En savoir plus sur Tave Studio Manager
Ce logiciel traite la gestion des entreprises de photographie avec des informations sur les clients, les réservations, le suivi des prospects, la gestion des tâches et des travaux.
Lots of flexibility and cost effective for what it offers. Tutorials offered have really assisted in setting it up and using the system.
I felt the setup was just TOO daunting. Unfortunately, we ended up going with another company because it didn't offer things such as email & calendar integration or appointments.

Backbone Of My Small Business
Commentaires : So far, so amazing!!! 10 steps ahead over the train-wreck that I had, so literally anything is better that what I was experiencing...
Avantages :
I have needed a CRM for my photography business that actually works. I had invested in an absolutely TERRIBLE software that had caused me nothing but problems ever since it was launched. A friend had told me about Tave and how amazing it was. A bit hard to set up and fairly complicated, but great nonetheless. I am not scared of complicated. Once it's set up, it's incredible. It has EVERYTHING I need to run all workflows needed for Wedding, Commercial, Event and Photo Booth, everything I do in my photography business!! It handles contracts with ease, it can set up automations for emails to go out at certain hours, it's just flawless. I can't rave about it enough.
Inconvénients :
It's not easy to set up, you have to have patience and reach out to support. But that's not a bad thing. Once you set it up, it's a well oiled machine. Trust the process and it will work!!!

Robust Software, A little too robust.
Commentaires : Overall, Tave served my studio well. As we streamline, grow and have a very niche market now, it's just not the right fit for us.
Avantages :
Tave is extremely robust and offers an exceptional experience when needing to detail all items of a client and the interactions with clients. The ability to follow breadcrumbs of issues back to the source is great as everything is time stamped and offers detail on actions taken.
Inconvénients :
Tave is difficult to navigate. It make even the smallest tasks take time and is very detailed down to what relationship the person has to the event or project. The mobile features are useless. It's such a large database and so robust, there is no app and trying to make the smallest of changes or updates on the go is completely too cumbersome. As a software aimed at photographers, this software was built for a corporation and is not ideal for Studios that range from 2-20 employees. It takes entirely too long to learn, train, use and update. I have been using it daily for years, so I became very proficient, but when compared to other options, this is a not the most pleasant user interface.

Great for photographers running a single person business
Commentaires : Ive been using it for years... my business has grown and I am looking at how to better use Tave to support my business growth.
Avantages :
Tave offers a clean interface and has useful automations for eliminating manual tasks. I has a solid lead capture and CRM aspect.
Inconvénients :
The accounting features are not compliant with GAAP - no way to do line item expenses etc... There is also very little way to relabel all the photographer oriented fields, making it a bit less relevant to other industries. There is also little ways to customize the looks unless you know CSS coding by hand.

Easy to use, affordable CRM software
Commentaires : All in one solution for the on the go production company.
Avantages :
This software is focused around small businesses and the ability to manage their day to day operations. Tave does a great job making it easy to use, plenty of integration of billing, tracking and presenting sales to clients. I used to use multiple companies for aspects of my company (billing, contracts, and sales), Tave allows me to have everything in a one stop shop that makes it easy for both myself and my clients.
Inconvénients :
The only con with this software, and its with any software for CRM software is I needed to commit to using it and transferring my existing clients to this system, which was fairly seamless compared to larger companies out there who either charge a larger annual cost or make it difficult to input existing data.

TAVE!!
Commentaires : The benefits far outweigh the beginning frustration with setting up.
Avantages :
It practically runs my business for me compared to anything else i've tried. I'm more of a creative and loath anything business wise. Once I learned how everything worked it became easier and more streamlined.
Inconvénients :
starting off was TOUGH....but i was admittedly lazy as far as watching tutorials and reading from the forums. I just wanted it all done for me. I still struggle.
My automated personal assistant!
Commentaires :
Some of the features Capterra says aren't available with Tave, are actually available on Tave such as:
- Calendar Management
- Reminders
- Discount management
- Availability management (new)
- Electronic payments (with integration only)
- Booking management
- Lead management
- Quotes/estimates
- Reporting/Analytics (a big one I use!)
