Inconvénients :

I don't say this as a con because they are still improving and adding more features. It's still in the early stage. So, there are 2 things right now: 1. No mobile application 2. User Experience

A great alternative to Trello

Commentaires : We co-ordinate multiple projects with GitScrum, so that everyone can share information, even when they are off site. I have had some difficulty getting people to embrace the methodology, because they are from a paper-based system, but it has won them over.

Avantages :

The variety of ways to configure your workspace and the Kanban cards makes this a very good tool. I played around with different templates and lists, and it is really easy to change. The document storage with the subscription means that full projects can be managed with the system, no need to leave and search around your filing hierarchy.

Inconvénients :

Although changes take effect, the screen is not always up to date. You can add a field or a label, for example, and you only see it once you leave the editing screen.

Greed & Scam

Commentaires : Mixed, since before it was an ok software and now they are trying to force to upgrade with the Task Deletion Policy and this is the first time for me having a subscription this rule is applied.

GitScrum Solve My Teamwork with Small Budget

Avantages :

My institution has a small budget to subscribe to kanban based project management; GitScrum came to save my teamwork with a single payment for a lifetime promo. I was lucky to get this chance and use GitScrum since to increase teamwork productivity. It easy to use, even for beginners.

Inconvénients :

Less theming flexibility and multiple company within single account not possible

Good project management software

Avantages :

The template market place is awesome. Template from other contributor helps me structure my new project easier, especially in the area I do not have direct experience. I love it.

Inconvénients :

Lack of Gannt Chart, mobile app and integration to Microsoft Office push me to drop Gitscrum and start to use Microsoft Team.

Lifetime Deal Isn't Bad but...

Commentaires : The software is okay. It accomplishes the requirements that our team needs, but we had to utilize the software in ways that it wasn't intended (we don't use User Stories, and instead strictly use Tasks, with Subtasks as needed, for example). I chose the software because other reviews I had read indicated that it was competent, it provided the functionality needed, the price was reasonable with the lifetime deal, and it appeared that their team regularly released updates to the software. Unfortunately so far there haven't been any updates to the software and none of my enhancement requests have even been responded to, we've been using the software for almost 2 months at this point.

Avantages :

- The lifetime deal pricing. When I was searching for a tool to fit our team's need, this seemed to fit the bill. It was reasonably priced (no monthly fees). - Mostly has the organizational structure and features that our team needed (User Stories, Tasks, Story Points, Sprints) - Private Boards (Lifetime membership) - Unlimited Members (Lifetime membership) - Kanban/Scrum boards - Somewhat customizable

Inconvénients :

- So far their support team has not responded to any of my enhancement requests (It has been weeks) - It mostly has the features that I needed, but some of the features are implemented in quirky ways. - You cannot assign point values directly to User Stories (weird, right?) - List of User Stories show up on your US list forever. There is no way to archive them once they are completed, to only view the US that still needs to be completed. - When you are looking at your list of Tasks on the Dashboard, there is no indication to which US the Task belongs to (you must open the task and then you can see what task it belongs to). - Board updates made by other members do not reflect until refreshing the page - Website is not mobile-friendly and there is no app for the software. - Member management is very shallow - Making changes across multiple project boards simultaneously does not exist - Scrum tools are lacking. (There is a burndown available per sprint, per project, but it defaults to burndown by tasks completed (not effort), which is silly, and no way to change the default behavior). - There is no dashboard to see all active sprints across the whole company (you must enter each project separately) - Some pages return 404 error

Check carefully if this is what you want

Commentaires : I currently use Assembla to manage my own projects, and while I'm happy with it and all its comprehensive set of tools (git repos, ticket system, time control, wiki, etc), I consider it too expensive. I thought GitScrum could be a replacement, and was attracted by the chance to buy it once. Let me admit it was my mistake: I didn't do the proper investigation about the services offered, and assumed that GitScrum also contained private (git) repositories for the projects. But that’s not the case, GitScrum contains only the project management part. Having said that, I must say that the name of the tool/service is very misleading! I would definitely expect that a tool called GITScrum offered... well, git! I know I could eventually link GitHub or bitbucket accounts, but that kinds of defeats the purpose: I was looking for a self-contained tool, including having multiple repositories per project. My attempts to reach customer service to immediately cancel my purchase were totally ignored. So I ended up feeling this was just a Facebook-advertised scheme: a heavily social-network based advertising, with a very attractive pay-once pricing, for an under featured product. Disappointing.

