Great ERP solution for mid and small size companies

Commentaires : Overall positive, but still a lot things to do.

Avantages :

Huge functionality, from timesheet management until invoicing for a good price. Simple to adapt to our companies needs. Simple to install and maintain. Covers out of the box all functinality which was available in ower former time management application (own development)

Inconvénients :

Huge functionality comes with huge complexity for implementation phase - you must keep the focus on "what is really needed" and then enhance over the time. Usability/User friendlyness can be sometimes better, but the team is working on that.

Alternatives envisagées précédemment : SAP S/4HANA Cloud, Kantata et SAP Business ByDesign

Pourquoi passer à Projektron BCS : 1. Comparable low price for us in comparison to the competitors with comparable functionality. 2. Can be adapted by our own to our needs 3. Fits to local standards (integration with accounting system, electronic invoicing standard XRechnung/ZuGFerD, supported Project Management standards)

Avantages :

Projektron is highly user-focused and provides a comprehensive suite of project management tools. It equips us with all the necessary instruments for our daily and routine tasks at a compact and transparent price.

Inconvénients :

Projektron is very feature-rich, offering all the capabilities we need. However, this also means it has a slow learning curve. Initially, user acceptance was partly low, but this issue has been addressed through intensive support. The application could benefit from a more streamlined design. As far as I know, work on this is currently underway.

New to the product, huge functionaltiy can be overwhelming

Avantages :

I like the ease of setup and that there is a quick reacting german support.

Inconvénients :

The functionality is very overwhelming in the beginning. Without training it can't be used practically. The license/role/rights is not very transparent for many functions.

New Generation of Project Management

Avantages :

a fully and complete software tool with very much additional functions. With this tool we will improve our daily work

Inconvénients :

very powerful software solution with many additional functions that requires a longer period of training

Commentaires : Handle the iron riangle of project mangement (scope, time, costs), daily processes via Tickets and Kanban and Idea/ Project Portfoliomanagement.

Avantages :

Projektron BCS offers a great customer benefit and supports our teams with a lot of features. It supports agile Methodologies with Scrum and Kanban, traditional Methodologies with Resource-,Time-, Risk- and Quality Management and allows us to combine both Methodologies for hybrid project management based on product development with compliance requirements and embedded systems. We can choose for each team and project the needed features and simultaneously synchronize these teams and projects via Multiteam-, Multiprojekt- and Portfoliomanagement. Supplementary features for HR (Management of applications and skills), Controlling (capture meatrial and labor costs) and Sales (billing and proposal preparation) supports equally daily routines and projects. Since we work with sensitive data we welcome the ISO 27001 certification of Projektron BCS to ensure complete information security. Every three months comes a major release with new features.

Inconvénients :

Projektron BCS is a very powerful tool with many features, so that the user can be overwhelmed in the beginning. The tool options allow to define default views for specific user groups. Since the feature development is customer-driven they have a lot of features and ideas in the pipeline which can result in some waiting time for a specific feature (complaining on a high comfort level).