- Task management
-Workflow management
-Activity Dashboard
I hope these are added so that people still deciding can have a fair comparison.
Avantages :
I love the automation because it saves me a lot of time. The templates for emails, contracts, quotes, and even workflow make the process from lead to closed client seamless. I love that you can send the client a quote that allows them to edit and see pricing adjust in real time. This saves us going back and forth via email/text about price adjustments. The reports are amazing especially during tax season when I need a profit/loss report, or to see how much revenue I brought it and expenses I made.
Inconvénients :
It's very robust. And it has a lot of features that you'd have to sit down and unpack on your own to experience Tave in its entirety.
A truly utilitarian tool, but does the job. better thank most.
Commentaires :
Tave provides functions nobody else does, in a simple, no-fuss package.
Sure, the package is a bit dated and awkward, but it's to be expected from software that crams as much utility into the package as Tave does.
I try and leave them constantly, but always end up coming back.
Avantages :
The ability to send any number of contracts Questionnaires and forms Vast product and package database functions with markup and options built in Google integration Calendar integration Stripe integration
Inconvénients :
I do sometimes wish that Tave looked and felt like some of the more modern CRMs out there. The interface can feel very clunky sometimes, but at the same time it gets the job done and I'd rather that than a bunch of fluff.
Very flexible and in constant developing - but not so easy to use
Commentaires : Tave studio manager is full of functionalities that are very useful for photography companies to have in one place. It is in constant development, and their customer support is GREAT, they are almost always available to chat with you and help you along the way. The only problem is, you most likely will be talking to them a lot, since the learning curve for using this software can be steep, and it can seem overwhelming at the beginning. Overall, I would recommend, since once you get a hang of it, you can do everything in one place and have control over your studio in a very real way.
Avantages :
The fact that I can customize it almost 100%. The dashboard, how I can see everything at a glance. Payment options and proposals that clients can book without me doing almost anything other than setting them up and sending and, the e-mails that can be scheduled and automated. Questionnaires! Having everything in one spot, that's what I like the most.
Inconvénients :
Can be difficult to use at first, needs many hours of figuring out things.. In other words, it could be easier.
*Almost* everything I need to manage my freelance editing business
Commentaires : I've been on the hunt for programs that can help me run my freelance editing business more efficiently. I've tried programs like 17 Hats and some other popular names, but they all lacked the level of customization I was looking for. This is where Tave shines. The ability to create custom tokens that can be used in contact forms, questionnaires, contracts, and email templates results in immense time-saving for routine tasks and enables me to keep all customer and project data in one very organised place. It's fantastic! The biggest drawback is that Tave does not allow you to use the quote feature without also using its invoicing feature. I'm a huge fan of Freshbooks, which is far superior in its features for invoicing and financial management, so I have no intention of switching that aspect of my business over to Tave. I'd really like to use Tave to send a quote and then send a Freshbooks invoice separately once the client accepts the quote. Not possible. Furthering the frustration is that not using Tave's quote feature disrupts some of the workflow automations and other Tave features, so its a real shame. So many other programs integrate with Freshbooks, even when they have some overlap in features, but Tave is unwilling to partner with Freshbooks and unwilling to alter the forced pairing of the quote and invoicing feature (I asked on both counts). Another small frustration is that the program is very targeted at photography businesses. Tave is a great help to many types of service-based businesses, so I wish they would make some aspects a little more generic and customizable for situations that do not pertain to photography businesses. I have found some bugs and had some confusion trying to work some things out, but when I sent a *long* list of questions to their customer support team, I received a mostly helpful reply, though not entirely. Even with the drawbacks, I'm still finding this system to be a huge help to my business. My hope is that it will improve over time.
By far the best!
Commentaires : Absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend.
Avantages :
I actually switched to Tave after using another studio management software. I was hesitant at first, even though it was more cost effective. Once I tried it, I immediately cancelled the one I had been with for years. I run EVERYTHING through Tave. It handles: My inquiries directly from my website My quotes / orders My contracts My billing My automated emails My questionnaires It’s so easy to use and customize. I have a truly branded experience with clients from start to finish. The way it keeps me on track with my workflow is phenomenal. Beyond happy.
