Commentaires : Texting with in product, newsletters, reviews, smart CallerID add on package, eRx add on.

Avantages :

I find the ease of charting and treatment planning; it is uncomplicated and straightforward! Software support is very personalized, and I rely on the support for problem resolution, upgrades and usage/training.

Inconvénients :

Lack of “cloud” support, but they add Doctor Portal now which helps

Commentaires : Practice-web is an all-in-one dental system, very easy to navigate and learn. Coming from previous banker who has a zero experience in the dental industry.

Avantages :

Practice-Web system is very easy to navigate. Also, if I have any technical difficulty, their technical support is available even on weekends and they reach out pretty fast.

Inconvénients :

The least I like about the tool is that the bone graft has no tooth number option so I would have to edit it on our EDI solutions website. I hope they can update this.

Commentaires : I used this for a few years during the early practice start up phase.

Avantages :

Low cost,, was great during my practice start up phase as I could not spare additional cash flow to pay for premium software

Inconvénients :

The features were updated very infrequently and slow to be released.

I can't match you to your account with 100% certainty because Capterra doesn't show your last name, though it looks like you might have had Support for short period of time about a decade ago. Paid support is required to receive the upgrades. Major releases are done roughly twice per year with minor upgrades between. Technical support is also a benefit of paid support. We've had a 98-100% satisfaction rate from clients (via post-support surveys) for the past several years and holding. It's a big deal to us because we follow up on every issue - we want our clients to be happy and thrive! I'm not sure if your experience wasn't up to par because your Support lapsed or something else happened because it was so long ago, but if you'd like to elaborate more or see what Practice-Web is like today, please call us at 800.845.9379 (opt 1). The best PM

Commentaires : I brag about it all. Very efficient. I've added a stand up computer on the clinic floor because most entries are so quick, it's a waste of energy to sit down.

Avantages :

The ease of charting and the notes below the chart that are permanently there and aren't scrolled with the official chart notes.

Inconvénients :

The click to the chart page from the calendar could be simplified. Most calendars provide a left click but yours left click options provide the rescheduling options. One option at the bottom of the scroll down menu for chart face would be nice. Also, my network computer manager has always hated that this is not a web product by current definitions. He consults on all sorts of industries and the computer products always use online servers if they are called "web".

Web-based- not server-based. Too many items are outsourced to third parties, so we have to contact different vendors for everything

I would like to clarify that Practice-Web is a server based application which means the data base is stored locally in your office. Although we do have some functions that are outsourced like eClaims services, many of our major competitors do the same. We do offer our own in-house patient texting, reviews and eNewsletters. Good Dental Software

Avantages :

User friendly and not as difficult as other dental software.

Inconvénients :

texting word count limitations and the fact that the number for the texts comes out as 1-800 number; not that great in terms of the reports being accurate (like recall list)

To address your concerns, unfortunately all text message providers limit the number of letters/characters allowed to be transmitted. But we have done everything we can to make sure that our users have the ability to send the maximum number of characters allowed by the cell phone service providers. If you find that your recall list has some inaccuracies, this typically occurs when a staff member doesn't correctly use the Recall Appointment button in the Appointment Module. Have your staff call our support team and we'll be happy to review the correct use of Recalls in Practice-Web.

Commentaires : I rate it a 8 of 10 because some of the chart features need to be updated AND management reports, and te patient schedule module needs more features.

Avantages :

Very easy to use reminds we a lot of Eaglesoft.

Inconvénients :

Not enough management reports. We need end of day reports for adjustments, collections etc.

Commentaires : Overall, we are very pleased with Practice-Web.

Avantages :

This open-source software does everything we need for our daily operations, and now allows us to e-prescribe as well. The support team is always helpful, and everyone at the company, from the [SENSITIVE CONTENT] on down the chain has been a pleasure to work with.

Inconvénients :

The integration process was tricky, and a bit complex, but once done, performs well. Integration with prior data sets was the biggest challenge.

I have been impressed with the thought put into this software.

Commentaires : It allowed me to integrate my accounting and patient chart into a seamless unit.

Avantages :

I have been able to make it make it mold to my practice style. Support has been great. It allows me to locate the needed information easily. With some thought, I have it set up so that hopefully, we will not over look important information.

Inconvénients :

There are things I would change but that's just because I want the software to behave exactly the way I want it to. That's not going to happen with any software, but Practice Web has listened to my ideas and the ones they consider universal enough, they have accommodated.
