Easy to implement!

Avantages :

The product team that we worked with to implement the tool and help educate us on the product was amazing to work with.

Inconvénients :

I didn’t love the push to have everything setup in production and then pushed to prod. We were able to level set with test environment first.

Commentaires : The Finario team are extremely professional, attentive and supportive. We've been able to onboard users very quickly thanks to the intuitive system interface and overall had great success. Most importantly, system shortcoming are continuously addressed by the Finario team who seek to constantly enhance the user experience.

Avantages :

It's easy to teach to new users. Basic user functions like project creation, spend loading and business project reporting is efficient. The in-built approval matrix and account categories are also very flexible and a great time saver.

Inconvénients :

Detailed financial analysis is limited. The ROI calculations are very manual and not able to be reconciled to a manual replication. Depreciation features are limited and rigid. Forecasting is very manual and prior month data can't be locked making it prone to manual error after the period has closed.

Commentaires : Good capex management tool with potential to lead the pack. They continue to make improvements based on customer feedback and internal analysis.

Avantages :

Good tool for capturing project details , approval routing, investment planning, and setting yearly Capex budgets.

Inconvénients :

Although reporting is available, being able to build fully customizable reports with any project data point would be a nice addition.

Commentaires : Our experience thus far has been positive but we still need to work with our users to ensure we are utilizing more of the functions and features that Finario offers.

Avantages :

The product accommodates complex org structures with varying approval processes and thresholds while providing a standardized template that helps evaluate and monitor projects in an efficient manner.

Inconvénients :

Some reporting features could be improved and some administration tools could be better - like reports showing unaccepted payments - which I understand is being worked on.

Commentaires : Very nice application for companies that need to manage capex cross countries.
It's user-friendly for both end user and administrator
The application has API capacity which brings potential for interfacing information to other applications , such as ERP

Avantages :

The easy configuration and maintenance of the tool. We have users over 50 countries to manage , the solution is very stable and flexibly in workflow .

Inconvénients :

Not all pages are responsive to screen (phone, tablet)

Regarding mobile responsiveness, given the nature of the typical use-cases for our product, the vast majority of our users interact with Finario via a desktop or laptop computer. Those elements that are typically engaged on a mobile device, such as requests & approvals, are responsive to various screens. That said, we do recognize that there may be other instances where mobile optimization may be beneficial, so we are listening carefully to our user community for recommendations to factor into our road map.

Capital Management with Finario is a Smooth Process

Commentaires : Finario has been important for our organization to move from paper and manual signatures to a workflow process. With multiple locations and the need for signatures from more than one location this was critical. We have, over time moved from using the system primarily for the workflow to handling our annual (and 5 year plan) budgeting process. We have also used past projects to estimate future projects that are similar. I have provided a recommendation to potential buyers of Finario because I believe it is such a good product.

Avantages :

I like the ability to have everything about a project in one place and electronically. For each project we can attach quotes from suppliers, financial justifications and similar files. This is in addition to the basic information for a project such as description, expected operating life, rationale for the project and spend projection (forecast) plus actuals. It's all in there so the details can be added to the project over time and retained as a historic record of the project for future use in predicting costs for other similar projects.

Inconvénients :

The only thing my organization has wanted to see improvement on is reporting and there is much currently in progress for better, real-time reporting.

Game Changer

Commentaires : As the title suggests, game changer. We went from an Excel/Google forms based system and workflow to Finario, it took us hardly any time to implement, and it works superbly.

Avantages :

Everything is in one place Document retention Transparency - investment owners can see exactly where their investment is in the process So easy to implement - we implemented and trained everyone within 8 weeks of making the decision to purchase Ease of use, and easy to deploy because it is cloud based Allowed us enough configuration to fit our business perfectly Excellent customer support Allows real time approval, cut down our approval time and process enormously

Inconvénients :

Nothing really - implementation was fast and it still works perfectly

Commentaires : As the system administrator, my role has primarily been assisting the business units in my company. From a functionality standpoint, I continue to receive positive feedback on the tool from my business partners and have found that my colleagues are pleased with all that Finario has to offer for their capex needs/requirements.

Avantages :

The Finario software is a very intuitive tool in addition to having an easily accessible, extensive user guide that I have found sufficient to answer 95% of the questions that have arisen for me throughout the 2 years I have been using the software. The Finario support team is also always quick to help with any other questions.

Inconvénients :

The only pain point I have noticed with Finario is the ease of exporting data and reports from the system. However, the Finario team is always quick to aid and assist with providing data and able to create ad hoc reports if and when necessary.

Regarding data exports, we are continually striving to make user data more accessible. This is reflected in the extensive out of the box reporting capabilities that are available along with custom reporting, which is continuously being enhanced as evidenced in some of our recent feature enhancements. Additionally, we are working with our integration partner on designing and releasing new reporting to supplement customer-specific requests, which we're excited to share with you in the near term.

Simplified project funding approvals and capital planning

Commentaires : Altium is very happy with Finario. Our finance team is able to get forecast data and manage our capital plan, project managers can easily request funding for projects and IT appreciates the ease of configuration.

Avantages :

The workflow is exposed so submitters can see who has the ball and is next in line. It's clear where on form users should look for information about the request and don't have to hunt in multiple Excel tabs for the data they need to approve.

Inconvénients :

The product has multiple versions and while some of the features that are important are implemented better or enhanced in upgraded versions. Forecasting for assets that are paid for at milestones is possible in the version we have but is much better in Finario One.

Commentaires : It's been really good and has served our needs well.

Avantages :

Product is very user-friendly and easy to navigate, even without in-depth training.

Inconvénients :

I would like more of an ability to customize and build reports - more of a drag and drop approach for specific fields depending on what type of information your after. I feel like most times we extract all the data and manipulate w/in Excel to get what we need.
