.

Avantages :

I have used this system for approximately 10 years when it was Appointments Plus. It has some great features for scheduling and client management.

Inconvénients :

The monthly calendar (on the left side of the screen) is not fully accessible without scrolling down so you can’t see the whole month or the options to look at the waitlist. I also don’t use some of the service options like online scheduling, payment processing, aligning with my Quickbooks or email marketing because I don’t want to have one system holding all my info. We have experienced times when DaySmart is down and I can’t afford not accessing my client files.

Easy to Use

Commentaires : I would say good. It was bumpy in the beginning, but that was due to the integration with our EHR. I do not put that blame on DaySmart. The product itself is a great product and met our needs completely.

Avantages :

I like that the software is an easy to use product. The calendars can be shared amongst all within our clinic, which is a plus. Repeat appointments can be scheduled, which saves time on our end. It has reporting features that we use and like.

Inconvénients :

Honestly, the one thing that we did not love about the system is the fact that it integrated with our EHR but the information feeding into the system could not feed back. It was an issue at first, but in reality, the product still met our needs and is easy to use.

Avantages :

It is able to be connected to from anywhere. Usually support staff are quick to follow up on issues (but not always). Updates are generally instantaneous.

Inconvénients :

There are too many ways to do each individual thing - meaning I could have something turned on in three different spots, but because it's turned off on a 4th, it won't work. This makes it difficult to realize issues are occurring or where the origin of the issue is.I wish I had more control over what other people can do, such as clients being able to go in and change their own appointments, that's not ideal, but I don't have the power to restrict their access further. Or preventing location users from creating profiles while still letting them input their own appointments.

Commentaires : Love it. The customer service has been exceptional and amazing!!

Avantages :

The ability for clients to schedule their own appointments in place of contacting one of our staff and going back and forth via email has been a definite game changer for us since we implemented DaySmart back in May of this year.

Inconvénients :

Every once and a while we have a feature turn off unbeknownst to us and we get a message from a user that something isn't working correctly so we can go in and turn that feature back on.

Wonderful and very useful appointment system

Commentaires : It is a very helpful system. It has made scheduling appointments so much easier for our advisors. It is also great that the whole team can see what other members are doing. Printing daily reports is also very beneficial.

Gets the job done most of the time

Commentaires : AppointmentPlus has helped prevent us from accidentally overbooking students (there were times where we had a waiting period of 45 minutes for a 1 hour session) and definitively figure out where we had more openings so we could optimize our space and time. With enough time and effort (and the help of their support team), we have integrated the scheduling system into our daily routines. We’ve spent a lot of time in this system and there’s still a lot of things they can improve, but at the end of the day, Appointmentplus helps us with scheduling.

Avantages :

Customer support has been really responsive. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] helped us quite a bit in figuring out optimal setups specific to our needs. When we ran into issues, they were able to help dive into details with us in order to help find the root cause and escalate issues when necessary. If there was something they couldn’t fix immediately, they explained what was needed in order to fix the issue and kept us up to date on what they could tell us from the development team. [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], who started helping us out later, provides a sociable experience and helps make tech calls feel much more casual.

Inconvénients :

It took a lot of trial and error to figure out which settings to turn off/on to optimize for our center and we ran into many issues while creating/modifying hundreds of weekly recurring appointments. The recent updates to recurring appointments, however, have made the task easier, but still takes much time and effort to navigate through while avoiding issues.

Avantages :

The idea behind the software was great. When it works it's awesome. Too bad it's getting less and less often.

Inconvénients :

Servers are frequently overloaded and software stalls out. Bugs frequently corrupt the database. For example...we opened the software and every single clients dogs were changed to [SENSITIVE CONTENT] . We had to change EVERY SINGLE entry one at a time. That took several days. A week later it did the same thing. During peak use time, we have customers standing at the counter waiting to be checked out because the software is VERY slow to respond. Customer service leaves much to be desired. We have to call weekly for issues and are on hold for up to an hour sometimes. We are currently looking for a repkacement.

Commentaires : This has been the scheduling software since I started here, but we are strongly considering a different company.

