Great Quality, Great Service

5,0 il y a 4 ans

Commentaires : I have worked with ChirTouch for 5 years and I love it. I recommend it to all chiropractors I work with. Customer service is, more often than not, very helpful and they are at least attentive and quick to respond. The whole system is seamlessly integrated from online apt requests, auto population of paperwork, self check-ins, billing, it really is outstanding compared to all other chiro software I work with. The only thing that needs help is the patient statements. Instead of separating the amount due from the insurance co and the patient, it will put those two amounts together, before the insurance has paid the DOS and print a statement as if the patient owes the whole balance so with the 100s of patients we have, it is not economical to print all those statements and go through them one by one for accuracy. I have yet to figure out the best way to print accurate statements in bulk fashion and welcome help from ChiroTouch or anyone else familiar with this.

Avantages :

the intuitive nature of all basic functions, ease of use and organization

Inconvénients :

One thing only - the patient statements are too complicated when trying to do a 'mass' monthly production.

Better than what we had, but not amazing.

4,0 il y a 3 ans

Commentaires : We were moving from an EHR that was not working well for the clinic.

Avantages :

The version I have is hosted at the office. I know that EHR is going to an online platform and that is the "in thing" right now. But, with the hosted version, I own the licence and once paid off, I don't have to make that 400$ a month payment to use it.

Inconvénients :

They do not guide you on how to use the software in real life practice. Yes, they teach you what the buttons do. But knowing what the dials on an airplane mean is not the same thing as flying an airplane. They only give you access to the manual for the program if you buy their maintenance package. But, the manual is very lacking on any detailed information that makes it extremely useful. It is a very cumbersome software package to start using. Also, they do not integrate with QuickBooks. I wished that I could get the finances from this program to talk with QuickBooks.

The NWC Experience

5,0 il y a 2 mois Nouveau

Commentaires : Recent I signed up for CT ProBill and the experience has been the most outstanding. Not only did I have an awesome team to expedite the process, I gained a "biller" that far exceeded my expectations. My clinic was only collecting 19.2% before [sensitive content hidden] took over. She was thorough in her analysis, clear with her explanations and available every step of the way. I literally thought I would have to close my doors because money was not coming in. In reality, claims were not being submitted by the in-house biller. [sensitive content hidden] took it upon her own to submit the claims that were just hanging in the wind, so-to-speak, with no benefit to herself. [sensitive content hidden] not only proved that she was more than competent for the job, but that she wants my clinic to succeed as much as I do!

Avantages :

ChiroTouch is the simplest EHR that I've ever used. The training is outstanding. I love that you can make it as personal as you need it.

Inconvénients :

While I like the macros, I am not crazy about the 7.2 version. The 7.0 is definitely better.

Not a friendly software or company.

2,0 il y a 2 mois

Commentaires : Everything I was shown seemed good and it looked like it would do what I needed for my office but was very unfriendly for me or staff to learn. Once signed up and in the end it was very cumbersome to use and getting help was very difficult, always having to leave messages, never a live person without a 15 minute was or call back, if they called back. The calls we did get back were from other sales persons wanting us to buy some new add-on or other feature for the software.

Avantages :

Once I got the software and tried to implement it, NOTHING.

Inconvénients :

-Could never get a live person on the phone unless you called the sales number.-Implementation and training was a disaster and never really got done.-CT Community was a joke, nothing really answered our questions so we had to call in and of course, leave a message because there were no live persons to talk to.-Way to many windows boxes kept popping up and you would get lost in all the open windows. The software would not go from screen to screen without another window opening up. It became very confusing as to where things you needed were. -The macros came very insufficient and a lot of programing was needed. -Everything was difficult to figure out and not easy to do so.

Avantages :

The same as last time feature. I like the carryover feature as we are treating many of the new patient on a regular basis, and often there symptoms change gradually.

Inconvénients :

This is minor, but I wish that when you look up a patient and then go back to the patient list, that it would take you back to the last alphabetized patient list. I am often reviewing family members.

Commentaires : It hasn’t been great. We finally had someone for the first time reach out to us with all of our issues to try and understand the huge negative impact it has had on our clinic since the integration, I only hope they see the severity of the problem.

Avantages :

Can use this software with multiple clinics which is helpful.

Inconvénients :

Doesn’t have support when it doesn’t work during hours of operation on the east coast, training is awful, constantly doesn’t work within different aspects weather the billing isn’t working, system is shut down, reports aren’t accurate, patient statements aren’t accurate, so many issues to choose from.

