Azure Backup

No.1 Brand backup, simple to use for cloud and on prem, very sensible costs

Avantages :

Being able to action a single file restore for a backup image is great. restore of image gives you option to restore to Azure or bare-metal, so covers all on and off prem scenarios.

Inconvénients :

had an issue once with the on-prem server agent but fixed after 1 ticket raised with Microsoft. was down to a firewall from the office being changed and the port/rule not being updated to allow the backup to happen.

Azure Data Backup with no worries

Commentaires : It was very good experience with Azure and we are enjoying using it.

Avantages :

Azure comes with the brand trust of Microsoft and its customers support is very good.

Inconvénients :

Should have more easy UI for ease of understanding

Backup with Azure

Commentaires : For the purpose of offline and online backups Azure backup is excellent

Avantages :

We use on premise servers and we wanted a solution for our backups that would be available everywhere and on demand for both security and expansion purposes. We loved the fact that we can hybridize our backups and since we mostly use windows server we went with Azure backup

Inconvénients :

We are yet to find any shortcomings with Azure backup for our use case

Clunky and hard to use

Commentaires : It did the job, however we have since looked at other products that offer more functionality.

Avantages :

It integrates nicely with Azure services, and does not require an additional agent. It doesn't have an effect on network traffic as it's handled in the datacenter itself.

Inconvénients :

It's extremely covulted to find settings. Restoration is not 'like for like', and disks will be restored to a single storage account. It can only back up data to the same subscription, so impossible to have backup data stored elsewhere.

Great Utility to secure Azure based resources

Commentaires : Overall it's a very good experience with Azure backup, I never see any failure in taking daily backup and it works 100% as expected.

Avantages :

I like many features and one of them is easy to use product especially when Backup option is available at almost every resource. I also found restoration is much easier and simple when comparing with any other cloud provider.

Inconvénients :

There are few features like continues replication, Migration of backup from one location to another location. I also found reporting service is little complicated when there is a need of backup report.
