Excuses were made that it was not the job of that representative anymore because of a promotion and no one was assigned to the account, so he was doing both jobs. This is not the customers problem it is the companies issue to fix. > > Good until an error occurred with payment to a third party, this became lengthy to get a resolution. The rub is that you pay a premium for that type of service. All in all they have a solid and very customizable product and it's well rounded given there several acquisitions to include just about everything under the sun under one product offering. > > **Inconvénients**: The cost. Being a legacy payroll provider, the cost certainly is high in comparison with all of the other providers. The other thing that could be a challenge was the revolving door of specialist that would be assigned to our account. It seemed like every month or two we'd be assigned to a new Paychex team member. Also given Paychex size it seems that the teams are geo-diverse and don't utilize the same tools and resources to manage customer accounts internally. i.e. probably no shared CRM or Salesforce platform. We'd routinely get calls from folks in different departments trying to upsell our service offering only to tell them we spoke to someone else about this less than a month ago and have no interest in implementing the additional services. > > Strong provider, but overall, the cost was very prohibitive.