Avantages :

Nice interface and look and feel, seems to be able to attend simple project management needs.

Inconvénients :

Very limited set of functionalities (contains only the project management part, no other features), and misleading name/advertising: doesn’t include git repositories in spite of the name. Customer support simply doesn’t exist, emails are not answered.

Company is scamming

Commentaires : This company scams its users with arbitrary price and rule adjustments. We 'invested' in this company early on by purchasing a LifeTime deal. This deal was for a workspace with no limits on number of users, storage, etc. Now they want to force a monthly subscription on all users, which costs annually what we paid once as LifeTime price, or you can only store your data for 3 months, after that all data, tasks etc. will be deleted. What is especially bad, this was announced to us 1.5 weeks before the change was introduced. A completely absurd deadline.Stay away from this company and with it Gitscrum.

The Company is technically fraud

Commentaires : They are not comitment with their old user that buy lifetime deal. I think this company is not respectfull with the deal that they already make at the first stage. When they sell the feature is lack and the site is very slow. Now i came back hope site is improve, now they change the policy now my work is gone forever. Don't buy it this company's deal it is not worthed and trusted.

Nope, we can't store it up to 2 years. Your works will be lose if you are subscribe.

I got lifetime deal while their still develop the website, the website is so slow so i am not use it anymore. Now i came back to use it hoping it is develop but i surprise that they the policy that make my work lost forever. The company is technically fraud and not respect the old user when they fund raising. Hope they change policy.

I've been a customer since 2020, I purchased a lifetime license and in 2021 I upgraded to support the company's growth, hoping to use the service in the future. This month, Gitscrum announced it will charge almost $30 monthly to keep data, otherwise, they will be deleted after 90 days. Which project management system can function if data gets erased? None. So, those of us who purchased licenses earlier have been defrauded. They've unilaterally changed the conditions, and data retention, essential for this type of service, has become an additional cost. If you also feel defrauded, join this group to explore legal actions, possible claims to payment methods, and to spread awareness of this malpractice. It's unfortunate that such situations occur as they breed distrust in purchasing this kind of licenses, harming other emerging companies.

Avantages :

The "lifetime" service with data retention was recommendable for its cost-quality ratio and optimal functionalities.

Inconvénients :

I cannot recommend this company. They modify the contractual terms unilaterally, demonstrating an unethical and possibly illegal behavior. Such conduct suggests that they could establish new policies in the future, ignoring the initial terms and looking for ways to justify such modifications, to the detriment of the spirit of the original service contract.

Dont waste your time and money with this product

Commentaires : Disapointed by customer support which didn't reply to none of my messages. Application feels buggy. API is closed so this product will never have level of integration with other services as its competitors. Would use it from time to time, but after changing policies only to force to upgrade to upper plan, feels like disrespecting customers

Interesting AI integration and whitelabeling capabilities.

Inconvénients :

Non responsive customer support. Application feels slow and buggy. On top of that a plan which was sold for 50 bucks, now has a new policy for 2 months of data history. I am sorry but this product is an absolute disappointment.

A very powerful and flexible project management tool but misleading whitelabel feature

Commentaires : My overall experience based on the main reason for choosing Gitscrum is very poor.There are many great project management tools and my main reason for choosing Gitscrum was for its whitelabel feature that was heavily promoted.I was misleaded basically after not being able to fully test during test so I purchased the cheapest plan to do this where I found the limitations or lacking feature which I communicated where I was told this would not be addressed.I will continue using Gitscrum but without the whitelabel feature as this has the potential to confuse my users.I would recommend Gitsrum but point out to users that they should be aware of the lacking features of the whitelabel and try to fully test it and be clear on the limitations to see if that would be a deal breaker for them.

Avantages :

Gitscrum as a project management tool is very powerful and flexible and offers many customization and ease of tracking projects from the main overview page.From adding tasks to the use of gantt, sprint and collaboration features like the wiki, discussions, documents and spreadsheet Gitscrum would meet any project managment needs.

Inconvénients :

Gitscrum's whitelabel feature is lacking and has the potential to confuse users for persons who are using their customized domain.When I pointed this out to them I was told by email support that it would not be address.I believe this to be very misleading about a feature they heavily promote on their website and for this reason I would say their whitelabel feature is a major con and for that reason I would not recommend or at least let potential users know that if they are purchasing Gitscrum for the whitelabel feature to be aware that it is not completely as would be expected.

Top of Class

Commentaires : I manage all my clients / projects using this tool as it has a little something for everything.