Inconvénients :
Wish it had a scheduler! Wish it had a user permission level.
All our photography studio in one place
Commentaires : Overall optimisation of the company's processes. Time-saving, enhanced organisation.
Avantages :
What I like the most about this software? The fact that it helps me take care of practically every process in my photography business, and it just keeps evolving. I use this every day for lead tracking, contracts, payments, client questionnaires, e-mail automations and general book keeping. Since I started using Tavé, it has: - Added e-mail tracking and the ability to import my gmail e-mail threads into the corresponding jobs... - Given me the option to process payments with square at the cheapest rates in the market... - Changed the way it handles refunds making them easier to record. This keeps being build upon, so who knows what they'll add next. I love the fact that the support team ALWAYS answers and they are readily available from the chat windows, too.
Inconvénients :
It can be hard to master at first. Though the help tutorials and resources are quite easy to follow, Tavé can be intimidating to the new user. It does take a while to configure to your particular business needs, but in my opinion, this was all time that I got back in my everyday thanks to Tavé.
A beast of a CRM!
Commentaires : Honestly, it's really made the process automated. But it takes a really LONG time to get all the workflow set up. Automated tasks. The tokens. That stuff is tough to learn! but once it's set, it's honestly a beautiful thing.
Avantages :
So I use multiple CRMS for different clients. I use dubsado personally for myself. But for my client, she uses tave. it took me probably a good 3-4 months for me to learn how Tave worked. It is a BEAST of a CRM, but it's so robust. there are things that I wish other CRMs had. The automations. The workflows. The task lists. All really cut down on time.
Inconvénients :
The delay with Tave vs Google Calendar. OMG that is the bane of our existence. How long it takes to update! And why is there no tipping allowed? We would love for clients to be able to schedule their own consultations. but now we're using acuity as a secondary platform.
Has some major bonuses, and then some disappointing problems
Avantages :
Really good lead capture and processing Very suitable for photography Once you get the hang of it very practical
Inconvénients :
email system needs definate work with all emails needing to be sent through a third party system as they go straight to junk Needs integration with sms Not "going forwards" with nee features needed
A poor app is just.... a poor app.
Commentaires : I got to find out what I really need when selecting appropriate business software and what requirements to have towards a vendor.
Avantages :
Sample setup to get you started is provided... but ... the software never gets beyond the point of being basic.
Inconvénients :
Company attitude towards customers. Half-witted implementation of features. Abuse of community to provide support because the company refuses to properly organize that themselves in accordance with their alleged user base. Not-working APIs, unusable contact forms, Stripe payment gateway half implemented, client portal lacks too many features, complete absence of transparency. There is gmail integration, but contacts aren't synchronized. Calendar synchronisation to Google is unreliable, to outlook.com it isn't even working at all. On top of that support is given through a chat box from which you can not find statuses or results. As soon as season was over I quickly moved away and I do not regret the decision one single second..
Lots of set-up, but LOTS of possibility
Avantages :
We have all of our customer information in one place, and that makes our lives SO MUCH EASIER. I love that I can use Tave to email, store documents, send proposals, execute contracts, schedule shoots... and the list goes on. It's the ultimate hub for photographers. ALSO the customer service is top-notch.
Inconvénients :
Setting up your Tave is not for the faint of heart. It takes a lot of customization, but it has a big payoff. There are still a few glitches that come with a newer software, but we'll take them for the possibilities that come with Tave.
TAVE IS NOT FOR EVENT DESIGNERS(my view)
Commentaires : frustrated to a level that i am pulling my hairs as i have used it since 2017, paid for it, cannot seems to have any easy way to actually be able to use it.
Avantages :
full of features but not for a business owner who need time to run their business as well.
Inconvénients :
its not geared up for Event Designers and planners as the detailed features required for smooth running of our industry are just missing and even customer service is at base level with regards to understanding the pain point of our industry.
A bear to setup, easy to use post that
Commentaires : It's a great product, no doubt. But the support team, in my opinion, now are too lethargic to implement new features or rectify if have a problem. I have been having an issue with the email module for over a year, and it still hasn't been resolved.
