Commentaires : C'est un produit facile d'utilisation, fiable et efficace. Les utilisateurs sont protégés. Le point le plus important : depuis que nous utilisons Bitdefender, jamais nous avons eu à gérer un problème de malwares dans le système d’information.

Avantages :

C'est un EDR de grande qualité que nous installons chez nos clients. L'intégration dans les systèmes d’information les plus complexes se passe toujours bien. Aucune interférence avec d'autres logiciels pour le moment et pas de blocage de logiciels légitimes. Il s'installe rapidement, dans tous mes environnements . La qualité de la protection est très bien. Tous les modules travaillent de concert et l'utilisateur est protégé .

Inconvénients :

L'interface de gestion reste austère malgré les efforts d’amélioration. Les informations transmises dans l'interface de gestion est par moment incomplète .

Commentaires : Le suivi avec la console cloud est très pratique et permet de nombreuses actions à distance, parfaites pour un responsable IT.

Avantages :

Bitdefender GravityZone est un vrai produit de sécurité professionnel. Il va bien au-delà du simple anti-virus. Il bénéficie de fonctions comme le pare-feu et la gestion des connexions. Il permet un filtrage précis des postes utilisateurs pour s'assurer que chacun utilise le réseau selon ce qu'il lui est permis.

Inconvénients :

La version Advanced, qui permet la sécurisation des appareils portables, n'est pas utilisable avec la console cloud et doit donc être utilisé sur une console fixe. Mais il parait que cela devrait changer l'année prochaine.

Commentaires : Bitdefender is a great tool that gives us confidence that our data is safe when our partners browse the internet and download large databases to work with. Its price is low compared to the benefits it provides.
I really recommend this product especially for SMEs and personal use.

Avantages :

The most valuable features that our team like are those related to the anonymous and safe browsing. Bitdefender is also easy to use and automatically reduce its resources usage when you are working.

Inconvénients :

I would really like this product was faster when analyze our systems. Usually it can take until 9 hours and this process has a great impact in our resources performance.

One of the best AVs out there

Commentaires : As an MSP, we have been using Bitdefender for over 2 years now. It sends emails to our monitoring team to notify us of potential events so that we can respond as needed. No need to stare at a dashboard to monitor endpoints. It integrates with our RMM well and is extremely customizable based on our clients' individual needs.

Avantages :

I can set it and forget it. Monitoring made simple. Integrates with other tools well. Can easily automate installation.

Inconvénients :

It is VERY protective by default, but is easily configurable to fit the needs of the endpoint.

A great endpoint security solution but not easy to manage

Commentaires : Overall it was positive, because it is a powerful and effective endpoint security solution, however, as an IT Engineer it was hard to manage and maintain.

Avantages :

I like how effective it is against threats of various natures. It is without a doubt a powerful solution for any company, big or small.

Inconvénients :

It is not easy to manage. We had bitdefender management platform installed inside our on-prem infrastructure, and while it worked great, managing endpoints, creating and managing policies is a complex endeavour and not intuitive at all. Also, it may be trivial to some, but scheduled scanning while active tends to use quite a chunk of system resources slowing down the computer significatly during active operations.

Affordable Business Security perfect for SMBs

Commentaires : This was my first foray into setting up a SMB Internet Security program, and as such there was a pretty steep learning curve for me to figure out what the do's and don'ts of setup are. However, once it was set up it very much takes care of itself with minimal interaction from me. I occasionally have to whitelist certain things, or adjust a couple of settings here and there, but for the most part we've been running it for a little over three years with no incidents.

Avantages :

Once it is set up, GravityZone takes a very hands-off approach to Internet Security. It was easy to install and it updates regularly without having to manually push updates. It is a large program, but it doesn't use a ton of system resources, which is great because some of our hardware is older.

Inconvénients :

Initial setup was a bit complicated. I had to contact them a few times in order to get all my bearings with the program.

Simplified, not simple security tool

Commentaires : Very easy to get running with very little issues. I don't actually know how much it's doing, but my business has yet to have any attacks!

Avantages :

It's easy to get going, but also has the nitty gritty depth and controls an admin wants. I wasn't that versed in IT security software, but when we switched it was very easy to purchase, distribute, and get going. It's almost set it and forget it after that if you don't make any changes.

Inconvénients :

There are some features that get disabled at different tiers that seem arbitrary or were available and no longer are at the low tier. When this happens, the clients think they should still have the feature and start throwing security risk messages.

