"Awsome software for all Google products in one place"
Commentaires : It gives me the power to handle all my Gmail in one place. My experience with Kiwi is great. It helps me everything organized. Kiwi makes my life easy in many ways. In beginning can try it for free. It's a very clean and easy interface. Kiwi is a very reliable app. I recommend this to everyone. It's very cost-effective too. It keeps me updated every time. I like this because it saves me time. Kiwi is the best method to interact with all Google services. Awesome software comes with excellent customer support.
Avantages :
I like the interface of this software. It's very easy to use and helpful when needed to switch many emails. I can manage all Google programs in one place. The window feature is also great. Kiwi gives me the freedom to access all my emails at the same time without a browser. They added Grammarly and Zoom features in the basic version. It's a good deal for me. It gives me time freedom too. Very cost-effective and manage all Google and Google Workplace accounts easily. Not only manage Google accounts but also gives the freedom to launch Google Slide, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets. I like the performance when switching between all services. Notification and integration are also good. I like the colour theme because with the help of Kiwi can easily identify every account. I can manage many accounts in one app.
Inconvénients :
It's a very fabulous app. I like this software. I wish could be an app for iPad. there is some lag in a startup this is a minor thing. It doesn't come with more than 100 emails per view. Sometimes difficult to find unread emails. Sometimes it freezes and I have to exit and restart this. Fans of dark mode disappoint sometimes.
Perfectly functional free software
Commentaires : Perfectly fine. One thing I wish Kiwi might do is prompt the user that a new email has arrived by altering the icon in the taskbar. Overall, I quite enjoy the software.
Avantages :
It's simple and straightforward. It doesn't add any excessive functionality and is focused on just providing my Gmail as a program.
Inconvénients :
I often wish "pages" would open in either some form of tab or in the browser window. For example, opening a calendar link prompts a new Kiwi window. This means Kiwi now has multiple screens in my Windows taskbar making making switching back and forth somewhat cumbersome. Also, the new screen doesn't respect any size requirements I've provided to other windows. If it were to open in a browser, it'd automatically go full screen and respect my browser setup. If it were to open as a tab in Kiwi, it'd respect whatever size that is currently set to. As it is now, it just opens in some arbitrary size that I then have to enlarge and deal with as a seperate application.
Customer support non existent, too pricey for what you get
Commentaires : Due to the complete lack of customer support AND the multiple tiers of their paid subscription, I believe the price paid for a year's subscription is no longer worth the value received from the product. Too many competitors and methods for replicating what Kiwi for Gmail provides.
Avantages :
The product is a self-contained web browser around the Gmail web interface, so if you are familiar with the Gmail user interface, it is easy to use. Having multiple Gmail accounts in one Windows-based application is productive.
Inconvénients :
Customer service is non-existent. I tried multiple times to contact them with a question, both through email and their ZenDesk support system. Never received a reply. Additionally, since first releasing Kiwi for Gmail (most likely under a different owner/management), the product included third-party extensions (Grammarly, for example) in all levels of subscriptions. However, they have since moved that feature to a higher-priced subscription level.
Adds Functionality and Organization to My Work Email
Commentaires : Kiwi is a pleasure to use, effective, and powerful. It's been an always-open app on my computer.
Avantages :
It's very easy to add your email accounts in Kiwi and get started. I love having all my Google suite programs available in one place, especially my calendar and Google Docs. The focus features have also helped me stay on top of time-sensitive emails, emails with important documents, etc.
Inconvénients :
I wish that I could use the multiple inboxes/panels feature in Gmail to follow the Inbox Zero workflow to further manage my email organization.
Pleased to use KIWI, able to use multiple Emails as professional way
Commentaires :
Kiwi is an independent tool which gives me chance to use Gmail and other google client in a single app , without opening a browser. For professional purpose it is very hard to use browser only for email checking. After using KIWI i can use multiple email account at a single time by professional way.
They continuously increase their support by providing other software access, Now i can directly use Grammarly and Zoom via desktop app also.
Avantages :
Easy to setup and use, for Professional use sometimes I need several email account, Kiwi gives me chance to use several email at same time without having browser. Beside I can use G suite also like Google docs, sheets at drive. Recently they added ZOOM and Grammarly in their Basic version. It saves my time .
Inconvénients :
During my use , Sometimes it freezes up , to continue I need to restart.
Kiwi for Gmail and Google Workspace Greatly Enhances Productivity
Commentaires : Great software combined with excellent, personalized and very responsive customer support. Excellent experience with the company so far.
Avantages :
Exceptional cost-effective productivity booster when managing a number of Gmail or Google Workspace accounts. Not only with respect to managing email accounts themselves within one interface but also given the ability to launch Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, etc., apps and managing them directly within the Kiwi interface. It makes managing a Gmail or Google Workspace account feel like using an integrated office suite. Seemless.
