Door Loop customer satisfaction

Commentaires : There have been many problems solved using doorloop, especially receiving payments using online payment processing.

Avantages :

DoorLoop is very easy to use and someone is always available for assistance if needed. They are very accurate and prompt with their responses. There are also many help videos to watch that are very useful as well.

Inconvénients :

I seem to have difficulty with the task section of the program and don’t know exactly how helpful it is. Or maybe I have not used it enough yet to realize the importance. Oh.

Commentaires : DO NOT PURCHASE THE ANNUAL PACKAGE. This is not good for commercial property management. The reconciliation is horrible. You account balance will be off from your bank balance. The whole process to create a bill and pay it and then have to go to another tab to send it and sometimes it wont even add to the bill as a payment just an expense on the vendor and create even bigger problems. STAY AWAY. There are plenty of other options that have been around longer. They will not refund you if you are not happy with the service.

Commentaires : So far, our experience with DoorLoop has been exceptional. Help and training are readily available which has come in handy numerous times.

Avantages :

DoorLoop is incredibly user-friendly and the software operates in a very practical way. It is easy to add properties, tenants, etc., and its appearance and flow are what set it apart from other property management platforms. One of the most important things for our company was to have a tenant and owner portal and DoorLoop offered the best opinions for this feature.

Inconvénients :

The accounting and banking setup was a little more complicated than expected, but easily resolved with 1-on-1 training.

Commentaires : Excellent. Onboarding our team was fairly simple using Knowledge Base and the 1-on-1 onboarding training our system administrator received.

Avantages :

When our team was analyzing the various options for property management, precise rent tracking and communication with our tenants and owners was crucial. As we will be handling all repairs and maintenance in house, we wanted an easy system to track requests and completed work. We also wanted an owner portal for our property owners so they could view what is happening with their home and potentially answer questions they have without having to call us.

Inconvénients :

I have yet to find a feature I dislike or issue with the software.

Avantages :

DoorLoop has many great features. Our favorites are how the tenants can pay the rent, the transaction detail behind the rent, (Several of our tenants have several payments with their rent) and the reporting.

Inconvénients :

Our least favorite feature is the bank reconciliations. It can be a bit tedious if there are many transactions.

Love this software!

Avantages :

I have a small operation of rentals, and I've always struggled with softwares out there. Either they were too complicate, or too expensive for my needs. I came across Doorloop, and I had a few questions in the beginning, but the support staff were extremely helpful and got me going relatively quickly. Once I got those questions answered, I was off to the races!It's the support staff honestly that are the biggest pro in this whole thing. They are great!

Inconvénients :

I had a minor issue setting up a template in Doorloop, that was completely my fault. However, the support folks got me on a call and was able to remedy me in 2 minutes.

Excellent Property Management App

Avantages :

I love being able to use the app from my phone to monitor payments and tenant maintenance concerns. The ability to generate e-signatures for leases is a huge plus as well. Overall the platform is very user friendly and I would highly recommend it.

Inconvénients :

The only thing I would like is to be able to send longer text messages for the tenant communications/announcements.

Commentaires : well im staying with them... if i didn't like it I wouldn't be staying!!

Avantages :

I most importantly love the customer service. if you have an issue you cant figure out you hop on to the chat and they help you. if it is a more complex issue you schedule a zoom call and they walk you through it. They help teach you how to do what you need and not just how to bandaid fix it

Inconvénients :

they are a new company, still working out some kinks, but they are working them out, its a great platform and has vastly improved over the last year in my opinion.

Commentaires : Overall experience was very pleasant. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] was our specific trainer. He was very patient and knowledgeable.

Avantages :

It is easy to make corrections/adjustments to all transactions.It is to set up a property and once the property is set-up the financial side is ready to accept transactions. [This would not be the case if you were working with only an accounting software.]Support staff is very knowledgeable and patient.

Inconvénients :

Some accounting reports aren't available [ex. 1099s, Profit & Loss Detail Report, and Balance Detail Report - if you have worked with QBO/QBD you would get these reports with out any filtering]The system requires you to associate a project to every transaction, this is difficult if you are tracking commissions, but there is a way around this]Depositing of a rent deposit can be tricky, but once you learn it, it isn't difficult.

Commentaires : Everything that is important to us is integrated in DoorLoop and their customer service has been fantastic to get us up and running quickly.