Excellent business antivirus solution

Commentaires : I have used Bitdefender for several years both for my internal computers and also for all of my clients. I manage endpoints via the gravity zone online portal when it comes to deploying new devices and managing existing ones.

Avantages :

I love how functional Bitdefender is, how it will run on client devices with minimal impact or disruption to the client and also how wasy it is to deploy and manage endpoints from a centralised portal.

Inconvénients :

I sometimes find the dashboard complicated and sometimes things are hard to find such as when I am trying to exclude a file from scanning modules or temporarily disable antivirus protection on a particular endpoint.

Good security with one package

Avantages :

Easy to set up for small, medium or big teams. Decent dashboard for team management. Cost effective subscription plans.

Inconvénients :

With Bitdefender, it is quite easy to mix multiple subscriptions in the reports and UI. For example personal and work subscriptions can be easily mixed up.

Good protection, but slow response on software bugs

Commentaires : Besides the two major bugs I've encountered, my experience has been good in the 5 years I've been using this software. The Android app is solid and quite fast, and support is attentive.

Avantages :

Generally speaking, the software is weel designed and with many normal features. It's not pricey and you will be able to use it across multiple Windows, Mac, iOS and Android devices.

Inconvénients :

When they release a version with a bug, they take forever to fix it. In 2020 a bug on the Mac version made the software freeze and made the Mac slower. There were active threads on the companies' forums, and it took them over 3 months to fix this issue. And in 2021, a bug automatically boots the VPN app on Mac, even though they have the option to turn this off. This bug was reported at least in early February 2021, the company acknowledge the issue and in mid-September 2021 they haven't been able to fix this simple issue. Also, the VPN app is a paid feature, which would be better to include in the normal subscription package. If not, it would be better to leave this app away of the offering, and instead, make it an optional download.

Bitdefender GravityZone a great protection

Excellent AV Software

Commentaires : Our experience is that since switching to their software, we've had minimal infections while reducing crypto virus/ransomware to zero.

Avantages :

It's detection rate with minimal false positives. The sandbox analyzer is a lifesaver too. Deployment was pretty straightforward as well.

Inconvénients :

It's a little resource intensive. We've had numerous complaints about it affecting PC performance from users.

Perfect protection for corporate environments

Avantages :

As an user, I feel it's not intrusive, doesn't break your workflow and does it's job.

Inconvénients :

It doesn't always update by itself, sometimes I have to manually trigger updates. I am not sure if it's a configuration or software problem.

Best Antimalware Platform I've Used in the last 20 years

Commentaires : Bitdefender has been incredible to work with as a vendor. Bitdefender actually listens to their customers. After submitting a number of detailed bug reports and feature requests, I was actually approached by Product Management for my input and to better understand some of the suggestions I had made. When we decided to make the migration to their cloud solution, there was no integration with our LogRhythm SIEM. I worked with both vendors to make this happen and it was Bitdefender that finally provided a solution. they actually went through the process of becoming a LogRhythm partner to get access to resources to make this happen. Migration was held up for a significant time waiting on this. Bitdefender did not activate our subscription license until I have them the go ahead after integration was established. I was able to set up the cloud infrastructure before we started paying for it.

Avantages :

Bitdefender Gravityzone Business is an extremely cost effective and high performance solution that puts the 5 other enterprise endpoint protection products I've managed over the last 20 years to shame. It is simple to deploy and manage. It requires minimal attention. custom exclusions are rare and those I've had to create have been due to vendor stupidity, like sharing updates in an AWS container. I n addition to the typical features of most endpoint protection products, it includes features that are found in specialized products that cost more than Bitdefender alone. I've told many an endpoint security vendor, "Sorry, Bitdefender already does that for me. It might not do it as well, but it does the job your software does and more for less than half of what you want to charge me for your one trick pony." Bitdefender keeps adding security features to the base product without raising the price or drop in performance. It provides amazing network protection without implementing the Firewall. It is the only comprehensive solution I know of that provides true Ransomware Protection, which is behavior based. I have actually seen this in action when migrating data to a niche document management application. Bitdefender saw it encrypting files willy nilly while ingesting them and determined the behavior matched that of a ransomware application and stopped it dead. The application had previously encrypted files that were uploaded to it and it had never triggered before.

Inconvénients :

The only time I've run into significant difficulty was migrating from on premise to the cloud. The methods for doing that were not ass clean or simple to implement as I would have liked. The migration patch is not "finished" software and I've determined that systems that were "migrated" have leftover information from the On-Premise configuration that causes random communication issues that are invariably cleared by uninstalling and reinstalling.