Inconvénients :
The only thing I'd wish for is increased integration with third-party Chrome extensions which can further optimize the experience. They've added Grammarly with the latest release (which is great) but I'd love to see the inclusion of [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] excellent Simplify extension [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] for example. An increased focus on integrating third-party extensions would be appreciated.
Love having my gmail outside of a browser!
Commentaires : I like it, it keeps being updated and it is easy to use!
Avantages :
I constantly open and close browsers and keeping my gmail separate made sure it was always open and easily accessible. It feels like I'm in the browser and has all the capabilities I'm used to.
Inconvénients :
They are constantly working with integrations... Still waiting on a couple to come through
Helpful!
Avantages :
It allows you to have all the accounts you need to handle in one place. It's very helpful when your organization and most of your clients move in the GSuite space, so you can make the most out of the apps in the suite. Being able of using a couple of the extensions available is also super helpful in the processes, specially when you need to schedule a ton of emails and schedule a ton of zoom calls.
Inconvénients :
In a sense, it's a glorified web browser for Gmail use only, and if you strip it from the drive and gsuite apps capabilities and the fact the it eats up SO MUCH processing power if you activate the wrong combination of extensions is not nice. Also, in big sur (mac) I can't have more than 2 extensions or more than 2 accounts logged in.
Great way to have GMail on Mac OSX
Avantages :
This does an awesome job of allowing you to use Gmail in a dedicated application on MacOSX instead of just having a webpage open. I like the ability to quickly switch between services (calendar, email, docs, etc)
Inconvénients :
Copy & Paste without formatting doesn't seem to work. I wish calendar would just open the same window instead of a new window every time. Some links should actually open in the web (for instance data studio reports) rather than in their web viewer.
Awesome Gmail Client
Commentaires : Just love having everything in one place!
Avantages :
I love having all my Gmail features (mail/chat/docs) in one easy to use interface! Not having to spawn multiple apps or many browser tabs makes my life easy!
Inconvénients :
Sometimes the zoom feature does not work as it should.
The Best Way To Use Google Apps On Your Mac
Commentaires : I use Kiwi to manage all my Google stuff on a daily basis. I think the Kiwi for G Suite upgrade is the best way to do that today.
Avantages :
I love the freedom of having a dedicated desktop app for all the Google services I use - Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Slides, Calendar, and Contacts. I've tried Mailplane (which is my second favorite app), Airmail, and a variety of other apps but Kiwi for G Suite has the best implementation. Airmail looks cool, but the integration with contacts was not very good. Mailplane has very similar features as Kiwi for mail but lacks the other features for Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc. Even though Kiwi works like a desktop app it still integrates with Grammarly which I use all the time. So, for me, Kiwi for G Suite is the best way to interact with Google Apps on your Mac.
Inconvénients :
I wish it was easier to open up a reply composition window in its own detached window. Kiwi works exactly like Gmail in the browser. But I write long emails - like proposals - and would like an easy way to pop open a detached window for composing replies.
Excellent Email Management Solution
Commentaires : Kiwi has overall been a joy to work with - I recommend it to all of my colleagues looking for a better way to manage their inbox.
Avantages :
I love having a separate application to effortlessly manage my gmail from my desktop. Chrome quickly becomes overwhelmed with tabs throughout the day, and it can be difficult to keep track of that one tab containing the emails I need to see. Additionally, notifications (both badges and banners) work much better from Kiwi than it ever did when I was trying to use that browser tab, so I miss far fewer emails and meetings than I was before trying Kiwi.
Inconvénients :
I wish there was an option to take a gdrive page that's already open in a Kiwi window and have it open in my default browser if I realize whatever I need to do would be simpler in a full browser. I've also noticed that I don't always remember I have the calendar open already and manage to open 4 - 5 separate instances of the calendar and have to close them all.
Kiwi for Gmail review
Commentaires :
I'm using this tool very often in the last years, is stable and very useful mixing the powerful of google services used like a desktop application.
I had a couple of issues but the support provided me a workaround soon and the fix in few time, so awesome.
Avantages :
It's easy to use and I like a lot to open mails, calendar, drive, documents and other google services in a dedicated window, like a desktop application. This tool allow the user to use the full features available in gmail as a desktop application
Inconvénients :
As an improvement, I'd like to have google keep and google meet manageable in a separate window like for calendar for example, moreover will be nice if it can be available on Linux
Excellent Gmail desktop app
Commentaires : Kiwi allows you to separate your gmail use from the browser, preventing you from being distracted by either. The functionality of having separate windows also allow you to quickly switch from one Google Workspace app to the next, without having a whole list of chrome tabs open and guessing which one you need.
Avantages :
Having seperate windows instead of tabs is really helpful. Also all your accounts are in one overview and you don't have any difficulty with signing into several accounts (like personalised business email, sales inbox and private) and you can colour code your accounts to distinguish which one you are working in. The integration with Boomerang is just as good as in your browser.
Inconvénients :
It's a great app, but I miss the Chrome Lightning Inbox extension for Salesforce, by Salesforce.
