Review by CJ Hansen Co., Inc.

5,0 il y a 2 semaines Nouveau

Commentaires : We have worked with Corrigo, Intuit and Results and compared to those three BuildOps has been excellent.

Avantages :

The thing we like most about BuildOps is that they listen and respond to our requests for modifications to the system. They, [sensitive content hidden], has been very Customer Friendly and while they have a "system" or SOP that must be followed, they are eager to learn about our gear grinder troubles and they work with us to fix them.

Inconvénients :

The initial on boarding was a challenge and the training was difficult. What we called a project they call a job. This lead to many misunderstandings and it can all be chucked up to a difference in our two languages. With their help we worked through all of it.

One Year Down

5,0 il y a 3 mois

Commentaires : Overall, we've been very happy with Build Ops. It helped us locate some holes in our processes and has made for better communication between our internal staff and also the customers.

Avantages :

Having used Build Ops going on my second year now, I will say that there are a lot of features I really like. It's very handy for the technicians to be able to get their own PO numbers most of all. It is also nice to have a history of all the work that has been done broken down by equipment. I also have enjoyed getting to use the AI feature to put more information on the invoices we send out. It saves me a ton of time in writing up the report.

Inconvénients :

I don't have any real issues with Build Ops that wouldn't exist with any similar service. Of course, it is frustrating when the server is down or when a common command suddenly goes buggy, but that would happen with any software we were using in this capacity.

Was promised the world by the salesman and let down

2,0 il y a 7 mois

Commentaires : It seems that the software needs a few more years of development to be branded as a premium software, there are many bugs and the software's function and work flow is not congruent throughout.

Avantages :

Having the schedule connect directly to jobs works well, seeing visit information for the techs in the field.

Inconvénients :

There is a lot of information however it is not always easy to find or view in a useful manner. It seems like there are many ways to customize the software however few of the customizations are ways that we need it to be.

We are so sorry to hear about your onboarding experience. It sounds like there is too much information without enough guidance. Thank you for your feedback. We hear you loud and clear, and our customer success team should be reaching out to you directly if they haven't already.

Great Choice for our Business

4,0 il y a 3 mois

Commentaires : Overall, our experience has been positive. There are certainly things we learned along the way that we wish we did differently during implementation but overall we are happy with our purchase and feel we made the right decision for our business moving forward. The customer support team is incredible and very responsive when we have issues or questions. They are constantly making updates and improvements to their product based on the requests of their users which is what you want to see in a software that is the heart of your business. We see BuildOps as a partnership and are excited for our future with them.

Avantages :

We liked that BuildOps still has a week view on their dispatch board, not just a daily view. This is helpful when projecting out work and building a tech's schedule. The technician's mobile app clearly had a lot of time and research put into it and it shows...it is intuitive to use and clean. The one-click invoicing has been an incredible time saver for the billing team and was an immediate improvement we saw. Overall, we also were drawn to BuildOps' customer focused model and the attitudes of their team members. Every member of the BuildOps team was knowledgable about their product and ready and willing to answer any questions and take as many meetings as needed to make sure we were making the right decision and throughout the implementation process. The built in quoting module has made getting quotes out to customers and tracking outstanding quotes so much simpler.

Inconvénients :

The dispatch board while good still has a bit to go to be great, if you choose to release calls individually there is only one way to do that when there are so many other actions that we are given 2-3 ways to accomplish them. We also wish we could arrange the names on the dispatch board ourselves instead of being locked into alphabetically. Editing an already active service agreement is also kinda clunky and requires some repetitive data entry and could be improved.

Implementing BuildOps

5,0 il y a 2 mois Nouveau

Commentaires : To date, we are satisfied with implementing BuildOps. It is taking some time for the entire company to get used to it. Especially the mobile users. BuildOps has provided fantastic customer service and has been very patient with us.

Avantages :

BuildOps allows us to track Service Jobs and Construction Projects in one platform. The dispatch board allows for all technicians' schedule in one place. Live job costing and tracking is great!

Inconvénients :

There is no way to schedule in subcontractors without using a "non-billable" event or creating a false project visit. Syncing errors can be troublesome.
