Description de Uscreen

Uscreen permet aux créateurs de vidéos de distribuer leur contenu de manière sûre et rentable. C'est une solution SaaS à la fois simple et performante qui donne aux créateurs de vidéos un contrôle total sur la monétisation de leurs vidéos.

Uscreen a été lancée en septembre 2015 et héberge maintenant plus de 1 000 entreprises et créateurs, y compris de grandes marques telles que WanderlustTV, Leadercast, RIVNow. Toutefois, 80 % des utilisateurs d'Uscreeners sont de petites marques qui ont lancé des services de streaming sur abonnement très réussis tels que MagicStream et TMilly !

The Platform I've Always Needed

Avantages :

It's the exact system I need for my membership. I wanted to create a Netflix for podcasters, and even built out a version one on top of WordPress. But Uscreen does everything I need it to do and more. It was a no-brainer for me to switch.

Inconvénients :

I'd love an importer for Vimeo to Uscreen, and the ability to make some videos public and embeddable on other websites.

Commentaires : Overall, my experience with Uscreen has been great! I like how much I can provide to my members. In fact, there are a couple features on Uscreen I have not been able to use quite yet but I'm excited about their feature and when I get to the point of being able to put them to use.

Avantages :

The thing I like most about the Uscreen platform is the way I can connect with my members. Being able to connect with my members via Zoom and hearing their questions, being able to communicate with them more efficiently, has been a gamechanger. The members really appreciate it too.

Inconvénients :

The platform does not have the opportunity to provide documents unless said document is attached to a video. With what I do, I provide a lot of documents such as patterns, charts, worksheets, and forms that don't naturally have a video to attach to sometimes and I have to spend extra time creating some kind of video just to provide a document to my members. It's cumbersome.

All too hard, Frustrating, Incompetent tech team

Inconvénients :

The most frustrating company to be affiliated with. Incompetent. They don't address the technical issues you face on your site. You have to employ external tech guys if you want anything added to your site. There are constant issues. I pay USD1000 per year to use their site. Not worth the money. Really frustrating.

Commentaires : Onboarding has been a smooth process and I was kept informed all the way. I have connected with other creators in a short time.

Avantages :

So user friendly, the support and community.

Inconvénients :

Could be some additional features but I also wouldn’t want to take away their niche.

Commentaires : There are pros and cons to Uscreen, but once you're a member there is a lot of support to help make your membership succeed.

Avantages :

Uscreen has been our video hosting website since we October 2022. The website and back-end interface are user-friendly enough, allowing us to focus on creating quality content without much technical issues. Their customer support is always helpful and responsive. We chose Uscreen for its community features, and the ability for our audience to comment on specific videos has fostered a strong sense of engagement and community.

Inconvénients :

Despite its strengths, Uscreen has some notable downsides. The analytics are not as detailed or informative as we would like, although we are hopeful about the improvements they're making. The most significant drawback has been the outrageous increase in cost per subscriber. This substantial hike was difficult to budget in since our operations costs are already very high, but we decided to stay with Uscreen due to the overall benefits. While there are areas needing enhancement, such as analytics, back end community notifications and pricing, we are overall happy with them. I really miss when Uscreen had their community on Facebook, I feel like there's a lack of interaction on their Uscreen community since we had the switch.
