The system is easy to learn and use, can be adapted to our requirements

Commentaires : Quick to learn and easy to use, covers every invoicing report or receipt we needed.
It is also mobile so you can work from home if required.

Avantages :

Easy to use and straight forward download facility saves time on processing bookings, Reports are adaptable, so you can see your figures and stats. Invoicing is easy to produce, and additional notes can be added during the process, you also have non printing notes. The interface facility is great and you can even transfer bookings to other files or replicate bookings/tickets it save time. The diary system also is a very useful tool, allowing me to diary a date I would like a file to come up to action any client requirements nearer the time of travel. An example of this is adding requests to bookings or reserving new reservations.

Inconvénients :

When the system goes down or interface box does not work it causes real problems and stops us working on receipts or invoices. The ability to export invoices is excellent as they can be long and setting to change this would be a bonus. I have had to export a 17page invoice down to 2 pages as they system could not adapt an EasyJet to basic information.

The system is a little bit complex but I enjoy working on it more and more as I get to know it.

Commentaires : All our reservations are in one place. We can see each other's bookings / folders easily. Our documentation is customisable and all looks professional to the customer. Payments can be taken in here. Our finance team has easy access. It's all really great!

Avantages :

I like that everything is in one place and it's all very clear. There's no need for more than one travel system if you have Dolphin.

Inconvénients :

Our travel consultants find it a bit frustrating at times, but I personally don't really have any dislikes. I know that we are upgrading or making changes to our benefit and to suit our needs all the time, so it keeps getting easier. The things that are difficult to work with make sense in the bigger picture. For instance, we have to remember to select a member before we start adding things to our shopping cart. If we fail to do so, the whole itinerary will be lost. We've had an explanation about this and it makes sense the way that it is.

When we download group booking, it always automatically comes up duplicated whole booking again -

Commentaires : Save time to download e-tkt manually if system is working

Avantages :

I am okay with this system. I hope you still have more improvement in future. The good way is download with only 1 pax or all same fare. If the fare & title different, it mostly download incorrectly

Inconvénients :

Download etkt is good but more than 2 people, it always downloads wrongly with swap paxs. When we download more than 2 with different fare such as adult, child & infant which the system will download wrongly

Never had a system before that can handle virtually all offers and their complicated rules

Commentaires : Benefits include the external links, which means we don't have to load every Product in every area anymore which means we have more time to spend on our high revenue properties. It also works okay with flights, especially Galileo .
It isn't what I dislike about Dolphin, more that because it can handle very complicated offers and loading, the person doing it has to be clued up and very careful. The errors or problems that can occur are usually due to inattention. It can be quite time consuming to make sure everything is working how you want it too, but that is more a reflection of how complicated hotels are making their offers now.

Avantages :

What I like most in when a Product Manager comes over with a weird offer and says 'I know that this probably can't be loaded' and I say....but it can! The ability to be able to control offer functionality and combinability is really what makes this special, and with recent developments base rate loading has reduced the time and effort by more than 50%.

The best component is the reporting. However the system can be non intuitive & slows down input

Avantages :

reports & report creation. ability to drill down at various fields. Inbox functionality. The various information fields within a folder. Easy to read

Inconvénients :

Some areas are not easy to complete so efficiently... You are not able to move forward or back with tab at all times. Point and click fields makes process slow. Due to the vast amount of information collated the support desk cannot be very supportive because they are not able to know all the intricacy. Support often have to call back after investigating and this can take a number of days which isn't helpful when you need immediate response. Updates to the system often have knock on effects to information already entered. No consideration is given for this and we are stuck with incorrect reports or information until Dolphin have been informed.

Commentaires : Structure and statistics are overall the biggest benefits I´d say.

Avantages :

The report module, since I´m able to get statistics for basically anything. Not the easiest report system I´ve tried, but the outcome you are able to get overrules the troubles you have to go through to get there.

Inconvénients :

Look & feel (design). The design could need a fresh and new touch. Very little has changed in the +5 yrs we´ve been using the system. Having documents in PDF is a bit old fashioned, why not have a web string so you can simply click a link to view your docs? Generally too many tabs and to many buttons (click).

Keeps track effortlessly of all our complex bookings in a well presented and informative fashion.

Commentaires : It handles all aspects of bookings enabling a massive reduction in paperwork.

