Integral part of our business

Commentaires : inspHire makes a huge difference in our day to day running of the business, our working day is much more simple, it is an integral part of the way Blue Manta runs as a business.

Avantages :

The whole system is a pro, I wouldn’t be able to do my job without it, having all data in one place is a huge help to both me and the business. It meets all our needs as a company.

Inconvénients :

I would like to see further advancements in the workshop area of inspHire, however inspHire are working with us to make sure they can meet our requirements.

Great software and an Excellent Team

Commentaires : Since we moved to InspHire, the invoicing and asset management of hiring our plant equipment has become so much easier.
The system is intuitive and user friendly and allows us to effectively manage the user permissions in-house via the admin portal.
This is all backed up by a great customer support team and projects team always on hand to help and assist with any issues that crop up

Avantages :

An excellent system that we use to manage the hiring and off-hiring of our plant equipment over hundreds of sites across the UK The ability to integrate with Oracle R12 to simplify invoicing and asset management is the star of the show, as it allows us to automate tasks that would take hours of time to carry out manually The InspHire support team are also hard working and customer focussed and are always on hand to work with us to customise the system to our needs.

Inconvénients :

We've not really found any negatives to the software, other than importing multiple new assets to the system when we take on a new contract was initially very slow. But, after working with the InspHire Projects team, a solution was found to create batch imports via SQL, which removed this issue.

Slow, Awkward and buggy

Commentaires : The accounts department is the only part of the software that is more useful than the software we used previously as inspHire works with Sage Accounts

Avantages :

The search feature is quite good when searching for parts

Inconvénients :

The speed is attrocious, the reliability is ridiculus and overall I have used better functioning beta versions of software than this

7 years of using insphire in review

Commentaires : First few years were great, but since they were bought out service levels have just dropped through the floor. It's still a good product, but without basic bug fixing it's now a ticking timebomb. Processes we automated 5 years ago to save time have had to go back to manual because of problems with the software

Avantages :

Good contract management, very flexible and customizable. Resource and stock management have only improved over the years.

Inconvénients :

In 2018 Insphire was purchased by Kerridge Commercial Systems who over the next 12 months slashed the customer support and development team. Technical support is now frankly pathetic with critical issues taking months to resolve, compared to days in 2017. Fixes &New features documents with major releases used to be on the order of 120 pages of details, the latest versions have been more like 30 pages. I've not seen anything significantly added now in over 2 years, with long standing bugs known for the same length of time remain unfixed. I can only assume they are intentionally running it into the ground as their new parent company has their own rental software

InspHire Has It Covered

Commentaires : The InspHire software has enabled our business to easily track equipment on hire and stock sold, and keep on top of our maintenance system, therefore, reducing man hours spent completing and reviewing paperwork, and ensuring Sales Invoices for equipment hires and sales can be submitted to our clients in a timely manner, which, in turn, assists with cash flow.

Avantages :

The Invoice Run Preview Reports are easy to understand, even for non-users of the InspHire software, and the invoicing process is quick and efficient.

Inconvénients :

On occasions, the Reports produced by the InspHire software are not always sufficient for our business/clients, and any extra Reports required need to be tailored by the Technical Support Team.....at a cost!!!

inspHire has helped take our business to the next level

Avantages :

inspHire has provided the solution we needed to effectively and accurately manage all of the inventory within our ever-expanding business. From our initial inquiry, our account manager was incredibly helpful and answered all of our questions and concerns. The workshop module has helped us greatly. We're able to easily manage all our shop construction projects and tank maintenance.

Inconvénients :

Upgrading our rental software has been an incredibly large and time-consuming project. However, inspHire have been really accommodating, the implementation was smooth and manageable, with everything delivered on time.

Easy data input makes aspects of my job a lot easier

Avantages :

The way the system constantly updates information in all sections and areas relating to the information we input, makes it easier to carry out tasks and operations. It's a massive time saver.

