It is a highly tailored and customized solution which helps in inventory management and activity tracking in best possible manner. The tracking procedure is quick and hassle free. The reporting and dashboard analytics through inbuilt reporting templates works best for us and is real time without any lag. It works 24/7 without any slow down.

Avantages :

Easy asset tracking solution for businesses. The interface is easy to handle and manage. No hassle or trouble faced in operation till date. Cloud based asset tracking system is reliable and is widely used across different kinds of businesses. Asset tracking is easiest than ever with few clicks and all your valuable assets are monitored completely end to end. It is absolute trouble-free method of tracking assets with quick audits. All activity tracking is done seamlessly and no issue occurs at all. Barcoding and RFID process helps in complete tracking of assets and shipments end to end with complete life cycle tracking without any lapse.

Inconvénients :

No problem as such. Though, we still feel that more user subscription can be added in reduced pricing. Also, more extended trial versions with advanced features is much appreciated. The disposal management and reporting and analytics should be further strengthened as we still face some breakdowns and slow functioning often during operations. Slight reduction in pricing of the subscription can be really helpful and will attract more new users and clients.

User Friendly

Commentaires : We have been able to reduce overspending and utilize the materials we have on hand.

Avantages :

I like that I can quickly view each multi-quantity asset's location throughout our organization on one page.

Inconvénients :

I wish the checkout transaction forced the user to enter the "Move To Location" because most of my users forget where it should be when checking the item in.

Asset Cloud Review

Commentaires : Asset cloud has allowed us to maintain all of our assets and view the data accompanying those. Overall the platform is very beneficial.

Avantages :

I like the search bar, and reporting options/customizations available.

Inconvénients :

Some of the software seems to not work as smoothly as it should. Example: when checking out an asset and assigning a due date, you must add the asset to the queue and then re-click the record and add the date. Why not just have the due date available without extra steps.

AssetCloud brings order to chaos of inventory

Avantages :

AssetCloud is easy to implement. We had the previous version MobileAsset. We upgraded to AssetCloud a few years ago. Easy to use. It basically manages itself

Inconvénients :

The reports could be better. The reports often gives me either too much or too little information. Often when I run a report I have export it to Excel to tweak it.

AssetCloud is On Track

Avantages :

I like adding an entire Freshman Class all at once. Mass importing of data helps a LOT.

Inconvénients :

Setting up label printing was the most painful part of the process. Thankfully, once it's done, it shouldn't need to be revisited. Unfortunately, one software update hosed our printing. Thank goodness for the Service people. We were quickly back on the air.

IT Asset Tracking

Commentaires : Helps out IT department in tracking every equipment that is rolled out to users and on every conference rooms. A lot easier to manage and lookup all assets in our inventory

Avantages :

Straight forward and simple. Easy to navigate when entering new inventories. The mobile app is a plus when doing floor by floor inventory tracking.

Inconvénients :

Most of the time a bit slow running on PC when searching for assets.

AsstCloud works great for us!

Commentaires : AssetCloud is the best tool we've found to serve our multiple requirements for our pool of assets (sales demonstration, tech support, and rentals, also depreciation and calibration tracking)

Avantages :

We use AssetCloud to track thousands of assets spread all over the company. These assets are used for sales demonstrations, tech support, and also rentals. The check-out and check-in functions make it simple to move items and keep track of where they are, and when they're due to be returned. We also use the depreciation utility to calculate depreciation each month, and track current book value.

Inconvénients :

In a previous version, we used the "parent/child" asset relationship tool. It was only recently added back to the AssetCloud version. I would like to have the view option to see "Top level assets only" in the main list views. Regarding initial set up, it takes time and patience to upload an existing database. Care must be taken to have upload files properly formatted and uploaded in the correct order. But that's the world of relational databases!

Morin Review of Wasp Assett Cloud

Commentaires : We are finally able to do something with our inventory. Check in and out computers and chroembooks and track them. Its been a learning process in setting it up the way we want.

Avantages :

I liked that we got all the equipment we needed including printers etc and the support to aid in setup and further issues was excellent.