Beware of Honesty

3,0 la semaine dernière Nouveau

Commentaires : The transition to cloud has been an amorphous mess. I trusted they had my best interests in the business. I absolutely feel they hired whomsoever they could, hit or miss, to manage the transition. Had I a single clue what they were pulling off , I would have been gone. I will be gone ASAP.

Avantages :

Chirotouch was awesome server based. Had good help. Which we needed very infrequently

Inconvénients :

Chirotouch employed many lawyers and sales people to get me to sign up to cloud. It has been a disaster and I will dump them when my contract is over. In my opinion, Chirotouch is as unscrupulous as many chiro practice management companies are, and I have been here 40 plus years

Best Comprehensive Software

5,0 il y a 5 ans

Avantages :

In any software package that is comprehensive I think that support and training are the keys to ongoing success. CT has a tremendous support staff and they are available online to help with questions and problems. In particular rep has come to the rescue of my office in times of front desk transitions by coming in at 6 am to help me to get back up to speed, to train new staff, and to help with a backlog of billing snarls such a transition can engender. She was always cheerful, detailed, patient, warm, ...and I do not think it an exaggeration to say she was instrumental to the health of my clinic at many times of transition and flux. Just knowing she is available with answers to back us up has given us a huge sense of security since the billing issues are always changing and evolving and she stays up on them. She knows the software inside and out and we consider her an essential part of our office team. The software itself is comprehensive and has more functionality than I can describe. It allows the doctor to ipad notes on the fly..pull up reports that cover anything, handle EHR issues, and is moldable to the needs of many styles of practice. It is the Cadillac of software and was the best purchase I made when setting up my office. I have never regretted not going for a stripped down cheap software package. It really runs the whole office and if you are even considering a software company to incorporate into your practice this is the one to use.

Inconvénients :

Not to sound one sided...but I really have nothing that comes to mind. It seems they have talked to many DCs and have anticipated our needs before I do.

10 year customer unhappy

2,0 il y a 6 ans

Commentaires : I've used ChiroTouch for about 10 years and have witnessed a steady decline in everything from speed to customer support. Honestly, I did not pay very much for this software since I originally purchased it so long ago but the annual support fees have increased dramatically while support has simultaneously declined. It used to be that you called for support and after a reasonable wait, we transferred to a technician. Now, if you have an option of leaving a message requesting support and you are told that your message will be returned in 3 days! ...or you can go online and make an appointment for a support session. On reason I originally purchased CT was the ability to use it wirelessly on a table computer. When you have multiple treatment rooms and a personal office it is nice to just bring your computer from room to room instead of having 6 different hard wired computers. ChiroTouch has become extremely slow on the wireless. I was originally told it was my wireless so we had multiple access points installed and upgraded to the state of the art router only to have to problem continue. I was then told it was recommended that I have a hard wired computer in each treatment room!! Whenever I select a new patient, change a charge posting or a diagnosis I have to wait anywhere from 10 seconds to 30 seconds for the screen to populate. The other issue is the notes. It is up to you to create your own note macros. They have plenty of macros that you can use but if you want to be medicare compliant they suggest you use the "Bullet Proof" macros which are way over the top complicated with ridiculous amounts of variables which to modify it for my use is a full-time job on top of the other 3 full time jobs most of us have in trying to run a chiropractic office in this age of medicare compliance. Another issue is the cost of add ons. CT has some great features but many are expensive add-ons. I've been paying for the CTRx which was required for compliance with the EHR incentive program. ...Only to find out that the vast majority of chiros, if not all, DON'T meet the requirements necessitating it's use and can opt-out. ...but they don't tell you that. There is one add on we find helpful which is the text driven appointment reminders .... that too is an extra charge!

To Slow To Change

3,0 il y a 3 ans

Commentaires : Again, Chirotouch’s strength is its sales, customer and tech support. They are the absolute best I have ever found, it’s just to bad the program does not live up to the same standard as outlined above. I give it overall average grade of a C. One of the strengths of chirotouch is that is owned by a large well invested company that want be going out of business anytime soon. This is very important for you to understand because every software program I began practice with 35 years ago has either gone out of business or has been sold off to another competitor who eventually killed it off (Much like Forte’ software killed DC Power Notes). You can not imagine the problems it can cause when your sold off. I believe chirotouch will be around for a long time and that is why I am sticking with them even though it does not totally meet my needs.

