Excellent Software
Avantages :
-B2B sales team/integration support was excellent -Authoricheck is genius -Number of review templates is great for using for different departments within the org. -Very easy to use software = very effective software
Inconvénients :
-Standalone product, would be nice to be able to integrate with some of our other solutions -Auto-save feature while typing would be nice

Reviewsnap Pros and Cons
Commentaires : We are very new to using Reviewsnap. We are just finishing up our very first review cycle with the software. Our contract said we would be trained as administrators but I do not really feel like that occurred. Basically a person from your company just clicked through screens and told us (very quickly) what they do when we first signed on the dotted line....but most people do not learn well from that method. I am more of a doer myself. Also, we were told that Reviewsnap implementation rep would build everything but again, that isn't entirely true...I spent a significant amount of time customizing and testing before we went live and our rep had nothing to do with that work. Part of that was because we were also needing to rebuild our performance review process to transition to paperless...but I felt very alone in that work and learned a lot the hard way through mistakes and making corrections. Our HR department could have never done this work for themselves...they do not have an IT background like I do. If I had not been involved in this project with them, I am not sure our review instruments and approval path would have been very good.
Avantages :
For the most part, our users like Reviewsnap. They feel that it is relatively intuitive, especially since the latest updates were implemented in May 2020. The automated email reminders at very nice and save our HR a lot of headaches.
Inconvénients :
Some parts of the template builder are messy. I would like to see a naming convention be recommended or some perhaps required to make it easier for us to find competencies and to know which sections and positions those competencies are linked to across the organization. The approval processes have way too many button clicks...these processes need to be streamlined for sure! We chose to only have the acknowledgement step this year so that our supervisors and staff would not get frustrated with this Software right out of the gate.

