Online booking directly from DriveReadyAuto.com, so you could build your own customer base rather than depend entirely on Turo. Self-Service rental workflow — especially the ability to combine HQ with Vouched for driver’s-license/identity verification, selfies, insurance verification, contracts, and payments. Stripe integration, allowing you to use your existing Stripe account for direct rentals. Fleet/calendar management that made sense for your roughly 10-vehicle operation. Custom rental agreements and maintenance tracking, both important as you moved toward direct rentals. Price — roughly $120/month for up to 10 vehicles at the time we compared it, which was substantially more attractive than some of the heavier systems. > > **Inconvénients**: Insurance was still the big problem. HQ could collect insurance information, but it didn't solve your central goal of providing/validating renter coverage in the way you wanted—especially having the renter pay for protection rather than Drive Ready Auto absorbing that cost. Driver/identity verification required another service. We discussed using Vouched alongside HQ rather than having everything truly built into one platform. Extra integrations meant extra cost and complexity. HQ's base price looked good, but Stripe, identity verification, insurance-related services, and other add-ons could turn a \~$120/month system into a more expensive stack. Some automation wasn't as turnkey as you wanted. Your goal was essentially: customer books → verifies identity/license → verifies or buys insurance → signs agreement → pays/deposit → gets pickup instructions, with very little intervention from you. You wanted one system to do everything.