Avantages :

Bsp reconciliation is extremely easy to undertake and can be done to the last penny. Customer invoices and confirmations avoid forgetting to detail or charge for items. I also like the fact that our clients are able to view their bookings and invoicing online.

Inconvénients :

the occasional loss of newly created files. The fact that the back office is only integrated by way of data export rather than directly linked.

Not the software for a Tour Operation. (better suited for a travel agency).

Commentaires : Customer service is abysmal. We sometimes have to leave messages for them to call us back as they are too busy to anwser our operational calls. There are emails promising us they'd get back to us the next day but then issues left un-attended for weeks and certain issues for over months. The training on first day was out of a packet and was not tailored to our business. There was a lot of time spent on training that was not required for our business and certain important points completely ignored at the initial training session.

Avantages :

There was a lot of promise at the start and we were excited about Dophin's plans to connect with Xero which we use as our accounting software. The reports were impressive.

Inconvénients :

It is tedious and long-winded. A simple booking takes ages to complete and every single things has to be inputted in order to complete a booking. as a tour operator this was not the most ideal thing as it was taking way too long to complete a booking. Our work-load doubled because we then had to do the same thing on Xero to get accounts up to speed.

Avantages :

Financial features and clarity, tracking history in folder, visibility for us, working together with different applications we use

Inconvénients :

Crashes a lot and makes folders disappear, No tracking history in ticket changes, look of the system

Easy, Functional, Customer Service are helpful

Commentaires : All filed in the one place, access to account information with ease, the customer service are extremely helpful

Avantages :

Everything is in the one place so you only need the one software. Its very user friendly and is laid out easily

Inconvénients :

It can be a bit annoying when 2 people can't log in under the one username. Also it can be tempermental as we live in a rural area the internet goes down quite a lot which in turn logs you out and you must then start from the beginning

Good to work with but need to focus on TMC needs

Commentaires : You allowed me to be honest hopefully this will be published to strength en Dolphin position with TMC's

Avantages :

Robust and can be adapted at cost but sometimes this can be costly and is not an efficient use of funds

Inconvénients :

Takes too long to get stuff done and there is lacking in working with TMC's collectively to resolves common issue which is a great loss to Dolphin

great and easy to use product

Avantages :

The system is easy to use, it has good Management and reservation modules make it user friendly. api add ons are great too making it a seamless process

Inconvénients :

The only downside is the cruise module is not available for live search. Also the fact that we have to create cancellations and refunds manually is a little time consuming

Avantages :

Works on the back end and the front end. The coding is solid It rarely crashes The updates can be kept to a minimum

Inconvénients :

The annual service fee - but at least it's not unreasonale. Also the print-outs of the itinerary aand booking confirmations need an over-haul. PDF isnt good enough anymore. But they know this.

Dolphin is OK. It works for what we do, but there are obvious gaps in it's features

Avantages :

Dolphin is quite an open system which suits our company because we are not a mainstream bulk seller, but rather a smaller niche travel company.

Inconvénients :

Getting management information out of Dolphin is difficult. The only time I tried to work at a customization of Dolphin it was a very slow process.

The system is easy to use and not difficult to train new members of staff. Following the tabs makes it flow

Inconvénients :

Developments either take too long or can't be done which can be frustrating and restrictive when suggesting improvements

Avantages :

Reporting of standard booking data is efficient. Data extract is acceptable but more from core contract data would be preferred.

Inconvénients :

Data loading is just not efficient. Needs a re-think to make the system a best in class. More flexibility on exchange rates and rules needed.

Inconvénients :

really poor that Dolphin does not offer App for mobile functionality in todays business environment. This is something Dolphin need to address ASAP

Avantages :

I like the ease of use as its very user friendly and easy to navigate. visually easy to the eye and response time is very good.

Inconvénients :

random forced shut downs can be very annoying, I think the programme should be able to stay open without internet connectivity.

Avantages :

The most thing I like about Dolphin software is that it is easy to use and we can easily manage customer invoice and tour conformation and customer can also easily view their tour conformation and invoice easily.

Inconvénients :

Some time you lose newly uploaded files it happened only once with us and the customer service is good but it have to improve

A very basic system, not great for a cruise agency to use.

Pros: Easy to use.

Inconvénients :

It doesn't do most of the things we need it to do and it is useless from a CRM perspective. We have no real relationship with Dolphin , they just want our money each month and have no interest in keeping us as clients.
