everything is good with this software but customer service does take a while.

Hello Justin, thank you very much for your kind words. While we appreciate feedback, it can sometimes be subjective. Based on your feedback, we looked at our stats and found out the median response times had gotten longer. As a result of it, we immediately increased the size of our support team by 200%. As you can see in the other reviews, the outcome was excellent supprot with fast reponse times. Thank you again for helping us strive to become even better!

Best PMS in 2023

Commentaires : I haven't looked back. I believe it's going to help take my property management business to the next level with the latest in integrations, their focus on integrations, and the educational content they push out online. They also provide an onboarding experience that is extremely helpful in getting you up and running with their platform on day one. You're partnered with someone who helps you take all listings and set up features with you one-on-one so you are just done and don't have to take the time to figure out the platform with user manuals. They are wizards, and save you hours. [sensitive content hidden] was amazing!

Avantages :

Great user interface, great integrations across automating your STR/MTR business. Direct booking connect directly to website is seamless, and we now have access to OTA integrations across the big players like Airbnb, VRBO and booking.com AND mid-regional OTAs that are hyper local to us in Tampa Bay. We have increased our visibility, offer more channels for guests to book, increased conversion as a result, and have one stop PMS that really puts us in the drivers seat for operations. I switched from another leading PMS platform that I used for 2yrs and love Hostaway.

Inconvénients :

Messaging could have a better user interface. Looks a little 90s but it works, you just have to make sure you have messages sorting with the latest on top like the OTAs do so you're on top of the latest message. I believe default is a different setting.I could be wrong. Also, app doesn't allow PMs to add expenses. This would be a nice feature so PMs can add expenses on they fly, instead of just the desktop version.

Charge-away! Overpriced and overcharged. Poorly designed software experience and no support.

Commentaires : Exceptionally poor and amateurish business experience with Hostaway. No additional value compared to other platforms that cost half as much. Awkward set up experience with lots of hidden settings that should be defaulted. You are contractually obligated to pay for set up when it should be free. The fact that you have to pay someone to show you how to set up a listing is indicative of how bad their software is. And yes I have set up listings on other platforms before without needing any guidance.Dismal documentation and useless support. Takes days to get an answer - if you even get an answer. They probably can't train up people fast enough because the software is so poorly designed. No excuse is acceptable for the poor support for paying customers.I deleted all my listings and then they re-appeared again, probably as an excuse to bill me. Have to dispute charges because Hostaway is charging for additional listings we never had, and continues to bill us despite terminating the contract. I can't do business with another company that operates like this.

Avantages :

AirBnB Pro integration had fast sync operation.

Inconvénients :

Too many missing guest details with VRBO integration. Had to spend hours checking bookings and manually entering in guest information into the reservation management portal.Really poor workflow with this application. Process designed by software engineers not business users. Ugly user interface and no intuitive design.Mobile app could not load over a data connection - had to connect to wifi. If you changed to a data connection it would prompt for a password then time out. Never had issues with other apps over data - except Hostaway.Mobile app locked up continuously and was unable to send out messages to guests to address their concerns. Tried restarting app and even rebooting my smartphone which was at latest OS version. Absolutely useless as a mobile app.Awkward setup process and should have better templates or examples. So many repetitive clicks when it should be defaulted.Cannot send attachments or images with automated emails. This is critical to giving our guests additional information related to check-in and finding the unit.The only thing worse than the software is their support. I received faster answers from competing applications support people and I wasn't even their customer yet! All you'll get from Hostaway is silence and excuses about support. Trying to cancel this subscription and of course you have to go through support to do so. Support doesn't answer and does nothing. Really dishonest business practice. I have no trust in this business.

Great and robust software with an outstanding onboarding support

Commentaires : as mentioned, Outstanding. Customers feels since day one that he is dealing with a reliable company. very hand driven and well organized. I am very (so far) happy. After the onboarding ends, I do hope the customer service support would be the same. Hope so..

Avantages :

I was very impressed since day 1 and how the kick off has been planned and managed. Very professional. The software is capable to do 90% of what you need and it is user friendly. The remaining 10% should be focused on what the property manager needs (based on country's regulations).

Inconvénients :

Booking engine, when you are about to built your website and you are only able to use google translations. which is for me, based in Portugal and being Portuguese, having a Portuguese / Brazilian translation. No good at all.

Alternatives envisagées : TalkGuest et Avantio

Pourquoi choisir Hostaway : Very basic, they sell you a product that in fact it is not like this when you in. connections are very poor and you must share your passwords to them to sync. really bad customer support, only emails and tons of tickets that at the end you are completely lost.

Pourquoi passer à Hostaway : The way the sales team approached me (not aggressive but as a selling position). They understood and were capable to answer to my needs and concerns (in all terms) which is a great value and respect for me. I will grow thanks to you but you ll also expand your business because I am an happy customer.

Avantages :

I love everything about Hostaway - seriously, I am your biggest fan.

Inconvénients :

When the app loads I would love multi calendar to appear first and not just the first property on the list.