Avantages :

I have used a lot of software in my 36 years of private practice, and I must say that chirotouch support is the best in the industry. They are knowledgeable, efficient, friendly and polite folks who have always returned my phone calls and solved any kind of problem we have experienced with the software which has been infrequent considering the complexity of the program.

Inconvénients :

1) First and foremost, unlike most all medical software, it does not allow you to charge interest on personal monthly balances over 30, 60 or 90 days. In my office that is close to 2k a month. My previous chiropractic software (Inception) and almost all medical billing software allows you to set a monthly percentage on personal balances. 2) My previous record keeping software was DC Power Notes and I used it for 24 years. It was by far the best chiropractic software ever written with regards to ease of use and programming templates. I spent years looking for something comparable and it just does not exist. Chirotouch is fast and efficient, but is difficult to program. It’s does not auto change grammar and sentence structure, so everything looks cloned. Requires much longer to make a daily note than DC Power Notes. Insurance reviewers dislike the program. 3) Does not have a hard copy paper manual or text to use when refreshing memory when reprogramming or training staff. 4) Very time consuming training videos and offers limited hands on in person training. 5)It does not automatically produce radiographic reports , so you have to manually cut/paste Xray information into a Xray report. Insurance reviewers require a separate and independent Xray report. 6) It’s a paper hog because the soap note is in bullet format, so it uses 3-4x more paper than my previous program 7) Unless you have pointed fingers, you will need to use a computer digitizer pens.

We have been using ChiroTouch in a multi provider integrated chiropractic/medical clinic since 2010.

5,0 il y a 6 ans

Avantages :

Initially, I was so impressed with the integration between daily notes, charges, and diagnoses that I help the company with demonstrations those early days. Our clinic services between 140 and 170 services per day and I'm happy to say that ChiroTouch is able to keep up with this Dement. I appreciate the regular updates and their response to provider feedback. Their multiple service packages make this EMR a no-brainer for a start-up practices or a multimillion dollar practice like ours. In this day and age of increased regulatory control and oversight it is absolutely ridiculous to me that some doctors are still paper charting their daily visits. They are setting themselves up for audits, post service reviews and possibly huge fines. It is my opinion that ChiroTouch does everything it possibly can to support me in maintaining strong compliance as well as privacy for the long- term security of our practice. I have the unique opportunity to know the principles of this company personally and I know that they have an ultimate higher purpose serving the chiropractic profession for many, many years to come. Thank you ChiroTouch, Dr. Kevin Polzin, Bellevue WA.

Inconvénients :

As with any large company customer service is a massive challenge. ChiroTouch remains innovative in staying up with the demands of their company utilizing technology to maximize customer service.

The Best of the Best, People, Software, Support

5,0 il y a 7 ans

Commentaires : The people behind this product have the expertise and willingness to support a practice in . every single aspect of the business. I have been in business for a long time and have never had the pleasure of working with such a great knowledgeable, and supportive team. The software developers have designed the system for us the working doctors. This means that from the intake, to the input of soap notes and exams into ipads quickly on the go while in the treatment room, to the EHR aspects of practise this team is working for the success of the working doctor.
Now, I have never actually done the billing personally before as I have always had trained personnel to handle this. Recently I was left with a mess in the billing department and no clue as to how to untangle the snarled backlog, catch up to present day, and to get that department and the clinic finances back in working order. I reached out to Chirotouch support and they gave me Cheryl Davenport, who is the closest thing to an Angel for this profession I have come across. She systematically worked day in and day out with me to untangle the accounts, and bring this doctor up to speed in the accounts receivable and brought me from zero billing knowledge to the point I should have been in knowing the billing aspect of my own practice so that this will never happen again. She did this with humor, and patience and did it at 6:00 in the morning when I had time to dedicate to billing. Her patience and resolve to problem solve is unmatched. I have never found support that comes anywhere close to that provided by Chirotouch.
Chirotouch is truly the Rolls Royce of the Chiropractic Software world. The software you purchase for your office will either make your working world more functional, legally compliant, productive, and ease each day...or it won't. So, consider this software to be an investment in your future financial well being, but also a tool to make each day less stressful and more enjoyable with each action during the day.

Avantages :

This software is visually pleasing, intuitive, and comprehensive. The developers have brought the tedious soap notes to heel with ipad menus that really work. With software I have used in the past I found myself wishing for this feature, or that feature, or wishing the developers had to actually use their own software as working doctors. With Chirotouch I have not once come across something missing that they did not already think about. From the scheduling, to the billing, to the reports, to the legal compliance, they have thought of everything.