Reviewsnap- a well designed and balanced performance management tool for matured organization
Commentaires : Overall, Reviewsnap is a good and effective performance management tool for a matured organization but may need to develop the product offering more competitive
Avantages :
a. Very secure software and login though only Okta/ single sign in methods to terminate any multiple sessions b. Well integrated with other performance/ HR related tools like bonusly, Hi bobs etc. without any issues c. Very well designed dashboard for user experience for OKR/ goal setting and tracked with timelines d. Push notification enables to remind anything due and approaching e. Customer service team is very effective and happy to help
Inconvénients :
a. There is no or little AI deployed here where in today's world its almost a necessity b. There is no free trial when I experienced it. It was a blind decision for an organization.
Reviewsnap - Just okay
Commentaires : Since I only have a need to use this software once a year, I don't think I can be too much of a critic. It works for how I need it, which is all I can really ask for!
Avantages :
I like that it's an easy way to submit my personal review to our HR team, and I like that I have a place to collect my thoughts on my personal achievements throughout the year. I also appreciate that I can input positive emails and comments that were said about me by my coworkers throughout the year.
Inconvénients :
The system is a bit clunky. It seems like it could use an update! It's not totally clear where to go for certain things (so much so that our HR department had to create a Reviewsnap guide that we can refer to when it's time to submit our annual reviews because they received too may questions).
Reviewsnap lives up to its name.
Avantages :
As a small organization with many staff who frequently travel, we sought a system that was simple, intuitive and available 24/7. We reviewed many systems, big and small and almost settled on a product, but then found out about Reviewsnap. Both vendors gave us access to test environments where we were able to compare coverage, ease of setup and get a sense of the training required. Reviewsnap won hands down - very easy to set up, minimal training required, and all our priority requirements - fairly standard - were covered in their product. Employee profiles and job descriptions, competency and other review sections with lots of flexibility for overall design, ratings, comments, option to select from stock examples or use our own; integrated ongoing management of work and professional development goals, a great 'journaling' feature for keeping track of accomplishments through the year or for giving kudos to colleagues; automated notifications for deadlines and digital signatures. If users do need help, there is a small, onsite set of user manuals, workflow diagrams, etc. We added links to our performance review policies, etc on our Reviewsnap "Welcome page". Once our own system was set up, our Reviewsnap rep trained the 2 groups (employees/supervisors) via short webcast and the recordings are now permanently available to walk new staff through the site in under 10 minutes. Most notably, our customer service rep (same person over the last 3 years) has been absolutely exceptional. Her turnaround time is usually within a couple hours, responses are always helpful, short and and to-the-point, and if another service department is ever needed, she coordinates that. I also very much appreciated working through the trial period with a company that allowed us to work at our own pace without pressuring us to make a quick purchase. That flexibility helped assure we had the time needed to select the right product. Reviewsnap listens to their customers and keeps improving the product without inflating the cost.
Inconvénients :
It's very minor, and the only reason I give them one "9" below, but the last couple steps involve a hand-off of the review and then initiating final approvals and signatures. Some staff have neglected to complete the last couple steps that officially close off the review, and we would just find it helpful to have the system keep notifying staff, after a reasonable amount of time has elapsed, that they're not done yet, and remind them what steps they need to do to officially close the review. If nothing else, staff will eventually discover their lapse when they try to begin a new review and are unable to. If the system helped prompt them to close out the review, it would just avoid their being confused when they try to begin a new one.
Poor Experience
Commentaires : The first experience was good but all since have been negative. I'm sure they're great to some clients but that was not what I've received.
Avantages :
The UI was difficult to use last year so I was very excited to see they were upgrading the platform. The new platform looks like it'll be great, so it's too bad I won't get to use it.
Inconvénients :
I understand that not everyone has had the same experience as me, but I've been extremely unimpressed with ReviewSnap. We were told that our review timeline was able to be accommodated by an upcoming system upgrade. I asked the rep whether we could have it up and running for a mid-November start and she assured me we could. I told her I would reach out a week or two later to let her know we were ready to upgrade. She said this was ok. Fast forward 2 weeks. I emailed her to let her know we were ready and then didn't get a response until 10 days later. By this time all of the upgrade slots were full. I was told that I would be updated when we moved up. I then had to reach out on two separate occasions to see what our status was, each time being told that "we were in the queue". My second email this morning was given the exact same response: "you're in the queue". This second email also said that they think they could get me a slot in mid-October to mid-November, but couldn't guarantee it. At no point in this process has anyone from ReviewSnap reached out to me update me or try to give me an answer without me reaching out first. They have not been a partner and have certainly not made me feel like we were spending our money wisely. For me personally they've taken the route of replacing customer service with apologies. We have asked to be taken off the upgrade list since we will not be renewing. Maybe now someone can finally get a slot.
Winning Results
Commentaires : We have been a ReviewSnap client for several years and are continually impressed with the excellent customer service and ease of use of the software. As a non-profit, cost is also a huge factor and the annual contract is not only affordable, but is guaranteed to not increase once you sign up.
Avantages :
Our supervisors love the fact that that they can easily select ratings for their team and receive suggestions to add commentary. As the system admin, I love the fact that I can easily import new staff to the the database and create ad-hoc reports.
Inconvénients :
The only con is the finalization process - it would be nice to obtain final signature and not have to go back in to finalize.
Our company has been a user for over 5 years. The ease of use and customer service have been great.
Avantages :
Ease of use and ability to adapt to our specific need. Making changes to the form is usually pretty simple and user friendly.
Inconvénients :
Difficulty in setting up a quarterly review with the same ease as the annual review. But I understand that the team has been working on making this possible.
ReviewSnap Review
Commentaires : Would recommend to any company that would like a review system that is easy to use and reasonably priced.
Avantages :
Ease of use. I Like that you can customize your own templates with competencies and specific tasks. Like the email notifications of upcoming reviews and notifications when completed. Customer support is very good. They respond quickly. Love that they listen to their customers and actually do incorporate updates based on reasonable requests versus rolling out annual or semi-annual upgrades. As it relates to passwords, I like that as Administrator, I can re-set forgotten or locked passwords and that the users can choose and re-set their own. I love that you don't have to re-set them every 60-90 days.
Inconvénients :
Can't show you the date the review was completed in the review status report. You have to view the completed review to find it.
Better than before!

Avantages :
ReviewSnap was introduced to all employees at our company about a year ago. Before it was implemented, we just had an in-house system that was clunky and difficult to use. The review process is much more streamlined now. All of the documents are in one place. Much better than the old system.
Inconvénients :
I haven't gotten to know it well enough to find any wrinkles. Doing my first review on the system has been pretty flawless.
Easy to use

From my experience, the ReviewSnap interface is clean and simple. It's been easy to use and navigate when adding goals, comments and signing off on my year end review.
Inconvénients :
Although the interface is simple, it's not as visually appealing as I think it could be. It's very plain.
They have an excellent product that is very customizable.

Avantages :
Great customer service, very customizable product, easy to administer. The reports are easy to use and customize to provide excellent data. We are able to drill down into who hasn't completed reviews or journal entries very easily. Their customer support is excellent. We have always been able to get the information and answers we need, often very easily.