Inconvénients :

I would like that when I use the import tools to bring in more assets that it would give a warning if the tag numbers (asset numbers) were already in use. I have had several times on accident that I built my import file and accidently had asset tags I already used and it simply overwrote all the asset info. NO Prompting that they were already in the system. That would have queued me something was amiss (unless I knew I was updating assets) One feature I wish it had was the ability to create an asset template that could have a bardcode that represents everything about the assett so I could then simply scan the new barcode and serial number and it would allow me to easily add many at the same time. (example I buy 100 chromebooks off same PO, same model, etc and the only difference is the serial number and the asset tag that will be assigned. It would be nice to be able to preprint the asset tags and apply them then scan the asset template barcode followed by the SN and Asset tag on each of them. I have to build an CSV file to do this each time.

Worth the time to learn

Avantages :

It's a pretty robust tool, to be honest. I like the physical tag integration, the options for specifying geographical area/section for the item, and of course having the serial # as part of this as well. With a great deal of "work from home" happening in light of the pandemic, we used to have a lot of hardware "go missing" or "get misplacaed". You want to think the best of people, but in a business environment you have to protect yourself and the company. Having something tangible to point to is a very valuable tool that can circumvent many awkward situations, related to possession of said item. With proper implementation set into motion, being able to scan in (with a mobile phone even) hardware on-site in front of the user lets them know we are keeping track of the item. This works as a powerful deterrent to theft in many cases. A lot of the flexibility for how to tag and the organizational options in AssetCloud are great. I've been around systems that are literally just a list and that's it...things that are tagged with a few text characters at best. The fields for keeping things organized makes the tracking much easier and helps me keep on schedule for the rest of my day.

Inconvénients :

Right off the bat, I wouldn't say it's impossible to pick up (it's not like learning to script or do SQL), but you'll need to study up some to get things the way your organization/company wants them done. Fortunately, we had a representative from WASP do a Zoom call and walk us through some of it. That helped whittle down the mountain a bit, but any new system can be intimidating. This is a very soft con, as it's a common occurrence with any new system.

AssetCloud

Avantages :

The ability to print labels that have a scannable barcode along with relevant information such as device type, serial number and a unique asset number that links it to much more information such as purchase order history, date of purchase, date inventoried, and activity log, makes inventory management much easier. Having a interface where all that information is readily available for many devices saves time and makes any issues with inventory much simpler to resolve. Most of all, it isn't very complicated to add devices to the software.

Inconvénients :

The interfaces could be more stream-lined, it could be that I haven't had enough time to get comfortable with the software, but I end up digging through several different panels such as transactions or maintenance to do a task such as add an employee to a site, or update site location. Again, I may have simply not had enough practice with the software, but if there was anyway to add shortcuts for heavily used features, I add employees daily as well as edit site locations, that would be helpful.

Asset Cloud Review

Commentaires : Ease to navigate and the structure of the menu is well organized. The mobile version needs some improvement. For example when scanning an asset tag, there is no way to find the assigned field. I believe that this is important if you are on the go and scanning products with the phone.

Avantages :

The feature that we like the most is the import tool. It was great to see new additions as to what we can mass import. I believe the templates are self explanatory and easy to fill.

Inconvénients :

My only concern is when uploading the check-in template because sometimes we received the success screen but in the end some of the devices are not being checked in. This issue happened several times and often when I do mass check in, I. have to go back and make sure everything is correct.

Small Company

Commentaires : I have used the local Asset Management (ver 6 and 7) and preferred it in some aspects, like having a local copy of the DB available in the event of an internet outage. The cloud ver is overall easy to use and I have seen gui improvements in the last year. The iOS app has improved since its first inception but needs a little work in the processing speed.

Avantages :

It is easy to use once you learn where all of the items are. The reporting ability is decent and simple to use with the canned reports.

Inconvénients :

The Mass Update options are limited and having to check items in to move and then check back out when a custodian is moving from jobsite to jobsite. The default labels also do not work well in the environment of mechanical maintenance where grease and chemicals are used.

