Avis sur Consolo Hospice Software
Loving Consolo
Commentaires : I enjoy consolo. I’m can be challenging the first 6 months to learn how to set everything up and understand the process of use. Once it is set up and taught it is intuitive.
Avantages :
The ability to customize for my company’s specifics. The help team. I love that during charting you can see the previous summary, you can click on the scale you need such as PPS FAST etc and it will define the scale. It won’t let you close a chart if everything isn’t done and it’s easy to find what you missed
Inconvénients :
The amount of steps to get consolo easy to use. It can be overwhelming to try and find the seraph words to identify the correct written helps. But you can always call and ask for help. Also when they do an upgrade there is always a time of glitches
I've used this software for 9 years
Commentaires : My hospice has been using Consolo for several years and, overall, are very happy with not only the software, but also the support that comes with it. We would recommend it to other hospice companies. If you do not have an in house biller, Consolo also offers billing services for an additional fee.
Avantages :
Once you learn the software it's very easy to navigate. As a hospice biller, it's one of the better softwares I've used over the years. There are several different tracking board options that can be set up; whether your a physician, office staff, or biller. The "help" section is very thorough and returns not only the best option for your inquiry, but also CMS publications that relate to your inquiry. Both claims support and software support are quick to respond to emails/inquiries about new problems or issues. The tech team alerts users with a login banner prior to scheduled down time well in advance of any update; and after the update there are always release notes available for review that highlight any changes made.
Inconvénients :
Last year the clinical charting was updated with a more "user friendly" format, but I find it a bit frustrating. When you pull up the clinical chart of a particular patient via the homepage, it should not default and pull all clinical visits of all patients. You must use the search function and let it autofill the patient name before you can put in a date range if you are searching for a specific date.
Things This System Are Not: Reliability and Ease of Use
Commentaires : Look, the customer service people are really good and they want to help, but sometimes even they seem lost and overwhelmed by their system when I've spoken to them. I do have my top pick of the EMRs, but I am not going to mention it here as really Consolo is already under the shadow of a lot of other systems. "BUT SO MANY HOSPICE COMPANIES USE CONSOLOOOOO." I can hear some of you people sticking up for mediocrity, but I'm sorry, that is a poor excuse to keep a bad system. I want them to improve, but as it is Consolo is on the bottom of my list of EMRs. Also, I don't own the company, if I did I would have switched it already.
Avantages :
This product is available for use in the hospice setting. May be in other settings, but as a user, I have found this product VERY wanting.
Inconvénients :
It is very unreliable. It is cloud based, but that in itself isn't bad, but what is bad is that just EVERYTHING with this based off the cloud - even CHOOSING which visit type you want to use! Want to put in a Routine RN Visit? Whelp, sorry, for some odd reason, the system isn't reaching the cloud at the moment and it you can't pull it up. Want to print an order that you have place? NOPE! Sorry, but the 3 dots that give you that option aren't on the screen at this moment for some reason. As an RN, I want RELIABILITY - why can't I choose my visit? I want EASE OF USE - why do you need 1 single page to input for each medication? I want a simple User Interface - the looks of this system is overwhelming and everything just feels HIDDEN. This system feels slow, clunky, and involves alot of jumping through hoops to do simple tasks. I have tried more than 5 different EMR systems in my career and this is literally at the bottom of that list. And I HATE Home Care Home Base, but even that somehow manages to outperform Consolo.
Great Customer Service
Commentaires : My overall experience with Consolo was good.
Avantages :
They had great customer service. When you had a question. They were educated about how to handle it and always got back to you.
Inconvénients :
The price is what I like the least about Consolo.
Poor software
Commentaires : It's cheap and that's probably the only reason it was initially purchased
Inconvénients :
Software is not user friendly. Tech support only had 2 people that even knew how to assist you and one has left the company. Forces you to go through multiple screens to complete simple tasks. Doesn't create usable or simple to read reports. Forces you to create a PDF of everything just to print it. QAPI reports are lacking. Some reports standard in other software systems are not even available with Consolo. Poorly set-up Bereavement program documentation system. Poorly designed clinical documentation system period.