Avantages :

I like that you can look at a main page to see if there is a site-wide problem and the amount of time they expect it to be resolved in, versus making a phone call for your first step.

Inconvénients :

The software just doesn't work sometimes. Trying to change provider schedules, canceling or booking appointments... it either goes through the whole process and nothing changes, or it gives a reason (that should not be a reason at all) why the software won't allow for the request. For example, when trying to open a provider's schedule last week so she can work an extra day, after pressing 'update' to the new schedule, it will tell me an entirely different day must be changed for some other purpose, when I'm not dealing with that day at all. Hard to explain without showing it. But there are a lot of bugs that need to be worked out.

With regard to the item you noted, that indeed was a known issue and has subsequently been resolved. I see that you run a massage clinic. We have hundreds of massage clinics using AppointmentPlus. We have a lot of features that suit massage therapists quite well, from room sharing to unlimited customer notes to payment processing. Not the worst

Avantages :

There's a nice option to color code appointments, marking them as seen or no show etc.

Inconvénients :

Maybe it was the way my company set it up, but there are five different screens I have to click through just to make an appointment for a person. Also you have to hit refresh all the time to see if anyone new scheduled or dropped out.

Frustrating

Commentaires : Frustrating. Lots of emails that sound helpful but do not actually give resolution. You've upped our costs multiple times without upping our service or the quality of service.

Avantages :

HIPPA compatible scheduling. Cloud based so we can check out schedules from phones or computers.

Inconvénients :

There are SO MANY glitches that make this difficult to use. Currently we are mostly frustrated with the text reminder system. It is sending out texts to deleted appointments or old clients. It is charging us for two texts even when our template is under the maximum. We have asked for repairs/fixes and we are promised them but they do not resolve the problem. If it were easier to transition to another software I would DEFINITELY DO IT. I am beyond frustrated!

Appointment Plus Delivers!

Commentaires : The website is very powerful, so there is a bit of a learning curve, but that's a small price for the complete functionality of this powerful tool. We've used it for many different applications, and it never fails to impress and deliver. The best part is the customer service. Always warmly professional.

Avantages :

The MANY different functions it has. Every scenario seems to have been thought of.

Inconvénients :

The only thing that would be nice is if it weren't so complicated and had so many questions to toggle. However, that's what makes it so powerful, so I can't be too concerned. Plus, if I run into a situation I can't figure out, I just email and receive a response or call back with the answer I need.

Commentaires : [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was a pure professional. She was extremely helpful and very professional. She listened to our questions and concerns and worked with us to solve any problems or issues we came across. She never made me feel like I was bothering her. She gave us her full attention. She also asked questions so she could make our product more useful to us. If she didn't recommend these things, I would have never know. She was a pleasure to work with and is a huge asset to your organization.

Avantages :

I loved the ease of Appointment Plus. It was easy to set up scheduling and with the help of [SENSITIVE CONTENT], who by the way was AWESOME!, we were able to customize what we needed for a big project in our department.

Inconvénients :

There wasn't much I disliked, although I would love to have seen some shortcuts or symbols for lunch times or break times... making ease of scheduling these easier.

Commentaires : Although I really enjoy the color-coding and ease of google calendar, AppointmentPlus' front-facing feature makes my job so much easier because clients can book and cancel their own appointments by creating a username and login. The amount of messages in our business inbox has decreased significantly since we started using AP, which has been a huge time saver.

Avantages :

The override feature was very useful for being able to set a front-facing max, but gave the back-end users the option to schedule additional persons when necessary.

Inconvénients :

Takes a long time to sync with google calendar if you are creating recurring sessions for several months. Does not sync with google calendar if you are creating a past event.

Could Not Be Happier

Avantages :

The AppointmentPlus system has been a welcomed addition to our busy office. We use it for job candidate screening call scheduling. It has saved me countless hours of having to go back and forth in trying to find a time to schedule. The system is well-designed and easy to use. I also like the automated email reminders I get. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the system.

Inconvénients :

I can’t really think of any cons. Customer service is outstanding and the system exceeds our expectations