Avantages :

We fired our property manager and looked for the best software solution for managing our properties. I had a long checklist because we had used Appfolio in the past… DoorLoop was the stand out best solution! It has all the functions of pricey management software at an affordable price and the customer service cannot be beat!

Inconvénients :

We are still learning the software and have not used all of the integrated functions yet. No complaints!

Commentaires : Customer service has been amazing. They are always willing to jump on a call and fix your problem. Software is great but the customer support is even better.

Avantages :

It is super powerful while also being simple to use.

Inconvénients :

I think front end websites are coming. That would be great. Also a few more options to track where a unit is in the lease process (ex, rented, vacant, under construction, notice, delinquent, eviction.) These would help us keep track of where units are in the process.

Commentaires : Truly revolutionary for our business. We definitely will be recommending this to others!

Avantages :

The training, onboarding, migration, and support. Getting started couldn't have been easier thanks to them holding our hand and walking us through the entire process. Switching from appfolio was no easy task, but they made it as quick and painless as possible.

Inconvénients :

They don't have every bell and whistle yet, but then again, we never really used them before either. This product is way more intuitive and user friendly since it hasn't been cluttered yet with an endless amount of features that no one uses.

Commentaires : I have really enjoyed my experience with doorloop. It is a great place for me to keep all things assistant/property manager related. Their Customer Services is beyond what I have every experienced!! They are so helpful and patient. I personally needed assistance with accounting and they helped me beyond what I was expecting. They are super quick to respond and assist with any questions you have.

Avantages :

The onboarding was very simple. Everything you need is in one place! There is a small learning curve, like there is with any other software, but once you use it for a little bit it's super easy and intuitive. I love that it will send out rent reminders automatically and tenants are able to pay rent through their own portal. It shows on the dashboard still owes rent. Much more efficient than tracking through Excel. It is also easy to track your income and expenses.

Inconvénients :

No cons that I am aware of. Everything has been great!

Commentaires : My experience has been very good because of the team. I am still confused with some of the software and reports but this is my first dive I. To property management.

Avantages :

This software has one huge advantage and that’s the customer service. Free unlimited one on one training sessions is worth its weight in gold. A lot of software out there on the market but none with this level of training.

Inconvénients :

I would say thier is a major learning curve. The software is still evolving so there is things it doesn't have that it needs but is in the works.

Multiple features promising time management, too many to implement at once. Piecemeal learning.

Commentaires : The learning curve of what the software does, manages, tracks & reports on has been long for me. If I saw an overview from an unfamiliar outsider standpoint to a fully functional software solution to property management issues, it would have been a game changer for my learning curve. My learning took longer because I didn't know where each piece fit in to managing a property. I never felt I knew where I was in the process of beginning to end what the software does. The videos should be "Teach me to use" not just "show how to enter"

Avantages :

The tech support chat feature has been a wonderful help! During business hours, there is a live person to answer my questions as specific or as general as I need. They've been knowledgable and easy to communicate with. I love that I can freely make suggestions to improve the software and they are open to receiving my input. It has definitely been my favorite part of using the software!

Inconvénients :

Some of my suggestions have been to improve the onboarding tutorial articles & videos. The nature of a tutorial is to assume the audience has no idea what you're doing or why. But many times I didn't see the 'big picture' before the minute detail of entering data, so I don't understand the "why" before the "do". As a newcomer, I did not see the data being used after it was inputted, so I didn't understand how & where it showed up in practice. (Running reports, sorting by property, searching for a work order, solving an accounting issue, etc) I would like to see each tutorial article made into a video. Each video should define what the terms mean in each module & show where they show up and how each can be used, sorted, searched, and why one would need to do so. So an Intro and Summary should be added to each video/article to show how it fits into property management usage. Each video should be feature focused so that the How-To is bringing us to Using a Feature. I'd like to see "example problem" videos that show how to navigate the software to find the solution. Another aspect is that some modules require multiple clicks to "drill down" into the part that needs to be edited, creating a deeper learning curve, but I guess when the software manages so many details, it needs to be parsed into sections. This product does not work well unless it is the sole method for managing the properties. For example, entering manual payments & deposits is cumbersome!

