Avantages: I have been using Xero for a good number of years now and can only recommend it! The usability is fantastic, the ability to see really clearly how the accounts work is groundbreaking in its field. I love the bank reconciliation and the bank feeds. The automation of data is actually fun and linking it into the add-ons can make life a lot easier and save time and money. It is a great way to keep things simple and clear. I love the advisor features, that you can't break it (although you can make a real mess if not careful). For me the biggest benefit is the clarity of the data and the ability to drill down into virtually anything. Don't use Xero in super complex scenarios and I would recommend that you employ a proper XERO accountant - who actually knows how to use Xero and uses the data when using it though or you will end up paying twice - once for entering the data to xero - and again when the accountant pulls it out into their own software. Overall I would absolutely recommend Xero for people who are more serious than working in spreadsheets but who are turning over £50k-£3m+ with a fairly simple process.

Inconvénients: We have found that Xero does not work well in all scenarios but there are work arounds - the bigger the business and the more complex the processes the less it suits but then if you are bigger/more complex you should arguably be using something else!
Support is not awesome! It can take time and you are often met with unhelpful suggestions. There has been an increased number of 'blips' in the software in more recent months and the support has been almost useless in those cases and I have had to find workarounds. Conversation/instant message support should surely be on the cards?
Another thing that I don't like is the highly evangelical nature of the conferences! It borders on the cultish and if you are not 'in' then you are definitely 'out'! I have not found there to be any benefit to being on the 'directory' for that same reason.

Commentaires: We changed to Xero about 6 months ago. Biggest mistake ever. Whilst there are some nice aspects to the software, there are several glitches, bad design elements, crucial missing items (such as delivery notes). This is NOT the main problem. The main problem is that Xero don't care! Once they have you as a customer, they don't care if it works for you or not. To give a little background....we are a relatively young company and have embraced new software technologies since we started almost 10 years ago. Examples include OnePage CRM, Pandadoc, Trello and many more. I would say all had some sort of design issues or glitches at one stage or another, especially in their early days. The huge difference is the customer care and the efforts made to improve. All the other softwares that we have used, give a strong impression of a genuine desire to help us as a customer and any issue, especially one that would be in any way serious to the overall working or design of the system, has always been remedied in a short time. Xero is different. They give a strong impression of not giving a toss if it works or not. Then refuse point blank to make changes, however serious an issue might be. And of course an issue with an Accounting software is actually far more serious (generally) than any issue with a CRM or project management or similar software. Believe it or not, Xero users started looking for Delivery Notes 8 years ago and still today, all they have is a poxi workaround that is a complete farce. This is proven in the trails of customer complaints and comments in their Community Feed. You might think why don't we just move.....well we would and will but it's such a huge effort to move everything to another software. Even now, we still struggle to find details that we created in our old software. We'd actually far prefer to stay (and we'd just get over our annoyances to date) if only they'd make some effort. If anyone out there is considering Xero as an accounting software, I STRONGLY URGE you not to use an consider ANY OTHER software instead. I am happy to discuss this with any potential customer and by your reply to this comment, I should receive a notification to which I will respond as soon as I can. Fergus

Avantages: It's on-line, cloud based. The App is pretty nice. Some decent features throughout. Inventory works well

Soooo frustrating as many of the issues are small and so easy to fix but they refuse point blank to do so