Inconvénients :

You can select a customer and check on hire history, invoice history etc. But you cannot select a supplier and check on purchasing history from that supplier. When looking for information on an item purchased from a supplier, it can be a tedious process unless you have specific information such as contract number.

We've benefitted greatly from inspHire Mobile

Avantages :

inspHire has made our invoicing process much easier, even our customers noticed the improvement. Also, working on the go with inspHire Mobile has refined our daily operations, allowing us to provide consistently good service to our customers.

Inconvénients :

When amending a contract, the system can take longer than expected to load. Also, we occasionally have difficulties when exporting reports to Microsoft Excel.

inspHire makes my life so much easier

Avantages :

We had a terrible time with our previous system provider and had to work all over Christmas to just get the invoicing right. Since we implemented inspHire we have never have it so easy. It is simple use and to learn, all our staff can use it to get the information they need. The reports and information we get back is invaluable and helps with decision making on what equipment we need to invest in in the future. Our customers love the fact that they get served quicker and receive accurate invoices and reports. We love inspHire and would recommend it to anyone.

Inconvénients :

We are yet to experience any cons of using inspHire. As I said I would recommend inspHire to anyone

Second to none

Commentaires : I have used inspHire Office Edition in the Plant Hire world for 10 years and cannot speak highly enough of the software, the company and the people.

Avantages :

It is easy to install, configure and administer all aspects of inspHire. The HOP and SOP functionality is second to none and has always served the companies I have worked for very well. The seamless integration with Sage 200 is also a huge benefit and allows full transparency and reconciliation of stock and assets between both systems.

Inconvénients :

inspHire mobile needs to be a modular application where you can pay for what you want to use in the app not the whole thing. Other than that, I don’t really have any cons.

Software top, Customer support flop

Avantages :

Der Umfang der Software ist riesig und denkt unser Vermietungsgeschäft theoretisch hervorragend ab.

Inconvénients :

Implementationsprozess ist miserabel abgelaufen und zieht sich mittlerweile über 1.5 Jahre. Vieles wurde versprochen und wenig gehalten. Für den Preis der Software ein absolutes no-go. Eines können sie jedoch gut. Sich aus der Verantwortung ziehen und Rechnungen schreiben. Nach Ausgaben von über 50'000 CHF ist leider noch kein Ende in Sicht und die Kommunikation extrem zäh. Man hat den Eindruck man arbeitet gegen einander anstatt zusammen. Man muss alles selbst in die Hand nehmen, wenn man möchte, dass etwas passiert. Angefangen von der richtigen Arbeitsumgebung bis hin zu der Softwareinstallation mussten wir alles selbst machen. Performance ist auch nicht gerade die Stärke der Software. Es kann natürlich unserer Installationsvariante geschuldet sein aber eben man hat ja auch keine Hilfe erhalten. Wer sich dennoch für inphire entscheiden sollte muss unbedingt darauf achten, dass die wirklich jemanden damit beauftragen, der auch das Know-How dazu hat. Der Implementationsprozess wird sonst zum Albtraum.

Planning the installation is key

Commentaires : We were nervous converting from a manual system to a computerised system but our project manager worked closely with us to make sure that inspHire worked the way we work. As a company we have expanded steadily over the years and our inspHire installation has grown with us.

Avantages :

We chose inspHire as it seemed to be much more user friendly that other systems. After relatively little training, our staff have mastered the system and it is second nature to them. inspHire is a good company to work with. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and are genuinely interested in their customers.

Inconvénients :

The software is very comprehensive and contains a lot of functionality that we do not use and probably will never use.

Simple system that works well for our hire company needs

Avantages :

This is a fairly simple system to use, we do not use it too its full potential but it covers our needs with the basics.

Inconvénients :

Regularly has bug issues like the fact that it regularly doesn't print to our printer and we have to restart the system, customer service is ok, but everything has a cost attached.

