Commentaires : My overall experience with Talkus is positive.
Avantages :
Talk us is very easy to use, promotes effective communication. Lots of features in it to explore.
Inconvénients :
The only thing I can say here is that the cost might be a little less.
Best Slack Live Chat Tool
Commentaires : We have tried every Slack live chat tool that we've been able to come across, and Talkus is by far the best. We came across them when we were looking to add the ability for people to text us for support. We then realized they not only provided Live Chat and Texting options, but also Facebook and Twitter and it integrated right with Slack. We had been using another Live Chat solution (Chatra) that simply posted a link to Slack on new chats, but we prefer the entire chat experience to be within Slack because we don't need another tool and our entire team can take part of the conversations. We also had been comparing Smooch while we were evaluating Talkus, but found Talkus was a much smoother solution that we could start using right away rather than having to add custom code or bots to handle some of the functionality we needed. Support has been wonderful to work with. They were helpful and quick to respond. And because they use Talkus for their support, it was nice to be able to have conversations with their support via LiveChat, that then moved to email, that could then move back to Live Chat.
Avantages :
We love that the tool provides multi-channel support (especially Live Chat and texting) in one experience that's integrated right with Slack. Also, the ability to move from Live Chat to email and back to Live Chat is really a nice experience for end users. Their support has been quick to respond and really helpful.
Inconvénients :
It's nice they have the FAQ feature and News built in, although we didn't feel those were implemented in the best way. However, that wasn't our goal for this tool, so we were happy we could easily disable them because we didn't need them.

Disappointed
Commentaires : Would not recommend this service to anyone for any purpose.
Avantages :
Integration with Facebook and website worked flawlessly. Easy to set up.
Inconvénients :
Email integration truncated messages. No solution from the support team after many emails back and forth. Very disappointed with the level of support and failure to understand the technical issue (ultimately that I needed a point of reference for the truncated messages, which the service does not provide).
Perfect fit!
Commentaires : We started using Talkus in the beta phase and have watched it continue to improve and expand over the last year. We use it as a virtual reference service on our library website and it works great for us. It is truly impressive how quickly they respond to any questions or requests. We look forward to the upcoming new features.

Seamless integration with slack and the ease of use of the admin console.

Thanks for the review Travis. We are so glad we can help West Points Cadets find their way around The Academy¿s library. I know that among the Talkus channels you use text messages more than emails and the phone support. That must help a lot with the Gen Y / Gen Z students who use USMA¿s library. Really happy you like Talkus!
Talkus Helps with Helping Students

With web-based chat and integration with Aircall for voice, Talkus allows us to seamlessly address questions right in Slack, where our team is communicating day in, day out anyway. It's a powerful solution with next to no learning curve and great support.

Inconvénients :
None to speak of - just wish we'd found it sooner!
