Greatly simplifies time tracking

Commentaires : My overall experience has been excellent. Customer service is particularly impressive: highly responsive and extremely helpful.

Avantages :

timeBro makes time tracking much simpler. Rather than needing to remember to manually shift between activities, it magically tracks precisely what you have been doing when. That means no risk of forgetting activity.

Inconvénients :

The analytics screen has somewhat less attractive design than the previous software I used. But this is a minor and insignificant gripe.It can be time consuming to shift activity from memory aid/calendar to time entry. But ultimately I believe it's better to spend time on this than on trying to remember what I did when. It's important to get into the habit of completing time entries at the end of each day.

The only time tracker I consistently use

Commentaires : I am constantly flipping back and forth between tasks for different clients. No way can I remember to always stop and start my timer. I LOOOOVE the detailed activity shown on the calendar and how easy it is to adjust my daily report to bill the right clients with the detail they want. Can send it straight to Harvest

Inconvénients :

Unfortunately, TimeBro doesn't read my mind, so when I work on client projects while away from the computer, I still have to go back in to enter the time I spent offline.

No communication before contract renewal

Avantages :

For timetracking you work activitities it is a good tool. You get a clear overview and timesheets so you will save time for tracking your hours.

Inconvénients :

Their auto renewal for the contract. I do not need to use the tool anymore, however you do not get notified that the contract will be renewed. I just received an email with the invoice that my two year contract is automatically renewed. I reached out to the support centre however you receive an email that I should have checked the customer portal or when signing the contract. They can communicate with you when they can earn money, but they cannot communicate like a professional company to provide their customers a heads up. In two years a lot can change and like a normal company and human-being it should be possible to communicate in advance with regards to a new contract.

Automatic Time Tracking Saved me

Avantages :

I was having issues tracking my time. Working for a consulting company has made this a critical part of my job. No other tool worked as well with automatic tracking as TimeBro. I pay for it myself and it is well worth the investment. I would love to see the rest of the company move in this direction. As long as there is an affordable single user option, I will always use this product.

Inconvénients :

I have had some weird issues with my computer restarting or closing a Zoom or Teams meeting. I don't know why and it may not be related to Timebro at all. I am curious if the automatic tracking is what is causing the crash.

Comprehensive time tracking with minimal overhead

Commentaires : I do a lot of consulting work for my clients which requires that I read through many documents and write reports. I needed a way to track how I spend in research and in writing and I needed to be able to split it out by client. What I love about timeBro is that it automatically tracks what I'm doing and shows the titles of the docs I'm reading or writing so I can easily categorise which client to bill.

Avantages :

The automatic time-tracking is the best feature from my perspective. I have having to interrupt my flow in order to log my time. I love the way timeBro shows me the application I was working in as well as the title of the document.

Inconvénients :

There are many additional features built into timeBro that I will never use.