DoorLoop Has Lowered My Blood Pressure

Commentaires : Truly, DoorLoop has just let me breathe a sigh of relief. When life is busy on other vectors, I don't have to be checking on what day is is and who's paid what by when, or which leases are signed or renewing soon, or which insurance confirmations I have. I've always hated things like having to personally apply and insist upon late fees, and the software gives me a much more impersonal and even-handed way to enforce policies and rules across multiple tenants. I can immediately see what is or isn't wrong with a quick look at the dashboard. Now that I'm getting more comfortable with things like online signature templates and rental listings, I think it will be even easier going forward.

Avantages :

I went from renting out one house to managing 10 rental units in (literally, I'm not making this up) one day. And this was in addition to my Real Job of managing a small manufacturing company. It was a shocking transition and I quickly learned that I couldn't possibly keep track of 10 tenants, payments, late payments, books, etc. by myself and not lose my mind. I chose DoorLoop on the grounds of their customer service and features that simplified my fragmented life, like integrated online messaging, signatures, payments, and other tenant portal features. They also did a great job of helping me set it all up in the beginning, so my overtaxed and overstressed self didn't have to take yet more time to figure it all out from scratch. Customer service has also been great every time I've needed assistance since.

Inconvénients :

It can sometimes be a little complicated for what I need (for example, I do my main accounting in another package), but the more I get to know it, the more I realize that some of the features are things I might use later, or can easily skirt around. Basically, there's a learning curve... but I'm not sure how there ever wouldn't be with a full-featured software package. There seems to be a way I can get anything I need to do done, in a systematic and automated way... once I figure out what that is.

Commentaires : There are a couple of quality of life things that need improvement like being able to run reports on Units and not just properties.

Avantages :

[SENSITIVE CONTENT] was an absolute superstar, I had previous support before with the same questions and the person was unable to help me. At the 30 minute mark this initial person bolted out like the Flash. [SENSITIVE CONTENT] on the other hand stayed 30 minutes past the time to ensure that I had all my questions answered and that Doorloop was reflecting the correct assets in my accounts.

Inconvénients :

Last person was potato. And the people in the chat are also not much help. Specially since they cant call you and you have to try and explain complex issues over chat. Never ends well.

Makes your company organized

Avantages :

Doorloop forces you to stay organized. As property managers, there isn't enough time in the day to get everything done or get back to prospects or active tenants that have questions or maintenance requests. When we needed to find any document, lease agreement, contract, or anything in general, it would take forever to comb through our emails, digital and paper files, even though we were already scanning everything into our Dropbox. We still can everything, but now we put it directly into Doorloop so it's searchable in one click and we can see everything based on each property, unit, or tenant. It sounds silly, but the search button on the top left of the program is probably one of our most heavily used features. We're able to find any document, lease, tenant, or task instantly. For all the property managers out there reading this: if youre like me and know you could be more organized, give doorloop or any of the other programs a try. Anything is better than nothing, trust me.

Inconvénients :

I still wish I had more time in the day!

Commentaires : Our experience with Doorloop has been amazing since always! I love how fast they can help me out to get things sorted and fixed. I'm new in this real state field and they always took the time to explain and lead me.
Nowadays, the customer service we receive from most companies is always a disaster!

- Really fast and simple way to create leases. - Great accounting reports. - EXCELLENT SUPPORT BY THE WHOLE TEAM IN JUST A COUPLE OF MINUTES. - All the information I need from tenants. - Great "Ending leases" warning that help us keep %100 occupancy in all our properties.

Inconvénients :

- I'd like to be able to edit "Room" and "Property" directly from a Tenant. Some of them switch rooms or houses and I have to create a new profile and delete the previous one. Having this facility would be awesome!

Ease and Efficiency – Helping my business grow

Avantages :

DoorLoop’s software helps me to easily keep track of prospects, bills, delinquencies, vendors, and so much more. I used to be inundated with paperwork, but now I am so much more organized. Frankly, DoorLoop is helping me save money while scaling. I also, know one of the owners very well and trust him. And if he is involved, then in addition to DoorLoop being a great software, the company itself is in very good hands.

Inconvénients :

While I am super happy about being one of the first users (we call ourselves Loopers), I wish I could have invested in this product…it is really that good. But if I had to choose something, I wish they had a service that customized the checks I use to pay vendors, versus me having to order them separately from another vendor.
