Avantages :

Because of this our studio was able to have a seamless transition from Mindbody to Arketa. Not to mention the software is easy to use, especially from the client side.

Inconvénients :

The only thing I feel like I’m missing is getting an email when a client cancels an in studio class reservation.

FINALLY found my perfect fit for studio software!

Commentaires : I've been around the fitness block a few times. I've been teaching group ex classes since they were called "aerobics", and I've had my own fitness business for 19 years. I was with MindBody for 10 years and then Mariana Tek for the past 3 years. While both are well established companies, Arketa has so much more to offer! To start, the onboarding process was top notch. [sensitive content hidden] was my specialist and he was amazing! We went through everything in weekly zoom meetings, so that when it was time for my software to go "live" I was more than ready. I feel that I finally found a software that has everything my brick & mortar studio + my online business need.

Avantages :

Software looks great and it's easy to customize to your brand. I have EVERYTHING that I need is one spot, instead of paying 3 different providers (software/email/app/etc) which gets overwhelming and expensive. I've had to contact customer service a few times since I'm new(ish) to Arketa, and they've quickly resolved any questions that I've encountered. I LOVE my branded app and so do my members!

Inconvénients :

I haven't had any problems with my software or app.

Honestly I can say my experience has been 10/10 -- there's always a glitch here or there that you would expect to run into with converting software... but seeing the people behind the scenes and building relationships with these individuals goes and has gone a very long way. The branded app has elevated my clients' experience in all ways of PL. I'm super grateful to be part of all of Arketa's growth as a business but also to other studios! I've had the opportunity to meet and chat with studio [sensitive content hidden] on more than one occasion to reiterate my level of satisfaction with the software and how it impacts me/PL. I love to give love and support to those who have done the same for me!

Avantages :

Building real relationships with genuine people makes all the difference! I deeply value the support I receive and the opportunity to know exactly who I’m collaborating with on a software team. It’s incredible how much that personal connection positively impacts my business. Huge gratitude to the entire Arketa team for their dedication and partnership!

Inconvénients :

-Not having Apple Pay, -No font selections on branded app -More style selection options on buttons in branded app (I love how you can round the buttons-- but I don't like how the same function rounds the preview boxes of promo cards and video thumbnails) -Linked Instagram -- it would be cool to be able to link instructors' instagram profiles to their bio info

Dishonest from the first phone call

Commentaires : This is a dishonest company. They knew they planned on adding additional costs to the processing company's fees. When brought up they agreed to waive them, but this would only be for 1 year, then we'd have to deal with their excessive charges. Their fees they tack on weren't brought up until we started to transfer over to their system. At that point we told them we had no interest in dealing with them. It also turns out that their processing company, stripe, has a reputation for dropping customers who don't align with their political views (eg Rumble, Parlor and others).

Avantages :

There's nothing we saw in Arketa which was any better than any other CRM vendor.

Inconvénients :

When they contacted us we told them we weren't interested in talking with any company until we went over processing fees. It's the only concern we have with our current CRM company, WellnessLiving. They assured us our rates would be lower with their processing company. However, what they do, unlike every other CRM company is tack on additional percentages to what the processing company charges, so any savings are evaporated. Their monthly fees are higher, but the overall cost would have been lower. They wasted my time and the time of my team members.

Above and beyond expectations

Commentaires : The team at Arketa has been exceptional, from our first intro call to all the setup calls we had it has gone without a hitch. All questions we had were promptly resolved and the team had amazing suggestions for the functionalities we were looking for. I've never felt dismissed and they were so patient in supporting us through the setup!

Avantages :

Arketa ticked all the boxes (and more) when it came to the functionalities we needed for our yoga studio but if I had to pick just one it would be the user interface. After having an account, customers can make purchases with one click and they have an easy overview of all packages in their account.

Inconvénients :

There isn't anything we like less about the system, so far it has been perfect for us.

Commentaires : Fantastic! I loved meeting everyone. I felt seen and heard by everyone we've met and like our business really matters to the team and the company. Arketa feels like we got a whole community of friends and support when we signed up. Other software companies seemed like talking heads with zero interest in our dream and without any passion towards the fitness industry. Just sales bro's bullsh*ting about powerful tech. With Arketa it felt like something just clicked. This is a company I want to do business with. From the beginning there was mutual respect and immediate connection. Arketa is truly a special company and I am so honored to be a part of it!!

