Secure and responsible, cost-effective when compared to TeamViewer

Avantages :

For a remote desktop product, GoToMyPC is a secure, responsive, and feature-rich product, allowing me to work as productively as if I were sitting at my multiple monitor setup at the remote office. GoToMyPC has all the features I need to work remotely and is less expensive that TeamViewer, which continues to raise their prices every year and squeeze out the small business.

Inconvénients :

Price for one PC has gone up, but it is still affordable for now.

We've happily depended on it for over a decade

Commentaires : GoToMtPC functionality is essential to the company and I would have switched long ago if I had had any issues. But there are none. Loging in is easy, setting up additional users is easy, connections always work.

Avantages :

My company has an operational center in Hawaii, as well as a home office on a different Hawaiian island and one in California. We also have a few remote workers. GoToMyPC is essential for the right people to be able to access the same central computer.

Inconvénients :

We cross train all staff, but adding everyone as a seat to GoToMyPC would make it expensive when some people might only need to fill in for a team member for a little while.

Past its prime

Commentaires : It enabled our users to access their computers remotely, but it is a very no frills experience and feels archaic compared to the competition while being sold for a similar price. It is clear that this is simply legacy software that GoTo offers to those that haven't thought to test the market.

Avantages :

At the end of the day GoToMyPC will allow you to access a PC remotely, so it does accomplish what it sets out to do.

Inconvénients :

I have tested and used various remote desktop software and GoToMyPC is probably the most basic and feature poor of them all. The entire thing feels like it hasn't been in active development in at least 10 years. Lacks the ability to open remote monitors in their own windows is a huge missing feature that any modern remote desktop software should be embarrassed to lack and was the number 1 complaint from my users.

Great for logging into work computers from anywhere

Commentaires : We use it to remote into the computers at work and print orders. It's essential for doing what used to be really complicated.

Avantages :

Gotomypc has never broken itself with new features that ruin the functionality. The website is a a bit complicated for what I want to do (simply connect to my device) but I've bookmarked the page where I connect.

Inconvénients :

I can barely use it; only for 2 PC's since the price jumps from $792 to $1188/yr just to be able to connect to a third computer.

Great for Mexico to US accessiblity

Commentaires : I have complete use of my computer from my office to my home office. I have been using GTMPC for many years, with no complaints. I use this program from my office in Mexico to the US, with no problems. I highly recommend this company.

Avantages :

What I like most about GTMPC, is the easy accessiblity from my home PC or my cell phone.

Inconvénients :

The only thing I dont like, is that GTMPC is not compatible to all computers. I cannot use it on my IPAD mini, for instance. But I have no issues on my PC or my cell phone.
