Great Program & Fantastic Customer Service!

Commentaires : It's been great so far! Their customer service is SO excellent that I'm okay having to save my questions until Monday morning.

Avantages :

The program itself is pretty user friendly considering how many complex issues need to be addressed in it. The Customer Support people bend over backwards to assist you with things you don't understand. They always pick up quickly and answer all your questions with friendliness and patience! I'm new to the service ... but it sounds like they take suggestions seriously and do regular updates to improve their program.

Inconvénients :

Customer service hours are 9:30 am until 8pm. They close early on Friday and are not available on Weekends. They do not currently have credit card capture ... BUT it sounds like it may be available in a few weeks!

Literally the best

Avantages :

Honestly, everything! I’ve been with a few other websites for my business and no others compare to Massagebook in my opinion. There’s so much I can do and so much that’s done for me through an automated system making it that much more easy to run my business sufficiently.

Inconvénients :

There are a few options I’d like to see that Massagebook doesn’t have but I’ve been told they’re working on changing that and updating their features which works out perfectly.

Could be great... but it's not even good.

Commentaires : It is an extremely frustrating time-sink. In its current state, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Avantages :

Customer Service: Excellent, but would be better if it was available on the weekend. But the reps are patient, kind, and - with rare exceptions - well-versed in the workings of the software.

Inconvénients :

Thank goodness for the excellent customer service, because I spend about 8 hours a week in chats with them trying to figure out workarounds to make it possible to do the simple things I need to do using their very limited feature set. There are so many extremely basic problems with this software that I just don't have the time to list them all. I just got off of the second support chat today, making it 2 hours for today. One example of these basic flaws is the character-count restrictions: 1. Character-count restrictions are not stated at the top of the text field, so you have to write something, hope it fits, and then spend time editing it when you find it's twice the allowed length. 2. When you go over the limit, the char-count info appears, but doesn't tell you if the number does or doesn't include spaces. 3. I tried with and without spaces, and even with the latter effort coming well-under the stated char-count, it wouldn't accept the text (I did try filling out the rest of the fields and saving and the char-count warning remained and it wouldn't save). 4. It turned out that the software was counting some kind of invisible characters that can exist when you copy and paste, so I had to copy and paste my text into an editor and remove the formatting, then copy and paste it again into the MB description field. 5. All of the char-counts are woefully small, leaving users to work themselves into knots trying to cram in the relevant info while also being clear. In some cases, it's simply not possible (the description fields for regular services, for example, are a mere 512 characters - that's only about 80 to 100 words). 6. There's no field specifically for restrictions. This is a pretty significant oversight, IMO. As I said, this is just the most recent example of the many, many problems I've faced with this software. I think they've said, "sorry, that's not possible and there's no workaround" about 10 times, just this month. When I've inquired as to why these basic features are not being fixed or added, I'm told they're working on a big payment processing update. Ironic, cause that's one thing that works without any issues.

Massage Book for a one person business

Commentaires : I'd say it was pretty good, I liked the features, and the price was pretty reasonable. The ease of use was around the middle. Some things were harder than others but I really appreciated it as a single business owner.

Avantages :

It allowed me to have online booking for my business and had the option for clients to pay up front rather than at the time of service.

Inconvénients :

It was hard to know how to make my massage book page more visible on their platform, especially according to search engines.

MassageBook is a GODSEND!

Commentaires : Recently I sent in a question and received a call back that offered me a solution I was not aware existed within the site. This solution not only saved me time, but money as well. I am super grateful for MassageBook and all of their team that allow technically challenged individuals like me to maintain a professional online presence.

Avantages :

I love the ease of use with MassageBook. I am not very tech savvy and MassageBook allows me to keep my business running smoothy. My clients love it as well. They say it is so easy to schedule with me and I it has increased the number of reviews I receive, which has helped me get even more clients.

Inconvénients :

I have yet to find anything that I do not like about MassageBook.

It's difficult to find the actual credit card processing fees being charged by Massage Book for client transactions. This data is needed for bookkeeping purposes.

Making My Massage Job Easier

Commentaires : I use Massagebook at one of my massage jobs. I work on a Chromebook during my scheduled massages. I used it to schedule, check clients out, process payments, and write SOAP notes for each client.

