Its integration with Brightpearl is flexible enough to support complex workflows—such as excluding intercompany transfers between different legal entities from forecasting—so the data stays clean, and once everything is configured, creating purchase orders in Inventory Planner and pushing them to Brightpearl becomes a smooth, reliable process. > > **Inconvénients**: When we initially used Inventory Planner for assemblies—a secondary feature—it had a couple of limitations with the Brightpearl integration: assemblies always picked component inventory using FIFO with no way to override location choice, and there was no simple way to break down an assembly without manual adjustments. Outside of assemblies, the platform’s depth does come with a learning curve, and while support eventually resolved a reproducible UI bug we reported, they only prioritized it after escalation. > > We originally adopted Inventory Planner to fill Brightpearl’s lack of native assemblies before transitioning to its true strength in forecasting, and that’s where the software has proven its value. The platform rewards the time spent fine‑tuning lead times, days of stock, and forecasting models, and our implementation consultant was excellent in guiding us through the process. It also accommodated our more complex setup where transfers between two legal entities required both a purchase order and a corresponding sales order to flow between systems, and Inventory Planner provided the controls needed to ensure those orders were excluded from demand forecasting so they didn’t distort actual sales trends. Il n'est tout simplement pas conçu pour gérer les problèmes à grande échelle de leur système. Ils n'ont pas de numéro de téléphone direct et leur système de chat fonctionne comme une file d'attente, ce qui signifie qu'ils vous contactent dès qu'ils vous contactent. Ce n'est pas un problème majeur pour les petits problèmes concernant des comptes individuels, mais lorsqu'un problème système affecte plusieurs comptes, les réponses prennent des jours… et elles sont brèves et concises, sans aucune solution. Actuellement, le système pose problème depuis environ une semaine. Leur « solution » à ce problème généralisé a consisté à restaurer un point de restauration datant de plusieurs jours avant le problème. Cela signifie que toutes les données saisies entre-temps sont manquantes. Il me manque donc 15 bons de commande. Mon inventaire, même si le nombre de jours passés est important, n'est plus exact. Ces problèmes persisteront pendant des mois, le temps que nous les découvrions. La réponse de leur support… quelle réponse ? Nous étudions d'autres systèmes de gestion, car nous ne pouvons pas gérer une entreprise comme celle-ci. > > C'était bien jusqu'à ce que les énormes lacunes de leur service client soient révélées.
