Integrating SecOps with your everyday ITSM and business operations
Commentaires: Having everything consolidated in a single platform, sharing data between all modules to have a very comprehensive view and use of all our enterprise's assets, is certainly a big plus for ServiceNow.
Avantages: ServiceNow Security Operations is yet one more example of the HUGE flexibility that the ServiceNow platform and solution has. Besides hadling ITSM tasks with ease, such as Incident, problem, Change and Request Management and End User Portals, you can leverage your existing ITSec solutions inside the SN SecOps plugin to automate tasks such as creating an emergency patch request, running a malware scanner on a suspicions device or group of devices, and other security tasks, exactly the same as you automate your regular tickets and IT requests, with the same level of notifications and SLAs for a more agile approach to security response, and with the same dashboards to see how well (or not so) are you in overall security at a glance.
Inconvénients: The only real issue might be the scope. Normally ServiceNow is oriented to middle-to-big enterprises, so it could be financially challenging to adopt for a SoHo or newly established company. However, there are three different tiers (Standard, Professional and Enterprise), so you might find the most adaptive to your budget.

Great solution that tackles multiple areas
Avantages: The sec ops solution of service now is a great feature that assists tremendously with vulnerability management. It helps streamline and automate the process.
Inconvénients: I have not had any complaints with the solution. It does interfere and worm well with the major players in the vulnerability management space
