Commentaires : Previous to Cashmire I had various spreadsheets for each customer and product along with other spreadsheets for inventory tracking. Cashmire has streamlined processes to everything is in one place reducing the chance for error as well.
Avantages :
Once the Bill of Materials are added, Cashmire makes it simple to calculate material needs based on the work orders/production needs. I can run an 8 week demand report and see exactly when we need the material in house and if we have the required materials. These functions have speeded up my process considerably!
Inconvénients :
We are still waiting to integrate with Quickbooks. Once this is complete is will again reduce the amount of time to process orders. Current I enter into both systems rather than once.

Perfect fisrt-time solution for a mid-size company
Commentaires : The software solves 90% of our inventory management and ERP needs, at a cost that is a small fraction of packages that would deliver 95 or 98%. The Cashmere team has been tremendously flexible and helpful in developing new functionality for us and helping us get data out of the system.
Avantages :
Set-up is fairly simple and we were able to get users into the system quickly. This is a quick 6 week implementation, and 4 people can pretty much handle all the master file maintenance and data input for the organization on an ongoing basis - this is the organization's first ERP package, and it is just the right scale for our size and level of systems experience.
Inconvénients :
We've had to create a few workarounds for unusual situations that other more comprehensive packages will handle out of the box, but it's a good trade-off for the simplicity of Cashmere. We have not yet integrated Quick Books so we are not tying operational activities to financial results.
Cashmere Track and Trace: A Food Safety Prerequisite.
Commentaires : Overall we are satisfied with Cashmere Software. It helps us meet our regulatory and customer requirements for Trace-ability. It is very useful to operational tracking and restock planning of inventory. We are pleased with their Customer Support. They actively perform an educational function for our associates' continuous improvement with ERP. While we have always complied with FDA FSMA regulations, our paper documentation methods for tracing food movement were slow and labor intensive. Using Cashmere we now trace rapidly, electronically, optionally remotely and from a variety of trace filter perspectives. In addition, real time OPS data entered to accomplish Trace also enables our Inventory Tracking System. This combination of Track and Trace more closely integrates procurement, processing and distribution activities within a comprehensive Quality Control program.
Avantages :
Affordable, Cloud or Server Based, Scale-able to various users' skill sets. Expandable as our skill set grows. Excellent Customer Support. We anticipate integrating Cashmere with our accounting system, Quicken.
Inconvénients :
We'd like to see Cashmere add a supply chain documentation management module. We'd also like to see Cashmere further develop their "undo" tools. Let me further explain this opportunity. As a small to mid-sized company doing real time ERP for Track and Trace, an inability to "undo" some types of real time data entry errors / omissions is caused primarily by our in-house absence of staffing skilled in NAV data base management. These E/O instances typically involve Lot Code, or Best By Date typos. Once entered into Cashmere, we rely on Cashmere Tech support to correct our errors. There are safe guard aspects to this check and balance and Cashmere Tech Support is good about getting corrections done, but the farm to fork speed with which food business is conducted magnifies even small amounts of E/O correction time. A kind of domino effect occurs when an incorrect Best By Date entered during processing delays Sales Order Fulfillment an hour later as trailers are being loaded for same day delivery. Result is circling back to complete documentation in what we call 'data mining' rather than real time data entry.

Avantages :
I like that it has came so far, in the last couple years that we have been using it. There are always new features to help us get the most benefit for our company.
Inconvénients :
There are a few glitches here and there but once I notice a glitch and notify cashmere, a ticket is made promptly and it is addressed.

Avantages :
It's simple, straightforward, do not need a lot of information to set up. Plus the service is the best you can get things done in the system in matter of hours and the guys are always there to talk to you. You talk to people and you are treated as people.
Inconvénients :
Everything has its flaws. I don't recall anything worth to mention here.