Avantages :
It has some amazing features and functionality, that makes the product a breeze to use
Inconvénients :
It'll take ages to understand the features & how to adapt them. But once you know what they are, it's a breeze to use it.
Tave has made it easy to keep all of our business needs in one place.
Avantages :
Tave makes it easy to send contracts, questionnaires, and invoices to clients without the hassle of using multiple sources. Tave is great for tracking communication with clients, scheduling appointments, and sending me reminds when I need to complete different tasks. I am thankful for the ability to customize tave to my company's needs.
Inconvénients :
The setup process for tave takes quite a bit of time - from templates, to task scheduling, contracts and so on; but, this is to be expected with any CRM software. Tave could be better if there was a space to set tasks and to-dos that are not specific to a client or job. Because of tave lacking in this, we have to use another software for broad task management.
The best CRM for photographers and videographers
Commentaires : Just love Tave!! I exceptionally love their customer service support. Whenever you have questions or concerns with the app, they have a very fast turnaround time.
Avantages :
It's easy to use. It has really nice and detailed reports. It looks nice and clean, and it has really useful tools and it can easily be integrated to other software or apps.
Inconvénients :
Tave just probably need a one-click button that would allow you to download or backup everything on the CRM.
Photographers and Videographers are Drawn to this Software, but are Left Disappointed
Avantages :
My favorite things about this software are the questionnaire, invoicing, and contract features. If you're looking to use Tave as your CRM this is not the best choice.
Inconvénients :
My business partner and I have been using this software for over a year and use it almost every day. If you're using a software every day it better be flawless. Tave has a lot of issues. Like their classification for a person - they could be a lead, a contact, or something else completely. There categories are unhelpful and unorganized. Their task completion system also needs some help. You have to go through a minimum of 4 clicks to get anywhere on this platform and finally when you do you realize you have to do the same amount of actions for each individual client. It's tiring and needs some serious reevaluations.
Good tool for managing our studio
Avantages :
Overall, the UI is clean and it's easy to figure out/use. It does what it needs to do and does it well.
Inconvénients :
The reporting is really weak. If the software would allow the user to slice and dice the data, it would unlock so much more potential!
Tavé - Great for contracts and invoicing - Skip it for your CRM
Commentaires : Managing our wedding videography clients is so much easier now. We can easily send contracts, invoices, and even questionnaires to clients to be able to run our business smoothly as well as to receive feedback.
Avantages :
Tavé is a life saver when it comes to sending clients contracts, invoicing, and keeping up to date with when certain communications need to happen. The to-do's are set up easily for you, and editing contacts are extremely user-friendly. The section where you complete to-do's is not the more extravagant platform, but it gets the job done for small tasks or client projects.
Inconvénients :
I would never recommend Tavé to someone who needs a full-blown CRM platform. Inputting and managing contacts is done easily on this platform, but not if you want to schedule follow ups, keep track of client notes, or rate your progress with a potential lead. I've found that I've enjoyed using Agile CRM or Infusionsoft for more complex CRM needs.
Great Product (But Out of My Budget)
Avantages :
I love how robust the analytics are. I can see charts and graphs for multiple revenue streams, expenses, and lead sources. It also allows me to track every step of my job process to ensure every client gets the same great service.
Inconvénients :
I found the option to capture leads difficult to implement, so I had to enter them myself. Ultimately, the only major drawback for me was the price. Due to changes in my business, the monthly fee was out of my budget, and I had to switch to a competitor. I do feel that Tave gave me more features than the company I chose, however.
Great Studio Software for Creatives
Commentaires : Tave has helped me be more creative and work smarter by spending less time managing my clients and business. Can be confusing to setup if you are not dedicated to learning the software.
Avantages :
The many features and value that this software provides is great! It has helped my business run better and I find myself more productive.
Inconvénients :
Can be confusing and time consuming to set up.
Good Software
Avantages :
Have has many great feature such as automated emails and keeping all client information centralized, electronic signatures, and reporting.
Inconvénients :
Have has a steep learning curve but the how-to videos are very helpful. The software allows a client to sign contracts, questionnaires, and pay in one link but it lacks the ability a booking calendar. Tave also keeps emails sent in one place but incoming emails to do not tie back into Tave which can be very frustrating.
