Tensoft Works Well For Our Usage in our Fabless Supply Chain
Commentaires : Overall, we have a positive in the supply chain team with Tensoft and are eager to see what advancements they bring in the future.
Avantages :
Tensoft is a valuable tool for our company from a supply chain perspective. We appreciate its fabless focus, which aligns well with our business needs. The API tool is efficient and exports well for other automation, and our planning team is now utilizing the planning portion of the tool effectively. We're now working on some supplier integrations, which has drastically reduced overhead on managing the data, and makes people want to use the system now vs. dread doing the updates. More accurate dataWe are also looking forward to seeing how they improve their user interface and add functionality and exports.
Inconvénients :
This input I'm writing is generic, but...clean data in, clean planning out. In our experience, with the proper setup, the tool functions well. We recently went through the process of cleaning up the data and system setups and we are pleased to find that the system is now fully operational for our planning needs. It's important to note that having a clear setup is crucial for the tool to work effectively.
TENSOFT FSM is an excellent software - INVECAS
Commentaires : INVECAS has been using Tensoft tools (SemiOps and DemandOps) for about 2+ years and running. The tool is cost-efficient and provides good visibility into order status, lot tracking and its supply-chain processes. Ease of use and ability to track the data details by customer lot, vendor lot, date codes and monitor movement of lots and help to track up-to-date information on Inventory levels.
Avantages :
One thing which is good and unique that makes Tensoft far better than any other ERP is that it matches the customer PO and Invoice data with a specific related lot number, this feature lack in many of the ERP providers in market today. This is essential to track and analyze failures and quality of shipments. Also, the month wise cost computing function helps all financial to view and close the transactions for a particular period and match with the vendor bills.
Inconvénients :
There are no cons in using this software. One suggestion to the development team is that to create a summarized dashboard that shows all the processes at one place (example like: How many production orders are running per product? How many orders at FAB, SORT, ASSEMBLY, TEST and PACK stages? A notification showing the scheduled orders per month and a notification alert to user if committed date has passed or running in delays. These are additional features that we wish to see in Tensoft.

Quick step up the maturity curve
Commentaires : Tensoft DemandOps and SemiOps allowed us take 2 large steps in our maturity curve; One was the move from spreadsheet to integrated planning, and the second to be able to export operational and financial data into PowerBi and turn that data into actionable information.
Avantages :
The software is reasonably intuitive and the API's export well to PowerBI
Inconvénients :
Capacity constraint optimization requires manually export and intervention
Tensoft Semi OP's
Commentaires : Overall experience has been excellent, I am relatively new to Tensoft but the SemiOps module is very easy to use and pick up. The support team at Tensoft have been great, very reactive to report updates and training. Cannot recommend enough.
Avantages :
Product is very easy to use, set up specifically for the fabless semiconductor industry. Particularly like the production release process which is very straightforward and key to maintaining inventory data integrity. The various inventory and summary reports are very useful and contain all the information needed to analyze and review status. We are a new start up so integration was very straightforward with a blank canvas to work from.
Inconvénients :
At the moment, I have not come across any gaps in requirements. I am looking forward to with interest using the master scheduling and standard cost modelling to see if this is as efficient as it looks.

Fabulous for Fabless!
Commentaires : Tensoft makes managing the fabless supply chain easy and the power of it's genealogy tracking feature is amazing - finding out when, where and how something was manufactured months or years after it was produced is a great ability.
Avantages :
The fact that Tensoft is designed from the ground up for the fabless semiconductor supply chain should not be underestimated - this software just works out of the box for planning and managing a fabless semi supply chain. Integration with Business Central is seamless and the variance analysis module is a complete revelation for someone who previously spent days trying to understand where his variances were coming from!
Inconvénients :
The one area that I felt was lacking was the UI - it looks a bit dated but I know they are working on a new look.
