Avantages :

Very limted functionality

Commentaires : All too often I feel I am working against the tool, instead of with it. This is annoying and time consuming.
If somebody can give me a tip about a better tool, with the functionality I am listing as missing, I will change in a snap.

Avantages :

Nice 3d renderings, although hard to zoom in and out.

Inconvénients :

1: Buggy. Windows and doors skip around once added to a wall. I often have to put them back in place several times before they stuck. 2: I cannot create a room with irregular ceiling height, with different wall heights. The recommended "solution" using the magic cube is suboptimal, to say the least. If I replace a wall with a magic cube, I cannot add a window without losing the transparency. 3: I tried to create a loft with triangular end walls, which cost me all sorts of trickery and time, with a half-baked result. 4: Setting colors is a pain, because it is impossible to know to which part of an object (e.g. a window) a color square pertains. Trial-and-error is not good enough. Badly needed functionality: 1: Mark a room corner, and change its height, so that the adjacent walls and ceiling follow. 2: Change height of indivdual walls. 3: Make it possible to change size of each side and each edge of the magic cube, not only in the three spacial dimensions like now. 4: Make it possible to snap a door or window into the magich cube without losing the transparency. 5: We need a 'rubber band' grouping of objects, like in PowerPoint. 6: Grouped objects should be movable by arrow, not only ny mouse. 7: We need *menus* for grouping/ungrouping object, and a lot of more things.

Super Helpful for our Zoo Redesign Challenge!

Commentaires : Very happy with the capabilities. I have used it for courses, for physical planning purposes and redesign of spaces in the school as well. Love it!

Avantages :

Customer service added free educational accounts for us so that we could use it for a zoo redesign challenge for the Minnesota Zoo. They were required to use a 3D design platform, but the free version was too limited so we were given free education licenses. The project was much more sophisticated and realistic as a result of using Planner 5D!

Inconvénients :

I wish it allowed the ability to resize without having to change the dimensions manually. I would like to be able to go to the corner of an object or room and increase the scale that way.

Commentaires : Absolutely awesome [sensitive content hidden] in Customer Service was one of the most awesome customer service people I have ever worked with. Very patient and thorough they did not give up until I was sorted out. I love this app. If you do this for work I would say offer it to your customers to play with their layouts then show them what you can do it would be a powerful tool in that way. Also if you have any questions or concerns I am going to ask for [sensitive content hidden] you should too

Avantages :

I love how easy it is to use. I can make my own plans and share those ideas with contractors which is so awesome. I get to decide what I want to do myself and what I want to hire out for. I also get to see what’s feasible in my space before asking for the impossible.

Inconvénients :

I had a few glitches in the beginning but customer service was PHENOMENAL and sorted me out immediately. No cons for me. Maybe they could add pricing but that fluctuates so much based on market and date.

Quality Learning Tool

Commentaires : Company was great and wonderful to work with in getting my students educational seat options.

Avantages :

Students love the renderings and exploring features in 3d designs.

Inconvénients :

So far there hasn't been anything that we haven't like about 5D.

A program worth recommending

Commentaires : I definitely recommend the program! Thanks to him, many families got the design of their dream place. I can't imagine designing without this program. It is easy to use and very intuitive. You can create a professional project for a client or a project for yourself. Huge selection of materials and equipment.

Avantages :

A huge database of materials, textures, devices and furniture. Additionally, the ability to create your own things using good tools.

Inconvénients :

No program for computer. I have no further objections.

Valuable Design Management

Avantages :

Planner 5D has structures that helps share numerous designs with customers for unique structures.

Inconvénients :

Planner 5D has an imperative design control, and it saves businesses from extreme costs.

Commentaires : Good, but not perfect, like any software in these developing days.

Avantages :

Easy - to - use and very large catagory of 'things' that you can use.

Inconvénients :

You have to get premium for you to be able to use the entire range of furniture as an example. The pricing is a bit sneaky.

I love the drag and drop tool. I use 5d daily to design my dream home.

None. Literally none. If there is a problem just message them and they get back to you very quickly.

This is such a good Website. I'm a new user, and I must say it's a very swell app! I love how it creates something for you. It helps you expand your imagination and creativity, as well as helpful to homeowners! I am obsessed!

Inconvénients :

There's not too much to worry about, expect not many items in non-premium but your imagination can still soar!

Commentaires : Excellent. We added an addition to our home and 5D really helped us plan and to visualize the outcome. It actually saved us some money as we were working with our contractor because we could show him exactly how we wanted particular things to turn out.

Avantages :

So easy to use and really helped us visualize the finished project.

Great customer service! & App

Avantages :

I used it to design my family's renovation project. It gave us great flexibility and I love being able to play with the 2d and 3d views! Very easy to use especially for someone who's not familiar with these types of design apps. The customer service was seriously phenomenal when I had an issue!

Inconvénients :

I do wish they had more selections for furniture/cabinets/etc. or customizable by color

The best rendering app

Avantages :

I have tried out several rendering app (some free, some paid) but none has the ease of use and intuitive as Planner 5D.

Inconvénients :

None so far. The pricing for monthly seems a bit high but getting it for a year makes it more reasonable and a good value.

Great software

Avantages :

Planner 5D is a great software that gives me a lot of flexibility in designing and integrating an architectural plan. I would highly recommend it.

what I liked least about it was the time it took for me to understand it but then after a while you get the hang of it
