Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Feedly News Reader!
Great RSS Reader
Avantages :
I use Feedly since Google's RSS Reader disappeared a long time ago. I love it! I use it both on my phone and laptop daily to keep up with the news and articles related to my work. I also like the "save" feature which lets you save a post to read it later. It is also very easy to add new content to follow.
Inconvénients :
Sometimes it takes a couple of hours to provide new content, but it might be because of the free version I use. I can't think of anything else.
A better way to read the internet after Google Reader
Commentaires : Awesome and i never had any problem using it, the free plan are awesome the paid plan are more awesome, the only downside is the search feature are only available on premium plan.
Avantages :
- Feedly are a very good alternative RSS reader after Google Reader discontinue - fast & many layout design for reading the content (compact, magazine etc) - the free plan offer an OK function - Black themes - Image thumbnail are pre-chaced, so i can see images from a website that blocked in my country. - recommendation feature on similar content are super-super awesome
Inconvénients :
- no search function for free user - sometimes i overwhelmed with how much rss website i subscribe. - ads are in the middle of the rss feed, the same design with content, very very sneaky way to get a high click rate, but i dont blame them as it is a free version.
Great feature set but needs competition
Commentaires : Feedly is in a unique position to capitalize on its unique feature set, but unless more serious competitors enter this space, I expect prices to remain high.
Avantages :
Feedly is the only product I could find that offers the features that most "lightweight" RSS readers lack: the ability to process feeds using machine learning and the ability to have team-wide sets of RSS feeds.
Inconvénients :
Feedly has the concept of an "organization" and a "team," but an organization can only have a single team. It would be much more effective if we could have multiple teams under the same organization. Feedly is expensive; it could use some competition to help drive prices down.
My favorite news feed
Commentaires : Feedly has integrated itself into my morning wake-up routine. I have tried to find alternative services to see what is out there, but I find myself never temp to change.
Avantages :
Feedly has made it easy for me to find and manage my news feeds. I have used several different methods over the years but this is the one service that I've never felt the need to look for another. It's easy to use, customizable, and generally just works.
Inconvénients :
It has periodically had issues with suddenly showing old entries for a bunch of feeds or other annoying issues. But has overall been quite stable. I have seen some services that claim to display articles based on what you read. While these services have not been nearly as useful as Feedly, this is a feature that I think could be useful.