Alternatives envisagées précédemment :
Easy to use
Commentaires : Overall has been very good and have been using for a fee years. Ow
Avantages :
Incorporates all the Gmail features I use
Inconvénients :
Maybe make it more customisable in line with corporate colour schemes
Handle Multiple Gmail Accounts Effortlessly
Commentaires : I've been very pleased with the ability to easily manage multiple work and personal mail accounts with Kiwi. The application is stable and reliable. There are periodic updates for any issues discovered by publisher.
Avantages :
Kiwi has a great user interface and allows me to easily manage six different gmail accounts. The color profiles provide aesthetic and more importantly, efficient visual indicators of different inboxes and calendars. Kiwi also offers support for popular extensions and plugins for virtual meeting scheduling.
Inconvénients :
Fans of dark mode will be disappointed in Kiwi's less than full adoption of a dark interface.
Great tool for managing multiple gmail inboxes
Avantages :
I purchased Kiwi to be able to manage multiple inboxes across work and personal accounts. Kiwi makes it easy to switch between accounts and track multiple conversations. Overall, it takes gmail's already great features and adds to it. It's no longer necessary to change chrome or browser profiles in order to work with multiple accounts.
Inconvénients :
Though I like the integration of Google Suite, separate sheets, calendar view, docs, etc. get easily lost as they are buried in the kiwi icon. It isn't easy to simply switch between open documents/windows, etc. The notifications icon for the different inboxes does not stay up to date so I have to click into individual accounts to check for new mail.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review, James!
Wonderful concept; worked great for years; broke.
Avantages :
Having independent windows for multiple docs, spreadsheets and so forth.
Inconvénients :
Locks up much too frequently. Click almost anywhere and I get a not responding result. Started happening about six months ago. Finally gave up, tired of having to end task and start over.
I love Kiwi, but...
Commentaires : Kiwi promised 3rd party support for features and support; however, that promise is mostly unfulfilled. Still waiting! Otherwise, I really do like the interface. It's clean and easy to use.
Avantages :
Standalone Gmail client that is easy to navigate.
Inconvénients :
Better support for chrome extensions. For my work account, we use either the Salesforce Gmail plugin for the Cirrus Insight plugin. We use it to track updates to opportunities in Salesforce and track emails sent. Without these features, I really can't use Kiwi for my work account (my main account).
Awesome Way to Manage All Gmail Accounts
Commentaires : Got in at the very beginning when it was free. Makes my life super easy and streamlined, definitely worth the price
Avantages :
I love how each one of my Gmail/Gsuite accounts is in a tab that is easily switchable. Saves my browsers some CPU power and me some crazy organization of tabs
Inconvénients :
The Copy/Paste via anything but keyboard shortcuts always says that you have to install an extension to copy and paste in google docs (cmd+C/cmd+v work fine)
Kiwi keeps me organized
Avantages :
Kiwi is simple and intuitive. It helps keep my inbox organized and I love having Gmail available in it's own window instead of having to clicks through many Chrome tabs to find my inbox.
Inconvénients :
Kiwi falls a little short in the integration aspect of email. Attachments and Google Drive products don't always render/load properly and sometimes links need to be pasted directly into a browser to redirect correctly.
Well Integrated with Google
Commentaires : My experience with Kiwi is totally positive
Avantages :
It provides a much better user experience than using Gmail and Google Calendar in a browser, yet it provides efficient access to the full array of Google for Business services.
Inconvénients :
Does not over come the limitation of more than 100 emails per view which is also a limitation of Gmail inio a browser. I t would be amazing if they could solve that limitation.
Great Product
Commentaires : I love it. It is the most useful email and google client combination I have ever worked with.
Avantages :
I love the integration of all the google products into one desktop location. It is the perfect email and google client.
Inconvénients :
There is really nothing missing from the suite of programs available within the Kiwi software.
Kiwi Gmail best fit.
Commentaires : Kiwi makes Gmail access so efficient and easy on a desktop sparing multiple log in on a browser.
Avantages :
Most impressive feature is that Kiwi allows me to take my Gmail out of my browser tab and switch between all email accounts on one desktop based app. Since Kiwi has the same outlook as Gmail app, it is much easier to use because you don't have to learn new ways when dealing with it.
Inconvénients :
This software is one of a kind and it satisfy my desires on Gmail matters so well. I have not experienced any difficulty so far.
Making GMAIL even better
Commentaires : GMAIL is great but can get clunky. Kiwi for GMAIL consolidates GMAIL with GSUITE brilliantly, allowing multiple email accounts while keeping them easily distinguishable. I cannot recommend this strongly enough
Avantages :
I loved the user-friendliness. But what I loved most about it was the easy link to the other parts of G Suite, I could have multiple tabs for Google Drive and Docs and mail. My entire work world was concentrated in one friendly place
Inconvénients :
You could look to provide more options for default mail fonts and look and feel.
