Avantages :
Below are the features that I liked about Rival IQ - Data points such as % engagement w.r.t followers, individual posts, etc. - Ease to switch between competitions social page analysis
Inconvénients :
While the product is up to mark in terms of deliverables that a digital marketer would need but the costs are quite high and because of that it is out of reach for digital marketing startups/freelancers.
Best tool for monitoring and tracking channels
Commentaires : It is affordable and one of the best tools in the market for any organisation or agency.
Avantages :
Rival IQ is easy to navigate and provides all necessary tools for one to track progress and also have an idea on what competition is doing.
Inconvénients :
For a new user it is abit confusing to set up and one can easily select features that are irrelevant to the what they intend to do.
Good product, but not what we needed
Commentaires : Overall, our experience was Rival IQ was perfectly fine. We learned a lot about our competitors and the representative(s) we had on our account was a pleasure to work it. Ultimately, Rival IQ just wasn't for my team.
Avantages :
I liked the usability of the software and its overall layout. It was very thoughtfully put together and optimized for ease.
Inconvénients :
I quickly realized that the results/stats Rival IQ gathered about our competitors didn't really have an impact on my team's bottom line or overall social strategy. Although it was nice to see what types of posts our competitors boosted or what content worked for their platforms, it didn't change the content we produced for our audience much. I would have like to see a feature that specifically suggested new ways to present our content based on the information gathered from our competitors.
A great tool for analyzing trends on social media.
Commentaires : Rival IQ is excellent for keeping track of the main trends in social networks, it does very fast audits that allow you to get an idea of the strategies you can take based on social trends.
Avantages :
One of the main things that I could highlight about this platform is its interface, it is practical, clean and easy to interpret, this is very helpful for a better analysis, it is something that not all platforms have, another point that must be highlighted about Rival IQ is that works with many social media platforms including Tik Tok it is very handy to have a platform that works with all major social media. Generate reports quickly and very practical of the posts of the competitors on Instagram Facebook Twitter and TikTok.
Inconvénients :
A negative point is the price, it is a platform mainly for agencies or large companies since these plans are somewhat expensive for small business , another negative point is that the number of users is limited in their basic plan, only one is allowed and it is their most expensive, its limit is 5 users, this affects a bit when you need to collaborate with several people.
Good usability and data visualization, lacking on some customization and flexibility
Avantages :
The way Rival IQ visualizes data makes it easy for anyone new to analytics software to understand. It automatically creates some pretty great metrics for your social channels and you can export that data easily. It's much more user friendly than some of the native social analytics tools, such as Facebook. It also allows for social monitoring which is a useful tool. It also is able to tell you if a post was boosted or not and allows you to separate organic from paid, which is highly useful.
Inconvénients :
I found that the data that we wanted was sometimes not available through the software, and we either had to go into the platform directly, such as Facebook, to get it. I wish you were able to get more granular with the data. I also found it a bit lacking in the video analytics, specifically. Video is huge for any social publisher, and I would have liked more ability to see deeper video metrics.