Inconvénients :

We are a billing service that uses many software systems. ChiroTouch is one of the better ones.

4,0 il y a 5 ans

Avantages :

Anything can be fixed although usually cumbersome. Information easy to read in patient account, insurance, ledger, etc. Reports we use have all of the information on them for the most part. So far accounting seems to stay accurate.

Inconvénients :

Statusing claims (doing a corrected claim or voiding a claim) cannot be done once ins payment is applied which is the case 99% of the time. Have to pretend to bill a claim in order to status. Horrible! IE chiro bills out 98941 and 97124. 98941 pays but 97124 denies for DX. Can't status this since 98941 paid so you have to bill both codes again then at a later date status the second billing. Puts charges on claims randomly and takes charges paid off of report when charges billed with it are still outstanding. Makes calling on delinquent claims very difficult when they want the total billed amount of each claim. Can't choose accident status/initial consult date/etc per claim. So if you have to rebill an old auto accident claim or old health insurance claim you have to change information and then change back. Have to bill them separately if patient stopped or started auto and has one claim that is and one that is not. Can't bill out an insurance that is termed even when date of service falls under active period. IE had Aetna in 2017 and BC in 2018. Term Aetna 12-31-17 but need to rebill a December 2017 date and you have to take term date out, bill, put term date back in. Lots of wasted time to get system to do what needs to be done if anything needs to be fixed.

Have been using CT for a little over a year

3,0 il y a 9 ans

Avantages :

ChiroTouch is quick can make a note in a very short time. The staff members are nice. The Front Office portion is very good. The touch screen processing is very nice.

Inconvénients :

1. The charting takes a significant number of clicks to create a really compliant note. The daily notes take a good bit of work to make them show a difference from one visit to the next. Easy for a cash patient, not so much for an insurance patient that has to meet standards of someone looking over your shoulder to meet compliance. 2. The staff is unable to do any input into the chart as a staff member. They are force to use the logon credentials to do something as simple as putting in PHI or ROS (and if the doctor is creating a note while they are using the doctor's credentials to add this clerical info, the note being done by one of the users will not be saved) 3. The outcome assessment info is not integrated into the chart note; it must be imported to create a graphical reference but is independent from the note itself. My preference is that the data would actually be in the chart note itself. If this was done, the program could be used to create meaningful goals based on the outcome assessment instead of just collecting data for reporting. 4. Vitals for the EHR component when put in for meaningful use are not integrated into the chart, which causes double entry. 5. The CT sign-in is cumbersome and really aggravating. The patients often click "no symptoms" just because it is the easiest choice. They cannot have any realistic options to show radiating pain; it just makes them chose pain at each site. (For instance, neck pain with radiating arm pain would end up being reported as neck pain, shoulder pain, and elbow pain. It does not show any connection that the extremity pain is coming from the neck. There is a form that allows for radiating pain, but it allows the patient to say things that do not make sense, like neck pain that radiates to the foot (in the same sentence they can say it does not refer) and that it radiates into the right arm. Many times, it takes 3-5 mins to fix a subjective that the patient has put in. It also does not allow for doing documents that are attached to a daily note, like a doctor's note, digitally. They have some of these in the program, but they are not directly integrated and just add another step instead of making it a simple process.

Avantages :

I’ve been in practice for 18 years and was with the same software company for the first 12 ..., we spent the last few you’re struggling to find a program that would meet our needs and honestly had stayed away from Cairo touch because we had heard horrors about their support ..... i’ve got to tell you everything I heard was completely wrong. The amount of support available and incredible if I’ve got a problem I can immediately chat with somebody I can call In, I have training videos there are forums, there’s a manual ....it unbelievable the amount of support that is there. After spending the last year learning the program and seeing a 30% increase in the profits in my office because of the functionality of this program I really think that any of the naysayers who had issues with support are people who haven’t really dug in and done their work to make the program available to do what they need them to do. The macros that I’ve been able to create to be able to do my patient notes efficiently and effectively on an iPad in the room are unsurpassed by any program. And thank God this is an a cloud-based program so I own all of my stuff! Additionally use their back up support as well as their exercise smart fit programs and their integrated new patient paperwork

Inconvénients :

The only thing I did not love about Chiro touch was the text message reminder integration.... We use review wave in conjunction with CT and it is a marriage made in heaven

I love my ChiroTouch program! After struggling through other software, ChiroTouch is a breeze!

