"Finally an extension I can actually use- and love."

Commentaires: Overall I absolutely love this extension and honestly don't know if I could survive a day of work without it now that I have it. That is right people- I don't think I could live without Typedesk. I've said it. I love you Typedesk!

Avantages: I love that I no longer have to type the same replies over and over and over again. Not to mention- my customers love it too! There are times when an email will come in via Zendesk and all I have to do is click the magical Typedesk button and BOOM! My reply is beautifully typed and once I hit send my customer has gotten a reply to their question in less than 2 minutes time. Talk about a prompt response!!

Inconvénients: The feature that needs to be improved is the "insert variable" at least in regards to Zendesk as it auto inputs my name and not the customers.

"Great lightweight option when you want just a tool to insert text!"

Commentaires: Productivity goes up with quick access to my most recently typed bits, and their support has been stellar.

Avantages: The interface is lovely, and intuitive, which is appreciated. It's easy to hit the ground running and things just work. It's lightweight (not a system resources hog) and doesn't conflict with my other apps.

Inconvénients: Nothing that I don't like. There are some small bits and bobs that can be improved, but I see movement from them every day so I fully expect to see further improvement.

"Good single user prefab app"

Commentaires: As a former Textexpander user (but who wants to pay that much per user seat), I was looking for a replacement for my Customer Success team. I wanted it to be collaborative between team members (multiple users with admin privileges to add/edit prefabs), be able to hold a plethora of prefabs, contain gifs and images as well as links. I look at quite a few options compared to Typedesk and Typedesk seemed to have an easy trial and interface to try it out. I would say Typedesk does not meet my criteria. Based on what I need for the team, a non-negotiable is adding images (not merely links to the images) in the prefab itself and having users collaborate. Perhaps the trial limited collaboration, but, for these two reasons, I decided not to move forward with the product for our team. However, if I was a single user, this would partly fit my needs, but again, I need to have images and gifs inside of the prefab (not just links to them).

Avantages: -Easy to store my prefabs
-trial was easy to start
-user interface seemed simple
-customers support was proactive in their reach out, I just ran out of time in my workday to provide sufficient feedback to them as they were reaching out

Inconvénients: -formatting disappeared when I pasted prefab into the app
-it's supposed to be collaborative between team members, but when I shared it with a team member, they had read only access.
-can't insert gifs or images into prefabs; this would be incredibly helpful for customer support. it actually makes the product impossible for me to say yes to without this feature alone.

"A good option for email template sharing within teams"

Commentaires: We need to have a consistent voice across the team, plus ensure we aren't constantly reinventing the wheel by rewriting the same emails.
Typedesk looks to be a great solution for our needs.

Avantages: Simple and intuitive to set up email templates and share them with the rest of the team.
Really like the ability to add custom placeholders into templates - prevents emails going out with {insert value here} errors.
Search function is good so it's easy to find the right template.

Inconvénients: I would like the ability to add sub-folders for easier organisation of templates.

"Where have you been all my life?"

Commentaires: Fast, Capable, and SUCH a god-send time saving tool...

Avantages: Anyone running a Customer Experience, Customer Service, Customer Support desk/team, etc needs to be using TypeDesk. While it has not been around a long time, it sure is already quite powerful and more features are added regularly. Keyboard shortcuts for all the important use of the product makes it lightning fast and efficient!!! Fast and friendly support and a real willingness to listen and build a truly useful product!

Inconvénients: So far, very few bugs, and very few negative things to say. The one feature that is not quite there yet is being worked on and will be updated in the next two weeks so even less to consider as Cons very soon...
