Launching and Running a Medical Aesthetics Practice with Aesthetics Pro
Commentaires : I am extremely pleased with this remarkably comprehensive software - since it helps manage the medical, financial and marketing aspects of the practice. I purchased this software before launching a startup, and Aesthetics Pro has facilitated smooth operation in almost all facets of the practice. The EMR forms and templates have easily edited text and graphics. The side-by-side photo gallery, which can marked, is also simple to use; the staff spends comparatively little time creating comprehensive medical records. Clients can access discharge instructions from the client portal, or we can email them easily if left behind. We will take advantage of online booking and in-application messaging as we grow. But what really separates Aesthetics Pro from other EHRs is the seamless integration of marketing efforts and lead tracking. The increased efficiency (reduced staff time on redundant data entry) using a program that merges marketing software with EHR software. The lead list database in Aesthetics Pro has been crucial to our growth and success – converting a lead to client takes one click. Besides being able to send email blasts within the EMR, we can monitor the effectiveness of of all of our marketing campaigns – from print to digital to meet-and-greets. We’re also now able to track our referring clients, so we know those who like recommending us to others. Aesthetics Pro’s inventory tracking is also invaluable. Highest praise for this well-crafted, robust software.
Avantages :
Tracks, manages and markets to new leads- including email blasts & touchpoints Excellent EMR Inventory tracking Tracks efficacy of our marketing efforts to determine ROI Metric reports are simple to generate Tracks patient referrals and marketing effort effectiveness via rewards tracking Dashboard tracks patient balances and services remaining in packages easily Easy to create pop up notes for informal communication re: patient Option to fully integrate the website and the practice management software Frequently adds new features to augment quality of patient care and marketing Scheduling by staff member, room and device helps avoid scheduling errors
Inconvénients :
The patient's allergies list/profile does not appear in the patient's dashboard, and does not pop up in any way while writing the patients' medical notes. Same for emergency medical contact. The training information comes only video format, so its difficult to look up the answer to specific 'how to' questions after the videos have been viewed. Fortunately, the support staff is extremely prompt responding to both basic and complex queries via an in-application communication system - so these questions are quickly answered. The way the consent and discharge forms are currently structured, we can alter existing forms, but cannot create or add new ones.

Glitchy, not worth it
Commentaires : Bad experience. I am on a look out and scheduled some demos with competitors. My main issue is constant glitches: eblasts not being sent when scheduled or come out crooked, by the time the clients receive monthly eblast promo it is end of month, and why so long?- because their support is not resolving issues but only dragging time to seemingly look they are trying to help. Other issues I encountered: records dont save, appointment reminders fail, no gift card option, vital functions for medspa managing are absent making it a barely charting program. The worst is also their support, but really- lack of it. You need to write them a question you have in a ticket, by the time someone gets back to you can pass 2 days, just to read a sentence from them to clarify my question, than waiting again- nightmare. That is why it takes months to get answers to resolve a certain issue. Their support team i fins is quite incompetent and answers with premade learned generic sentences. I am not happy with them. It is the worst program I have used as a medspa owner. Charting- not bad, easy, medspa managing - non existent. You would still need to get Twillio, or 3rd party for gift cards such as Giftfly. Before Aurora there were no glitches, after Aurora- glitch on glitch. Their web developers need to be fired!
Avantages :
Charting is relatively easy, I can customize charting templates. Thats it.
Inconvénients :
Constant glitches ever since new version Aurora came out. I dont care for any new features if it is unusable due to glitches. The marketing is nonexistent, the eblasts are sent with a bunch of signs and symbols instead of attached photos, no 2 way messaging. Its pretty bad.

Our Business' Experience with AestheticsPro is 10 out of 10!
Commentaires : Overall our business is very happy with AestheticsPro! We came from using an outdated software that was not cloud based, and the ease of using AP is a tremendous difference for us. AP support is top tier and always prompt and helpful with any issues that come up. We have 3 locations for our business and the new Aurora update has made it easier to customize our settings on each location individually. We have regular check-ins with our account manager [sensitive content hidden] to make sure our business is doing well and letting us know about new features, and Daija is always available for assistance when needed. The new AP app that is available with the Aurora update is great to let us view our schedules anytime on the go, or if our computers are having any issues it's great having the app available for us as a backup.
Avantages :
What I like most about AestheticsPro is the ease of access. It's easy to access our environment from any computer or mobile device at any time without having to connect to server databases or worry about database updates etc.
Inconvénients :
What I like least about AestheticsPro is if I have different locations open on multiple tabs in the same browser, it will glitch having multiple locations open and show you the schedule for just one location on both tabs.

Sometimes if an appointment slot is double booked you can not click on client to open.

Doing business with aesthetics pro
Commentaires : Over all experience has been good . The staff try to answer questions and they do good work explaining things

The platform has many many uses for my business and they are always updating with more and better features

I wish businesses have the ability to interact with training staff in real time to ask quick questions or solve quick short problems I also wish businesses have 2 x 30 min sessions per month

AestheticsPro is Fantastic
Commentaires : I am very pleased with AestheticsPro. Everyone is incredible organized, responsive, helpful, and the EMR is intuitive. I met with 7 different EMR groups and AestheticsPro stood out as the easiest to use, great cost for a small practice like mine, and incredibly good customer service. Not sure I can ask for more.

erx integration issue. My choices were EazyScript that I had planned on using due to cost and they ended up out of business right when I joined. So, my only option now is MDtoolbox which is pricy to start but good when it comes to monthly thereafter.

Aesthetic pro for Medspa
Commentaires : Overall good once learning the program. The automated upgrade was extremely frustrating as no warning was given. Most info didn’t transfer over. When contacting customer service can’t really speak to anyone - put in a ticket and go from there.
Avantages :
An assortment of consents, instructions, ease of sending paperwork to clients before appointment. Ease of scheduling and payment.
Inconvénients :
Customer service is hard to get in contact with - actually speaking with a live person. Automatic upgrade is frustrating as no warning was given and most info didn’t transfer over.

I love the system itself, it is very user friendly and ticks all the boxes. The support provided has been top notch and such a great experience. Highly recommend!
Inconvénients :
A very minor thing but I don’t the view on the calendar is only shown for the opening hours you set. I often book clients outside my operating hours, so I needed to see that.

I had not decision making ability. It was in place when purchased business. Would love to find something that integrates with scheduling and google

No manual. Have watched every video but their are things I can figure out. No integration with google. Inability to change confirmation email when appointment changed. Have to be very specific when searching. Hard to up load photos to treatment record

Review After Two Years of Use
Commentaires : On a scale of 1 to 10, the overall experience has been a 3.
Avantages :
It has served it's purpose for us as a brand new spa, however, as we grow we will need to move to a different EMR system that offers more features & functions.
Inconvénients :
Reporting functions do not exist - retention, pre-booking, etc Online booking function rarely works correctly There is no customer service number to call When charging for memberships there is no notification if a payment hasn't gone through There is no confirmation text unless a patient schedules online The character limit for SMS text is too low Consent forms don't always save properly Charting information doesn't always save properly There are a lot of issues with the online consent forms, and patients have difficulty accessing them