Commentaires : Ease of use. I was able to easily convert from a single Doc practice to a thriving multi DC practice.

Avantages :

The best thing about ChiroTouch, is well, everything! I love the ease of use. I love how different parts of the software overlap and talk to each other...no more double, triple, quadriple entery. The developers have thought of just about everything when it comes to customizing software to and individual office, things I, as a 30 year office manager, would have implemented into my own software if I were to customize my own. The program is easy to customize, in every aspect, to an individual or group practice. The support is bar-none! If my call isn't answered live within 10 minutes, I can expect a call back, usually, within the hour. The support staff is very knowledgeable and fortunately for me, very patient and understanding when I try to take programming into my own hands (even though I shouldn't) and end up messing something up. I recommend ChiroTocuh highly to all my Chiropractic colleagues.

Inconvénients :

Probably the two main things I would change in this software would be the ability to customize forms (ie; exams, letters, reports) and the ability to have more options to run customized financial reports. As an administrator, owner and office manager I like to have the ability to customize what reports I'd like to see.

Not worth the time or Money

Commentaires : Long and arduous hours of wasted time to attain basic functionality.

Avantages :

It has a good suite of potential options and could be made quasi-functional if you are willing to learning the ins and outs of the system and create your own specifications.

Inconvénients :

The long version: I have worked with at least 5 different chiropractic EMR systems, both as a clinician, office manager, and IT support and have helped no fewer than 4 clinics transition from other systems to ChiroTouch (against by recommendations). I am also a chiropractor with a strong background in billing and compliance and have used ChiroTouch extensively at several different offices and in school. I say this so you will take my recommendation seriously. ChiroTouch can be a functional system, but is far from the end-all be-all that it would have you believe. Firstly, it is expensive to set up and to pay for month to month. Most of the really useful features it offers cost an additional monthly subscription and it can easily get more expensive than your office rent per month. Secondly, the system is Server based, not Cloud based. For those of you who don't have networking experience, this means that it is difficult to connect to the system outside of the office (for example if you wanted to complete outstanding charts from home) and it is very slow if you manage it. Thirdly, the system has separate, poorly integrated apps for scheduling, patient account management and charting and will drive your staff crazy unless they have 3 monitors. Finally it take DAYS to WEEKS of complicated work just to get the system functional for day to day operations, and even then it lacks some basic billing functionality. If you are looking for a new EHR, I recommend ChrioFusion.

Watch out

Commentaires : They are quick to resolve issues when you go through the chat but I feel like I’m going on to resolve issues about once a Month. Updates take about a month or two to schedule and then after I do them I feel like I get an email to update about 1 Month later. It also runs slow ALOT. I feel like there is ALWAYS an issue, I don’t understand why it’s so loved.

Avantages :

Did notes and billing and scheduling all on one and compatible with iPad to do notes in room without extra computer set up

Inconvénients :

Cost about $14,000 to start and then the yearly “maintenance/upgrade” fee has almost double to about $1200/year. I got sold bait and switch. I also find the software to be extremely tedious to enter a patient, check them in, post their codes, and enter Payments is about 30 clicks per patient even if I enter same charges as last time!

Customer Service is Negligent, and can destroy my practice.

Commentaires : Seriously, if you like being messed around with, lied, to, given false apologies, and then not help you, go for it. The system works ok should you never ever have problems that you cant work out yourself. But given how they respond, I'd move on. I'm in the process of convincing my company to drop them as a liability.
That is shuts down. I'd love to say its great, but each part that is nice still has issues. So, I like the front desk and the patient management, but not the checkout area. I like the inventory, except that it has glitches for over 100 items. I like the charge system, except that it doesn't apply properly sometimes.

Inconvénients :

Their customer service. Their billing made a mistake and turned a payment into a debt. I've had to make the ticket 3 times because it was lost. I've asked for someone to fix it several times, and after getting no help, a manager oh 4-5 times. It has been since august that I cannot print out a correct bill for a patient. IE, the system cant track payments because any given payment can screw up and be un-deleteable. If she ever requires a copy of the records, we will have to hand write corrections or delete and recreate several years of charges. TL;DR Cant process payments correctly, and in 6 months of asking for professional support, I have spoken to a manager once, and it was the update manager who promised me he would personally get someone to call me. That was almost 2 weeks ago.