A great product

It helps build a system of tracking all of the assets together and making sure things are being serviced appropriately

There is a lot of features that are not so intuitive, but are very powerful when specifically trained on how to use them

Complete and easy to use Asset Management System

Commentaires : We needed an Inventory System and after months looking we found AssetCloud. After using for 2 months we realize the possibilities were immense and we started tracking more than just assets and locations, we included the Finance Department to track depreciation, etc. Now we are deploying this system to the rest of the offices in the USA and soon will be Europe, rest of Americas and Asia.

Avantages :

You can start tracking assets in 15 minutes, easy to deploy and setup. Having mobile apps is a huge help. Very solid report system.

Inconvénients :

Having so many features and being able to change the whole system to whatever you want can be scary if you want to do it in one day.

Wasp AssetCloud

Avantages :

I liked the ease of use in creating barcode labels

Inconvénients :

As we were faced with budget cuts, we were asked to find another product for less money and the ability to scale outside of how our Game Room was using it.

Great IT Asset Management Program for a Construction Company

Commentaires : We are tracking all of our computers, monitors, networking equipment and peripherals through AssetCloud, and it has so far been a great experience. Especially from a year end Auditing and Accounting perspective, it has been great to run a report, see what we have and what is assigned to who, and then be able to verify each asset and current usage/location. We have barcode stickers on all of our assets, and it makes for a quick and easy visual verification to know if the asset I'm looking at is in our database or not.

Avantages :

An Excel spreadsheet will work for tracking assets, but this is much better! We appreciate being able to see all of our assets--along with all their pertinent details and who they are assigned to--in an easy to use interface.

Inconvénients :

When first using the program, search criteria or filters sometimes seemed to get "stuck", and it seemed to be cumbersome to get back to a fresh search. It took some trial-and-error to figure out how to properly clear filters.

Great asset to any company.

Avantages :

This program provides me with a great database to track and maintain information on the company's asset management. It also provides a tool to collaborate with Network Support and Facilities to ensure all items where accountable.

Inconvénients :

There was really nothing that I did not like about the software. Please purchase.

Robust and Adequate

Commentaires : The ability to track and check in/out gear to employees has been the most beneficial feature and the reason for the software's longevity within our company.

Avantages :

Having a functioning check in / check out system has been pivotal in our company's struggles against loss. AssetCloud has been a monumental help in achieving a better ability to track and get back our gear. Great system for our needs!

Inconvénients :

I believe the software could use some work in the way it integrates with itself. There's a lot of separate screens, and separate reports that could easily be grouped into one.

AssetCloud Review

Commentaires : We're content with AssetWasp, however it does have a few things it needs to work out that, until then, makes the use of the program frustrating at times. It gets the job done though.

Avantages :

It's pretty simple to setup and get going. It's also fairly easy to use once you learn how the various features function.

Inconvénients :

What I least like about AssetCloud is that it seems that every time an update is rolled out, it resets the view of the assets page. On the assets page, you can organize the view by arranging fields in your preferred order, and you can select which fields are visible as one can customize AssetCloud to be granular with the amount of asset details. When an update to AssetCloud is deployed, the saved view of the asset page is reset and you have to reorganize everything all over again.

Asset Cloud Review

Commentaires : The customer service team at AssetCloud has been awesome. We had issues with our barcode at the beginning and it took maybe 10 minutes for an employee to help us and fix the issue.

Avantages :

I love that I have all the assets in one place and that it brings order to something that could be easily be a huge mess. I also like the location function of the system which is very helpful for when customers bring back materials.

Inconvénients :

The thing I like the least about this software is the search bar. I can’t simply type in key words from the assets I’ve put in to find them. I either need the asset tag or know the location of the asset. This is not always practical and can be frustrating and time consuming.

Biospecimen Repository Management

Commentaires : Overall it's been a very positive experience working with Asset Cloud. Whenever we did run into problems the customer service team was able to help right away and sort out any problems.

Avantages :

Once we figured out the search capabilities it became so much easier to use. We used a different wasp asset management system, so there was a bit of a learning curve even between products both from WASP

Inconvénients :

Sometimes the cloud aspect of it causes lags that are difficult to deal with. Additionally setting up labels is not as intuitive as I wished.