Commentaires : I love RS customer service. They have far and above delivered in this arena. I enjoy the simplicity of the UI. However, I am a visual person - would love to see graphics of where an employee or manager is in the cycle of a review (timeline for example - "you are here") There are moments where I feel customization are limited. I wish docs would auto save. I wish I couldspell check once w/o having to toggle through various screens.

Reviewsnap is working on a new user interface and as part of that interface you will see more graphics to indicate which step, or how far along, they are in the processes. We will also be adding auto-save to the system, so anytime a rating, comment, or a change is made it will automatically save.
Reviewsnap is a great product and customer service is top-notch!
Avantages :
Reviewsnap is very user-friendly and customizable. What I liked best is that we were able to work with the Reviewsnap implementation team to create exactly what we needed and what worked for the organization. In addition, the 360 and compensation module came with the service. Reveiwsnap handled all of the training at our HQ office and our multiple field offices. There were no hidden costs.
Inconvénients :
The multiple screen options were a little difficult for us to get used to. Sometimes you have to dig a little before finding exactly what you need.
Reviewsnap for Annual Employee Reviews
Avantages :
I like that this product keeps a record of annual reviews and has a systematic process for companies to use for consistency in the review process.
Inconvénients :
It seems somewhat cumbersome to change questions for each type of employee and/or for a 90 day review process versus an annual review process.
Customer focused
Commentaires : Apart from being an excellent easy to use off-the-shelf product, ReviewSnap excel in customer service and that is what makes this product a package to rely on. from experience, any issues were dealt with within the day. What I consider also a plus, is that request for customisation is possible obviously at a fee. One of the issues that we faced was that the system does not have an audit trail. A question that was raised by internal Audit. However, considering the fact that the workflow of the process is very straight forward, not having an Audit trail did not effect on our decision to select this product.
Review Snap Performance Eval System
Commentaires : I would highly recommend this project to anyone who wants to streamline and simplify their review process and is on a tight budget.
Avantages :
Review Snap was very reasonably priced for the functionality it provides. It is simply designed and fairly easy to train users on. The customer service team at Review Snap is reponsive, patient and helpful. Customer service is Review Snap's forte!
Inconvénients :
We've encountered some minor glitches with the program--nothing major, and, the programmers have been great about making changes that customize the product in terms of our review process.
Gets the Job Done
Avantages :
I think it got the job done in terms of reviewing myself, getting reviews from other people, etc.
Inconvénients :
I wasn't able to edit parts of my account (e.g., photo, etc.), but that might have been because the administrator prevented me from doing so.
Reviewsnap Software
Avantages :
The product is able to be modified to suit our needs. Reviewsnap has beyond excellent customer service. They are there to assist you with any questions at any time. They are very responsive and have a strong desire to exceed your expectations.
Inconvénients :
I really can't say that I have anything. One enhancement would be to be able to fully integrate with our HRIS system; however, the ability to download/upload data negates that.
New Customer
Commentaires : We had been conducting reviews in house, without any formal systems in place for email reminders, status updates, etc. I took my wish list to ReviewSnap along with my implementation date and the team has been great! I even recommended them to a friend of mine for their business needs.
Avantages :
Budget friendly, not overly complicated - user-friendly In system alerts and status. Comparison of self-review/mgr review. Ability to take notes, give praise, etc throughout the year Customer service, Realistic timetables.
Inconvénients :
A database of sample templates to choose from or compare to.

Commentaires : This software is exceptionally designed. We previously used paper reviews and wanted something that was easy to use. As an administrator, you can see exactly where all reviews stand to move the process along, or whatever may be necessary. You can allow as little or as much control to any role given. The customer service is excellent and prompt. We are very pleased with this product and highly recommend it to anyone.

Have some issues with version control and finding active forms. Forms disappear or self and manager reviews combine when we don't want them to.

I have been using RS for about 4 years now.
Commentaires : I wish that there was an easy to follow workflow component. Many times, managers leave reviews incomplete simply because the status of an incomplete review is not in front of their face. I would also recommend more customization options. I would also recommend additional reporting features that allow you to gather aggregated statistics.
Our company (16 employees) has used this software for our last 2 semi-annual reviews.
Commentaires : System setup was relatively quick and easy. Initial training provided was well done and useful. The processes of handing off reviews from employee to supervisor and obtaining signatures, etc. is not intuitive and has led to some confusion for many of the staff. The system should provide more help information on the various screens.