Corporate is a Fantastic ERP System for the Hire Business

Avantages :

inspHire is a great tool for our Hire business. It is highly configurable with lots of modules and features that can be fine-tuned to our specific requirements. It’s easy to use for our users and easy to maintain and configure for system admins.

Inconvénients :

The product would benefit hugely from a review of the available modules and features. Some of the features can’t be used if the system is configured a certain way, which means that not all customers get all the benefits based on how they use the system. With some more focus in this area, inspHire has the potential to excel.

inspHire has greatly imporved the way we work

Avantages :

We can now track our assets and access customer information incredibly quickly. From the hire desk we now have a hub of information that allows us to easily answer customer queries at the touch of a button. Our key customers love the 'what's out where' report!

Inconvénients :

The project turned out to be bigger than i think either side expected and so the implementation process wasn't as smooth as we thought it would be. However, as soon as problems were spotted they were rectified pretty quickly.

Easy to use Hire Software

Commentaires : Insphire has served us well for over 10 years, needs a bit of modernising now but otherwise great software.

Avantages :

Easy to use and user friendly. Good for purchasing and stock control and hire. Served us well for sales also, just missing a decent back order option.

Inconvénients :

Main restriction for us has been the fact that we cannot access it online. Particularly through Covid this proved quite frustrating. I think it is possible with an add on but quite an upheaval and extra cost so we didn't go with this option.

I dislike office based work, so my only con would be it is computer based which I suppose software of this nature has to be!

Helped us to be more organized

Avantages :

We are a rental yard. Therefore, I use the software on a daily basis to keep everything organized. It is easy to move around and find what you need within the software.

Inconvénients :

One thing I would change about the software would to be able to open and close the month end. I can’t process PO’s until I am done with the month end to make sure the Month expenses are recorded properly on stock costs. It would be nice to close toggle between the two months. An easier way to put in a set price on a rental item without having to go to detail lined would be useful. I would like to be able to change the rate on the contract line based on user access.

Probably good for huge businesses..but there's better out there

Commentaires : Had to switch to another software due to multiple issues and no help from their customer service. Not tailored specifically as an asset management system for event/audiovisual companies so some workarounds needed.

Avantages :

Detail and flexibility, range of features if set up correctly

Inconvénients :

Difficult to set up and use, customer service very poor, probably due to the size of our business. Server based, I prefer cloud based

Avantages :

The software is incredibly easy to use and you can quite easily tack where your equipment is and where it has been. It's been a great addition to our business during a period of expansion. On the odd occasion I have needed help, the inspHire helpdesk were great.

Simple & easy to use

Avantages :

The simplicity but also the detail. I mainly like the easy hire contract page because it is easy to navigate and has all the right boxes needed for my job. From there I can easily create paperwork for my company’s drivers.

There Isn’t anything I can think of that I like the least

Great package and system

Commentaires : We imported our hire contracts to the Inpshire software last year the transfer and set up was very easy and straightforward, with lots of advice and help given. The system is very easy to use and user friendly. After using a different hire software previously, Inpshire is definitely the best and easiest to use!

Customer service/ help can be slow at responding and slow at actioning issues raised.

Clinical Trial Management

Commentaires : As an organisation who manages around 10,000 pieces of rental equipment (plus consumables) for Clinical Trials, we work in a very demanding environment. InspHire allows us to track everything for our customers and manage their global clinical trials successfully. It also gives our staff confidence to respond to enquiries knowing that the information in InspHire is in real-time and organised in a user-friendly manner. Our invoicing process has been cut from a 2 week process to a ten minute run now we have automated it, and errors have been reduced significantly saving us money in the long run. We have faced a few challenges in tailoring it to our specific needs, but InspHire's staff have worked hard to understand our business model and suggest how we can gain additional benefits from the software. It is good to know that when upgrading to a new version that our customisations come with us - something not always the case in other software. After 30+ months of use, I have no doubt we could no-longer manage without InspHire.