Avantages :

I loved their attention to detail, their energy and that everyone we spoke to was a practitioner of Yoga or Pilates. [sensitive content hidden] and [sensitive content hidden] we both amazing. [sensitive content hidden] has been super helpful during our onboarding process. I feel like everyone we have met and or worked with we have connected with.

Inconvénients :

There are some bugs in features that we ended up solving ourself. I think as a new software this always happens, I just hope it continues to get better as we move along with journey with Arketa.

Commentaires : Perfect, and I mean that. I was dragging my feet trying knowing I needed a new website and scheduling platform but I was hesitant to start the process because no one company ever seems to have exactly what you want. I responded to an ad for Arketa on Instagram and set up a demo and was hooked immediately and THANK GOD for that, because it has been a god send.

Avantages :

Absolutely EVERYTHING!!! The web design platform is easy to use and incredibly robust in what it offers you. Setting up my account was easy as well, all the steps are easy to find and follow. The integration with ClassPass has been a game changer, as has all of the integrations with Google and Zoom. I can not say enough about how much I love Arketa and what it has done for my studio in just a short time.

Inconvénients :

I have yet to find something that I don't like about this system.

I wish I had a designated representative I could call at any given time, but that's just me being needy. They are super quick at responding over chat and I really have no complaints.

Arketa platform for yoga business

Commentaires : I am a hands on learner and love to work with people so this was a challenge for me getting started as it was so brand new. I am happy to say my platform is up and running and that's in thanks to customer service helping me.

Avantages :

Ala Carte concept which works well for many different types of wellness businesses

Inconvénients :

Dependent upon the plan that you choose it can be hard to get some assistance initially. At a higher level tier plan you have access to live chat or video calls. My only recommendation here would be to offer a one time onboarding with a live staff member to help trouble shoot regardless of the plan you choose.

Commentaires : Overall I'm satisfied with the level of support and the minimal issues faced.

Avantages :

It's not as buggy as the previous system I've used! I've enjoyed the features built in, and the responsiveness of the support team thus far. Big thank you to [sensitive content hidden] from the onboarding team too.

Inconvénients :

The price is on the higher side. After currency conversion, it's a hefty sum to pay every month.

Commentaires : We enjoy using Arketa to build our online fitness community, customer service is generally quick and responsive.

Avantages :

Easy to use, well presented user app with a high level of functionality from the trainer side to build their business.

Inconvénients :

We experienced a few issues migrating over from via session in terms of duplicated payments. If there was a way of automatically uploading videos to Arketa would save trainers a lot of time.

Switching to Arketa was a great move for my yoga studio

Commentaires : Arketa has been a great move for our studio when migrating away from Mindbody. Having everything available and integrated on our Squarespace website has saved us money from being able to get rid of other programs and subscriptions.

Avantages :

The price is unbeatable for the amount of features offered. The integration to our Squarespace website is visually appealing and seamless. The customer service team is very responsive and helpful. The software is easy to use and straightforward.

Inconvénients :

There are a few random features that Arketa does not offer yet that would have made certain operations easier, but the team is always great about taking suggestions.

Avantages :

I've found Arketa easy to use, and the customer service is unmatched. My rep gets back to me quickly to answer or help with any questions I have. I know that Arketa has pivoted after the pandemic to accommodate in-person classes, and I've been super impressed that some of our requests for changes to the system have been made quickly. The functionality is exactly what we need for a small studio, and the price point can't be matched.

Inconvénients :

There's a bit of a learning curve for certain things on the backend, and I know that would be the same for any software.

Would recommend for a services based company

Avantages :

I like that I am able to merge all of my services and retail products into one system. I also love the fact that they are also my credit card processor, so it saves a lot of time and space to keep everything housed under one system!

Inconvénients :

It can be a little difficult to navigate sometimes, but there are always support people ready to help!

Commentaires : Overall I love that is a community and the team genuinely cares for your growth. No other software offers this kind of support.

Avantages :

Arketa has the best customer service. They genuinely care about each user and strive to make meaningful connections to help us grow our businesses. Not only does the software have on demand booking but also in studio class booking- which is major! Everything is all in one place. A lot of softwares don’t have this or if they do it is way over priced.