Avantages :

I love how you can write your SOAP notes in Massagebook. I also love the way your schedule looks in Massagebook.

Inconvénients :

All the controls are in different areas, on a Chromebook then on a computer. It is hard to find some of the controls.

A Real Bang for Your Buck!

Commentaires : MassageBook has been a great tool for our Massage Business. The functionality, integration, and ease-of-use of the system is unmatched in our eyes. We spent a fair amount of time researching various business management platforms we could use prior to investing, and we have not regretted choosing MassageBook once!

Avantages :

MassageBook is intuitive to use with easy access to video tutorials and customer support. The website integration is great for our business needs and integration with Square (for processing payments) has been invaluable for us. More than the ease of use and operational properties, however, we couldn't be more impressed with MassageBook's customer service team. We were easily able to schedule a Google Meet call with a representative and share our screen with them to have a personalized walk-through of important business functions for us! It took the fear out of the process of starting our business!

Inconvénients :

The only small feature I wish MassageBook had so far is an option to export your schedule without having client information show up (in instance where you want to share the blocks of time that you are busy, but don't want to disclose any client information). We were able to, however, find a simple workaround with the help of the wonderful customer support team!

Avantages :

I like the fact that it is user friendly. There are a few features that i would love to be updated on the site such as the mobile app where i can access my services instead of having to hop on my desktop to do it. Other than that i am so thankful for this software because as a business owner I don’t need something that is difficult to navigate. I want to be able to focus on the gift and talent that i have as a massage therapist and not have to worry about something going wrong on the admin side since i am currently the only one working my business right now.

Inconvénients :

I would like to access my service menu on my mobile app instead of going to the desktop to do it.

Ease of use

Commentaires : I would highly recommend MassageBook to anyone. I have used a few different scheduling software systems and MassageBook is the least expensive for what they offer. Their customer service is outstanding and the ease of use is amazing!

What I like most about MassageBook is the how easy it is to use. I really enjoy being able to offer my clients promotions, Massagebook helps make it fun and interactive.

Inconvénients :

I can only speak of the past, but clients would have trouble booking but I don't think that is the case anymore.

Great solution for running my successful massage business

It is a one stop app for running my massage business. I picked it when I started almost three years ago and it keeps getting better. Support is always there if and when I need it.

Inconvénients :

Nothing. I would like the receipts I send to clients by email to include a list of their next appointments. This not a con but would be yet another way for the program to help me be successful and fully booked.

Helpful & easy

Commentaires : I would say 8 out of 10 rating. The customer service agents know about the product well. They will have an answer quickly. I appreciate that bc so many times I am in between clients and they are friendly. Thank you for that. Customer Service is not so great these days.

Avantages :

I like that it is mobile and easy to use on the go. I am an inhouse and travel massage therapist. It's very important for me to have this readily available.

Inconvénients :

I am not a fan of only having stripe to use when checking out a client. I had to sign up for another payment because MB app won't allow payments from Square anymore. So, if I want to use Square, I bypass MB altogether bc I don't use the laptop version often.

Great Product with a Great Team

Commentaires : The team at massagebook together with the experience thus far in 6+ years using this product I truly can say it's been a delight.

Avantages :

Massagebook offers great value for money and the team are always at hand to answer all of our questions. They never went more than 24hrs to get back to us. They are a growing company which means they welcome and receive feedback and work towards refining their product. We have great experiences with every one of their staff and continue to work together to optimize the experience further.

Inconvénients :

We have been unable to connect Massagebook with other payment processing companies in order to save on card fees and although they have a feature that can cut the cost on this, it doesn't make sense across the board. We would love to be able to see more reports such as pre-paid fees.

Easy to use, but needs work!

Avantages :

Scheduling and booking is easy from the app and website.

Inconvénients :

It often double books on sessions that require two massage therapists, as it only cares if you have one available. No way to set a service to require two staff members. Add ons don’t allow a time allotment or associated service provider, so can’t be used or they double book staff members.

Sometimes it’s a little confusing what each setting does and I wish there was a bit more description to some settings but the customer service is so great it almost doesn’t matter.

Only 4 pictures allowed for web page. I would expend to 8 pictures. Also, Add-ons services are not visible as services and promotions. It should be open to the client at all times, not only at the time of check out. It limits the overall service menu.
