Efficiency in Mail Merging Online

Commentaires : MailMeteor is a super convenient and intuitive add-on that stand out within the crowded Google Sheets add-on market, with their privacy handling done just as well, since they didn't even need to get into my inbox to implement their features.

Avantages :

What I liked the most about MailMeteor was the best-of-class convenience it brought to my work stream; delivering streamlined bulk emails that have been at the heart of almost every email marketing project my company has undertaken for two years now.

Inconvénients :

The tracking reports they offer for the bulk emails we send out using MailMeteor could use a bit more detail; otherwise, our user experience has been great so far.

Avantages :

Awesome tool for sending bulk-customized emails. I use it with Google Sheets to keep all our parents informed through emails. I is also possible to have different emails signatures so everyone in the organization can use it!

Inconvénients :

I wish it was able to send out emails automatically without having to start all over every time. Like it would start from where it left off when sending emails on auto pilot.

Commentaires : Does exactly what it claims to do, and does it clearly and intuitively. We use it for all our important emails to clients - unlike emails from mail services like Mailchimp, it doesn't end up in a marketing or junk folder (unless your email does anyway, uin which case it's not Mailmeteor's fault!). We all use it on our team.

Commentaires : Terrible support, we bought the premier business plan and you cannot reach a soul to get any help. If you ask for a refund they give your money back right away-- I would say this is their business model, no resource to help customers, so just refund if customer cannot get it to work as advertised. All in all- a total waste of time which is worth more than the 49 euros to us.

Avantages :

The interface makes sense and makes you feel like you finally found a easy tool. Its not true sadly

Inconvénients :

Mail merge doesnt work in the dashboard campaigns. We got it to work using the google sheets direct chrome extension but for 49 euros a month it is a terrible product. You can use other tools in sheets mail merge for 13 euros.

Perhaps the best Gmail Extension ever created

Commentaires : Mailmeteor delivers the best, most refined experience of any Gmail extension I have used to date, and that is saying a lot.

Avantages :

I can not understate the beauty and utility of the UI created for Mailmeteor. It is by far the most elegant solution for quickly sending out emails to a targeted list. The configuration options include HTML support for emails and one can easily filter the recipient list for targeting. I do use other email platforms that are easily recognizable for certain larger tasks, but this is the perfect platform when needing to send out 2,000 or less emails per day.

Inconvénients :

Mailmeteor can not send out to more than 2,000 recipients per day, but understand this is a limitation of gmail for Google Workspace accounts. Mailmeteor does understand this limitation and can automatically split up an email campaign that is over this limited. As mentioned by someone else, while the reporting can always be made more exhaustive, I understand that is not the target use case of this extension and it is meant to keep things focused on key metrics only. My one wishlist item at this time is the ability to search templates by keyword as I do have many templates now and it would be convenient to have a search function to find the proper email template.

Mailmeteor is great for schools!

Commentaires : It is a time saver!! I can schedule out emails weeks in advanced! It lets me know who has opened emails and how many times! If you know how to use Google Sheets and navigate the nuances of inputting specific labels and info in those boxes, you are good to go!

Avantages :

It is easy to use with Google Sheets and Google Docs, very pleased! I love that you can add images onto templates, too!

Inconvénients :

It is case or label sensitive with what information you plug in. I just wish that Google Sheets could individualize sending images that could be differentiated into the template spaces.

I love being able to send an email off of my Google Sheets email list for my faculty! I also love that I can track who has opened my emails! One of my most invaluable tools as a school principal.

Inconvénients :

There really isn't anything I like "least". If I had to name one thing it would be to send an email to a single person that I might have left off the original list.

SO easy to use for Google users. Just put your info into a Google sheet and launch your bulk message. It appears to the recipient like a personal message.

Not the fault of Mailmeteor, but Google has a limit on the number of messages that can be sent daily.

Very happy with Mailmeteor!

Commentaires : Very happy with this service. It has revolutionized my email marketing and communications and I am able to send personalized emails when I don't want to send out emails through Mailchimp or similar. I also can specify when people receive the emails, which is great.

Avantages :

It works extremely well with Google Sheets and is very user friendly. They are also very communicative and add features often.

Inconvénients :

The template editor could be more built out. Right now it's pretty basic so I usually create my template in Google Docs and copy it into the editor.

No cons, I like it all around. I guess if I could find something wrong with it, it might be the email template naming system. Emails are named by their subject lines but I'd like to title the template differently than the subject line. Not a big deal though. Hardly matters

Mailmeteor has become a must-have tool in our team. It makes your recipients feel unique when compared to an email blast from a Mailchimp style platform. Contrary to other Gmail mail merge add-ons, Mailmeteor does not require permissions to your email data to run. Plus, you the free sending quota is quite generous.

Inconvénients :

There are lots of other emailing tools that have more features than Mailmeteor, but for day to day use it's a perfect tool.

Commentaires : I have had an excellent experience with Mailmeteor overall. I have been using the product before they created the follow-up feature.

Avantages :

I love how easy it is to use and how you can send emails through Google Sheets or their website dashboard. I also love the additional features they added and the other tools on their website (spam checker, subject line tester, etc.)

Inconvénients :

I wish you can fully change the times a follow-up email is sent. For example, If I set up an email blast to go out at 10:30 am on Tuesday, I can have a follow-up going out 3 days later but at the same exact time. If I set up the follow up by hours, there's a limit on how many hours I can schedule it. So I couldn't schedule the follow-up to go out 75 hours later.

Commentaires : Honestly, the experience has been very smooth so far. The tool is simple to set up, there are a ton of amazing tutorial videos provided by the MailMeteor team available on youtube, and their customer support is amazing as they send out a lot of best practices to get the most out of the tool.

Avantages :

I love how easy it is to use. It's all in the Google sheet. You can add as many custom fields as you like. Don't want to add a line to your campaign? Just hide it - It's as simple as that. Their email sequencing is also very very good as it automates a lot of the time consuming tasks for you. Plus, I love the fact that it's sent directly from my gmail, which allows me to get much higher open rates than other tools I've used before.

Inconvénients :

Nothing, absolutely. I love everything about this tool!

A fantastic entry level product for email marketing & outreach

Avantages :

Ease of use to set up and the pricing, it's very reasonable. It's a very what you see is what you get tool, the interface is intuitive. We no longer use the tool as we have similar functionality built within our CRM system, but couldn't fault it whilst we did. The process to cancel our subscription was pain-free which means we'll definitely be returning in the future if we need it.

Inconvénients :

Can't really fault it, for the price it does everything it says it does on the tin.