Inconvénients :

The only thing I feel like I’m missing is getting an email when a client cancels an in studio class reservation.

Commentaires : Overall very good. Team is responsive and helpful, software is much better than mindbody I was using before, and my community says the flow is great and easy to understand.

Avantages :

I love how it is customizable and can embed easily into my site. I love how fluidly in person, virtual, and on demand experiences can live side by side. Arketa has excellent customer service.

Inconvénients :

Waitlist feature is problematic. There is no fast and clear way of pulling up all the sessions used in a package. There could be more fluidity with payment: mainly the ability to apply payment to something already booked. It would be nice to display your availability for private appts separately from the ones that you reserve for ongoing clients.

We left Mindbody and haven't looked back!

Commentaires : The on-boarding process was straightforward. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] took the time to walk us through every step of the way and truly listened to our needs. We have only been using the software with our clients for a few days, and already we're receiving feedback that they are happy we switched. The transition from Mindbody to Arketa was definitely work, but it went as smoothly as we could have hoped. We are so glad we switched!

Avantages :

User friendly from both the consumer and business side. This software is intuitive and beautifully designed.

Inconvénients :

There are some "wishlist" items and we've been told the team is already developing some of the features we'd like to see. We have no doubts that this group is listening and very actively involved in the development and evolution of their software on a daily basis.

Arketa is great!

Commentaires : Overall I am very happy with Arketa for my online yoga studio. It allows me to take payments, schedule classes, workshops, and eventually my annual retreat. Everything is automated and I don't have to worry about sending out emails before each class or having to deal with credit cards, etc. I have been with Arketa for about a month and it has been great.

Avantages :

The depth of uses: classes, workshops, events, virtual classes, in person classes, it covers it all. It is relatively easy to use once you figure it out (and the onboarding sessions helped tremendously), and the support staff is great. If I can't find the answers I am looking for in their online articles, someone will get back to me typically within 24 hours.

Inconvénients :

Nothing is difficult to use per se, but some of the settings aren't as straightforward as they could be. Having multiple places to personalize emails is confusing. I can see the benefit of having multiple ways to address the same issue, but then you don't know which email is going out.

Commentaires : Overall, it's been a good experience. There seems to be a community of people in the same boat rather than the aloof "other clients." So you feel like there's more than just customer service. The account management team is great and willing to hop on a quick call with you when needed and genuinely want to know how things are going.

Avantages :

The software is incredibly easy to learn. The UX is straight forward. There are informational meetings to be onboarded and documents to walk you through everything at your own pace. I started with Arketa as an individual teaching virtually and transitioned into their studio version of the platform. The transition was seamless and the UX didn't change. I do like that it's so new the team at Arketa is always asking what else studios need in order to function. You work with other people who know your business from the inside out and understand the requests.

Inconvénients :

Being a new software, there are a few things that are in the works and aren't always easily accessible. Sometimes there are a few "tricks" to get around problems while we wait for the actual solution to be built.

Commentaires : Arketa is new - I appreciate their hustle much like my own. When I need help figuring something out - their tech team feels like I'm texting a friend. They are quick, efficient and appreciate how important the small things mean to my business and success. I am excited to continue to expand my business along with arketa!

Avantages :

arketa was a no brainer when taking my virtual business in person. clients can easily book classes both online and in studio as well as become a member to a digital library of on demand classes. the integration with my website and payment processor was and remains seamless!

Inconvénients :

There are a few kinks...a refund click will work some of the time, waitlists can be confusing and sometimes an account will now let a client use their credits....but truly all kinks seem to even out and there's always a work around.

Commentaires : Expect to realize many benefits the longer we use it and take advantage of the options they have for setting things up for our students to access our classes and events.

Avantages :

The customer service can't be beat and they are in the process of upgrading to add new features constantly. It's been really intuitive to use for the most part and I have been able to reach customer support whenever I needed. They are all curteous and super helpful. Also, this system keeps students on your website rather than leaving to go to their platform. It's great.

Inconvénients :

Haven't found anything I don't like yet.

Fitness for everyone

Commentaires : It is very easy to setup and to create a fitness plan.

Avantages :

It was very easy to assemble some workout videos and make them available to my employees.

Inconvénients :

It could probably use a wider range of exercise equipment.
