You can set the system to alert you when stock drops below a designated threshold. Where it is really amazing is keeping track of stock of an item that is used in multiple orders/SKUs. One order placed on a platform can set up to pull inventory for all components used to create the item for that order. This allows to better keep track of all inventory, such as packing material. I didn't realize how useful this option would be. > > **Inconvénients**: I can't create categories to organize my inventory, and more easily search for specific items to link them as an item to a listing or to restock them. If I want to make an edit that effects many inventory items, I have to make those changes to each item rather than being able to make that change to multiple items at one time. > > I finally took the time to sync the SKUs for my Etsy shop with my independent website. The whole process will go much quicker if your SKUs already match (took longer for me since they weren't). This was the only thing holding me up to finally using Trunk to sync them. Having those two online shops synced has been such a weight lifted off of my shoulders. Where it is really amazing is keeping track of stock of an item that is used in multiple orders/SKUs. I am still slowly getting it more and more functional for myself, and very happy that I took the time to set it all up. I look forward to seeing additional organization capabilities in the future.