Lightweight, Intuitive UI, Fast dan Mostly accurate to detecting threat

Commentaires : Very helpful and my laptop is not burdened with its performance. All my internet activity becomes very safe because if I make an unsecured connection with a certain site I can see why bitdefender is making this notification.

Avantages :

ease of use, complete features and the ability to overcome threats in a fast time and almost one hundred percent accurate

The vpn bonus given for total security is useless. Because it only provides connection data of 200mb per day

Complete security suite

Commentaires : In General I feel safe as an administrator and user. In the event of any attack, I am certain that it will be identified by Bitdefender and blocked.

Avantages :

With Bitdefender I can manage all the computers on my network and provide the necessary security. Comply with the policies of access to company resources and ensure the information as well as foresee the loss of data. Forense Inspection its a very usefull module.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes the maintenance of the equipment is usually tedious, the browser becomes slow and I have to generate custom reports continuously.

I find Bitdefender very good

Commentaires : I don't have to worry about computer and network security.

Avantages :

I began using this software when my Anti-Virus software provider of many years was forced to change from a previously top-notch product to Bitdefender - I have not been disappointed. I'm no expert in digital security but need good protection and Bitdefender seems to have an excellent record. It is quite easy to use and manage and I've not had any infections or compromised computers - I guess that says something. Support is very quick and professional.

Inconvénients :

Nothing I can think of that I don't like.

Well protected

Avantages :

the GravityZone antivirus solution from bitdefender is currently one of the best solutions on the market. updating to the latest incidents / exploits is very timely and provides reliable virus detection. The suite also brings numerous features (application control, firewall, USB device management, web threat detection, and more). In our experience, the bitdefender solution works quickly and reliably. Furthermore, the very competent support can be mentioned.

Inconvénients :

for the work with the management console some training or better a briefing/training on the part of bitdefnder is recommended. the structure and the functionality is not self-explanatory in some places

Commentaires : My overall experience with bitdefender is very good, it's a reliable protection solution.

Avantages :

Bitdefender always proved me to be a very reliable solution for endpoint protection. It is simple to implement, easy to configure and there's no need of dedicated server for managing your policies and things like that. Also, you can configure various different types of policies and apply each one on a group of machines. So, you can adjust the configurations to match the needs of your environment. Currently, all of our customers run Bitdefender as they primary protection solution.

Inconvénients :

Bitdefender try to block everything they think it's malicious, and sometimes it causes trouble by blocking false-positives. I don't really know if this is a downside, but annoys frequently

Great Virus Protection Software With Low Price

Commentaires : My overall experience with this program is pretty good.We started to use Bitdefender 2 years ago.I had some suspicous regarding implementation adn protection of crical files.But all is göne.Program offering good performance in protection of your computer from virused and malwares without loosing any performance lost

I like most regarding Bitdefender is user interace.It is really easy. the software providing detailed report after virüs scan. You are recognizing your system is being protected after you review detail report. The secong thing the softawere is avaialble for MaC OS software. .Customer survice is also great.Once I had problem I drop an -email to them and I got quick reply and problem is soved.

Inconvénients :

After first set up the program,scanning may take too much time.This is the only thing disturbs me

Runs without Issue - Could Provide Better Controls

Avantages :

BitDefender does a great job at its core purpose: keeping my network safe from viruses and malware. It runs in the background and doesn't hog my CPU or memory like McAfee and Kaspersky has done in the past. I've been pleased with the GravityZone web interface and deployment options as well; and I really like the quickview dashboard giving me a birds-eye view of my current network status.

Inconvénients :

The individual use experience even for power users is a bit limited. While the product runs on my machine, I don't feel like I can do much more with is other than update the definitions or run a full scan. It is difficult to mark items as safe or to track what traffic is blocked in real-time.

When it comes to security Bitdefender offers good virus protection to your computer. It has built in firewall, web protection, email protection, ransom ware protection and etc. All these services are getting updates daily. So you can keep your trust on BitDefender without any doubt. Its has very nice user interface which can be easily understand.

Inconvénients :

Therr isn't much cons to say anyway some times it uses more resources of running the software. However all that is for maintaining the system security.

Disappointing Customer Service

Avantages :

It protects my machine from all kinds of viruses.

Inconvénients :

I was overcharged and when I reached out to customer service they were less than helpful. The charge was on a old, closed account. I could not access it and to prove I had been overcharged I had to contact the bank and go through an entire process which was very frustrating. Customer service at Bitdefender was frustrating to deal with and less than accommodating.
