This is what you need if you have camp program

Avantages :

Where do I start. We have campers all around California and out of state. Our old system was complicated, not user friendly and parents would have to mail or email us additional forms. With CampDoc everything we need from parents are all in one place. If parents forget to sign or fill out, we can just email them to go in and take care of the issue. On the back end - user friendly for staff. Everything they had to do on paper now can be done online from assigning cabins, reviewing special request, rosters, etc.

Inconvénients :

At the beginning it was a challenge with the integration with our current software. the Communication between three parties was challenging but at the end it was worth it.

Commentaires : For anyone that is using Daxko for your summer camp as a registration system, if your camp is over 60 people, you should be having something like camp doc to help manage information. You don’t know how much extra work you’ve been doing until you see what the system can do.

Avantages :

From design to use ability, camp doc is one of the most comprehensive and user-friendly systems for managing camp information.

Inconvénients :

The list builder feature has a little bit of a learning curve but once you understand it, it makes sense.

quick and easy for parents to submit the information we need to run a safe and fun camp experience for our girl scouts!

I guess dislike that edits to forms take a while to appear, like you can't live edit it yourself.

Great Resource for Camp Organization

Commentaires : I have been so pleased with the customer service we've received using CampDoc. Everyone has been extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Although we are very new to using the system, I feel like we are supported and have someone to help us if any questions arise.

Avantages :

I love that this software helps our families keep a profile so they do not need to fill out repetitive information every time they register for our camps. It is also amazing for attendance and check in/check out during the hectic camp weeks.

Inconvénients :

We are very new to using CampDoc, so I am not familiar with all of the features yet. I wish I could start a waitlist using CampDoc even though we do not currently have the full registration (payments) option.

The ease of collecting and maintaining required documentation for each camper.

It feels like a lot to learn at first, but the staff are so supportive, and once you learn it, it's intuitive.

Avantages :

Product is easy to use and navigate. Everything is in one spot - registration, medical records, administering meds, contact info, etc. Customer support is INCREDIBLE and HELPFUL !!!

Inconvénients :

N/A there's always new things to learn but it's easy to explore and figure out!

We Love CampDoc!

Commentaires : I love using CampDoc! It's helped so much with the organization of our programs and it's easier on our families to register for our programs since they don't have to fill out the same information every time they want to attend anymore.

Avantages :

I love the customizable reports and how everything stays organized. The biggest help is how easy it is for our families to register their kids for programs once they've created the account. The Medical Sections are well crafted and gives us as the camp as well as the parents peace of mind that we are fully prepared to care for our students.

Inconvénients :

I feel our camp has different needs than most camps. At our camp, some students choose to get headshots so if there were a way for us to upload those images to their CampDoc account so I wouldn't have to store them, that would be helpful. We also have some programs that require audition videos for some but not all student and if they could submit their video for us to review and share to other teachers that would be cool. I know we can have them upload videos files but since it's not required for all students, that feels like more of a hassle to do it that way.

CampDocs make our registration process so much easier getting all campers and staff signed up in one place, it makes it easy to send out emails to everyone needed.

Inconvénients :

Since our camp is nonprofit we do not require payment and even without payment campdoc sends out emails to our campers families about buying campdoc insurance.

CampDoc is great!

Commentaires : We were able to go completely paperless for both of our camps and it was a game changer! The ease of accessing information on the fly and having the information at our fingertips was outstanding.

I like the ease of use. It is a straight forward platform and is very user friendly.

Commentaires : Overall I think CampDocs is a great software system if your camp has kids that require medicine, etc. their main focus was on the medical side, which we really didn’t have a need for. If they put as much effort into the financial reports as they did the medical, we probably would’ve stayed with them.

Avantages :

I liked the ease of CampDocs. The team responsible for our account was always responsive and available to help us navigate the software.

Inconvénients :

CampDocs lacked financial reporting. The dashboard never cleared after completing the season, so you’d see this big number but that number was cumulative of how many sales etc. you had since the beginning of time. It was very confusing and made reporting very difficult. Also, you could not enter in your camp seasons/ sessions on your own. Their team had to go in and do it for you, and then there was a testing phase before it went live. Sometimes that made us have to push back registration, which was an inconvenience.

Powerful and useful, requires skill to use and administrate

Avantages :

Outstanding customer service and support, powerful tools, high degree of customization and options for registration and tracking. It is able to meet our needs when not much else does.

Inconvénients :

Notable learning curve to begin administrating the software, many of our users report difficulty with accessing CampDoc. There are a lot of features we simply don't use.

Full service suite of resources

Commentaires : Most of our experience was very positive. But at the end of the day, the monthly charge was going to be too high for the one two months a year we actually use the software.

Avantages :

Our camping ministry has worked with the team at CampDocs for the past five years. While the setup process can be a bit extensive, the team is always faithful to listen to our needs and provides timely edits. The charges for accepting online payments are competitive and the ability to generate reports is a excellent. The jewel of this software is definitely the eMar health system for tracking medications and allergies. Overall, this software has saved us a ton of time sifting the right information for the right camps.

Inconvénients :

It can be a little tricky generating reports that look exactly the way you want them to, and get the right information in that report.

User Friendly Camp Software!

Commentaires : General experience with CampDoc has been great. They have a high quality customer support team. I have used 3 different data base portals for this camp program, and this one is the most effective in quality in regards to camp management.

Avantages :

CampDocs is specifically built for summer camp and it shows. The registration portal, electronic health profile, and report export have been incredibly helpful in summer camp management.

Inconvénients :

The financial ledger is sometimes a bit confusing, and the registration system only allows for one camper to be registered at a time. However, there have been minimal complaints from constituents using this software.

The thing unlike most about the software is being able to track registration progress of multiple campers in one place.

Inconvénients :

Some of the more advanced features are not intuitive to get to or use. The hardest part of the platform is permissions for provider accounts.

Avantages :

Technical support is very good. Price is reasonable.

Inconvénients :

Needs a mobile application. 99% of our usage is in the field and on the go. Need a customizable EMaR to quickly indicate sports injuries.

Commentaires : We have been able to access all the past records very easily since we set this up a number of years ago.

Avantages :

Once we set it up for the year, it is easy to update year to year and change what needs to be changed while keeping those that are fine.

Inconvénients :

It takes a long time to get the launch based on changes back and forth.

Avantages :

The CampDoc software provides a user friendly experience that each family can use to upload their information for their camper(s) each year. Having the ability to update existing information saves both us and families time.

Inconvénients :

Because there are so many options on how best to use the software, there is significant learning time that needs to be allotted to administrators.

Commentaires : It's great to have everything online. The biggest game-changer is being able to access a student's file quickly in the event of an emergency. No shuffling through paperwork and trying to read illegible writing when time is critically important.

Avantages :

Love the flexibility of incorporating many different documents for various events/locations. Customer support has always been top-notch. Personal attention, professional yet personable, and always working quickly to solve any issues.

Inconvénients :

Fee structure is very much geared towards a camp property, not necessarily towards an organization that operates remotely and conducts events seasonally.