Avantages :

I absolutely love the ease of use. Some things as already mentioned need some improvement. But overall it is an amazing product for the value.

Inconvénients :

Mind mapping as it is glitchy. I use Safari as my daily driver and this feature requires a lot of work. But even in Chrome you have to double click to add or edit text which doesn’t always translate. Amongst a few other small things I’ve run into. Would love improvements to this feature as a while personally.

Commentaires : I need to plan workloads then track progress. This is not the tool!

Avantages :

The price seemed good at first until I started using it. Its very pretty. It is very configurable. All the Kanban board items you like for example. A lot of the normal lookup type lists like effort type etc can be customised.

Inconvénients :

There is a Gantt chart feature but but no way to set a start and end date for a task? It has very little integration with anything other than social media chat applications. The support is non existent and finding contact details is extremely hard to find and feels like that's the way they want it. Where's the GIT in GITScrum, nowhere. There's plenty of media bestowing its virtues but no documentation or help to back up its claims. Its a Kanban board only, dont expect anything more.

Best Agile/Scrum Project Management Software of 2019

Commentaires : This has been my best found in 2018, I am very happy with how much faster my construction projects/workflow has become after moving to GitScrum.

Avantages :

I run a Property Construction company and we have moved to adopt the scrum project management methodology in 2018. Initially we looked at other construction project management softwares that are readily available, however they look really dated and we wanted to use something newer and more flexible and customise to our needs, this is when we stumbled upon GitScrum. Setting up GitScrum was a breeze - everything is layout intuitively, and their UI is very modern and pleasing to use. Their support is very responsive and their founder is very approachable and helpful. I had a problem setting up my account and while waiting for the support to reply, I messaged the founder and to my surprise, he responded immediately and helped me fix it. Top-notch software with a very passionate founder, I am happy I found this app and imported all my projects to it. PS: The Rabbit mascot for GitScrum is so cute!

Inconvénients :

The development team is pushing out updates too fast (they add new features and updates weekly), it just means I have to keep learning new features in this already feature-rich software.

Update on using gitscrum

Commentaires : Very useful for project planning, the canvas view is nice and very user friendly. Keeps team on same page.

Avantages :

The chance to create a project emailing workflow is very useful, so it keeps people who need to be informed. Pricing is fair.

Inconvénients :

Lack of apps for android, IOs and PC. When downloading files shared in gitscrum, it changes the name to awful characters, doesn´t keep the original name. Integration with other apps is very limited. Doesn´t comply with Google Drive. There is no chance to archive finished projects.

Lots of potential

Commentaires : It is cost effective compared to competitors, it solved time tracking which is imperative for my company, and i like the kanban / sprint combination.

Avantages :

This is a hybrid between Asana and Jira - with the promise of being the best of both worlds. Great board management features and we love the checklists, workflow customizations, time-tracking, sprint management.

Inconvénients :

There are still a lot of UI bugs, phantom scrolling, export doesn't export everything for backups, I don't believe there is a backup of the projects, the sprint system is too "live" - when switching tasks from a closed sprint, you lose the accuracy of the burn down from the previous sprint. The support button was removed, so I can't send feedback easily. Some fields automatically save, others have a save button. I would like to be able to have the same task shared in different projects (like Asana can do).

Generally I like the platform, but some "must have" features missing

It is simple, easy to use. Enough for free lancer and small teams management.

Inconvénients :

I mostly use the board. Some features are missing. Although my reason to choose this platform is minimalist and easy management for my projects. But still some things are missing. These are: 1) Unable to delete/archive tasks after i completed them. So my board is getting larger and larger. 2) Because of my some columns' tasks are long list (because of 1), taking me long time to order my tasks , and when dragging a task to the top , scroll doesn't move by it self. so i move 5 tasks up each time , and scroll up and etc... 3) I connected my bitbucket account, but I don't get any benefit from that. Or couldn't find a place that give me benefit. 4) Except subtask relation no other option to add relate a task to another. ( related to, blocked by, and adding manually subtask relationship.) 5) Some formatting in description and comments are missing. Partial code cannot be beautifully added to the task.

Avantages :

The scrum methodology is designed to provide a continue cycle of deliveries to the customers. With GitScrum you can use it as a simple project management tool, or incorporate the GitScrum methodology, with stories, sprints and track time, keep files neatly organised and talk about the project with the project members. This tool designed is very powerful, and allows white label. We use it daily.

Inconvénients :

It would be nice to have tasks and files to email, this way, customers would be able to send documents without the need to create an account.
