The best thing I like about Appen is the opportunity to work on different projects at the same time. They offer great opportunities like Translation, Transcription, search engine evaluators

Commentaires : It has been a great working experience with Appen. I have earned a good amount of money by just doing very simple tasks that doesn't require any special skills.

Avantages :

The most amazing thisng is that it help us to generate extra income by applying and doing simple tasks such as image capturing, transcribing, web analytics etc.

Inconvénients :

The only thing I like the least about it is sometimes, there are tasks showing in the task list but they are not functional, he reason might be availability of the particular project.

Great platform for earning money

Commentaires : It is very good for freelancing service but only think is it always uses payoneer payment method for withdrawal money that method can take so 3usd charge per transaction. other things are great in this service.

Avantages :

It's the best for freelancing service and this can be taken by conducting tests before getting tasks. For quality services purposes.

Inconvénients :

It's only uses payoneer payment method only that taking so much cuts of money.

Very confusing and frustrating to use

Commentaires : The first few things I've accomplished with Appen like signing up, logging in, and applying are smooth. The rest take much of my time that I felt was wasted. In the end, after I thought I got the job because I received an email from them, I still can't get through with it. Overall experience was very frustating.

Avantages :

I like that it is easy to download, register and login.

Inconvénients :

The problem is that once you are on the app/website there are buttons where it says "Work This", but when you clicked on it you'll receive an error. In short, this button is completely useless, so why is it there in the first place?

Best earning and crowdsourcing platform

Commentaires : Appen is used to earn some money by completing some easy tasks. It pays average to the taskers. But the payment processor Payoneer charges almost 3 USD for transaction.

Avantages :

Appen provides the opportunity to earn online by giving small tasks to the contributors on the platform. These tasks are used to train Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. This platform can be used to obtain data required by client from the contributors. It compensates the contributors based on the work hours.

Inconvénients :

Several tasks are unavailable due to high amount of responses from the users. The only payment option available in this platform is Payoneer. We didn't get any response from appen if our application not selected for tasks.

Commentaires : The rules are very strict. You have to pass a qualification exam to have access to the tasks.

Avantages :

I got to know Appen in 2017 while working on the platform of one of its partners. Micro-projects are constantly published there and offer great ways to make money by offering your expertise to companies and individuals.

Inconvénients :

The remuneration is sometimes below the effort deployed, the percentage rating system is sometimes excessive.

Took a long time to get in the door but once your in it pays

It allows me to keep up with technology and put in my educational background to help companies further themselves in technology. It helps the internet become better and more informative.

It took a long time to get myself in door and sometimes it hard to understand the needs of each project.

Needs improvement

Commentaires : It is simple, it gives you options, but needs improvement with the mobile integration and support response.

Avantages :

I like that integrates mobile usage with the app, you have the option to search for a specific project, or you can see all the projects and choose one to work with, the interface is simple so it makes it kind of intuitive.

Inconvénients :

Even when you are applying for mobile projects, sometimes you just need to get on the desktop version because on the mobile app you just can't see them or look for them, so i think there is need for improvement on the integration.

Using Appen as a par time freelancer

Commentaires : Even if I didn't earn any money till now ,but am discovering new stuffs and trying to get something worth at the end. Except for the frustration to sign on every time, my experience is not that bad.

Avantages :

It gives a chance different kind od work that are manageable to do it in my own free time, it's website is well organized and could be accessed well.

Inconvénients :

I have very difficult time to sign in to my account, specially when I try to sign in on my laptop with the same account that I used on my mobile phone, because of that I was forced to create two different accounts

Lovely Software For Remote Workers

Avantages :

This software is quite easy to navigate and most of the action is done through the app on your mobile device, the mobile recorder. It has a social community that you can use to interact with other appen users and you're able to complete your own invoices for work done.

Inconvénients :

As a new user I had no idea of how to get paid for work that was done as I was not assigned to any teams or managers to guide me through using this software efficiently.

Commentaires : Until now, I still use Appen as one of platforms that can generate extra money for me, flexible work time , good payment and easy to operate. There also some tasks that doesn't take much time to finish so I can take several jobs at once and of course I makes more money. So overall i will highly recommend this app to my friend and family who wants to earn extra money from home

Avantages :

Appen is a platform to find a side job or more pocket money but not fast money. how to use and registration process also very easy depends on their qualifications. They also provide a training forum or event for new users which will beneficial to increase the agents/contractors personal skill

Inconvénients :

the weakness of this software is that there is no certainty of long-term work contracts and also not all agents or independent contractors can get new projects / work assignments, and the waiting time for one project can be very long, depending on the project itself. Some are fast and some arent

Basicamente Appen puede ayudar con cualquier tipo de tareas

Avantages :

Appen dispone de un red muy grande a través de la cuál se puede realizar cualquier tipo de tarea: Webscrapping, data entry, transcriptions, ...etc A cambio de fees muy razonables

Inconvénients :

Estaría genial ofrecer el onboarding y atención al cliente en Español, Francés, entre otros. Actualmente solo está disponible en inglés.

Appen is awesome

Avantages :

This software and website has made it very easy to find and hire people for different jobs, there are plenty of jobs available and you can post a gig for other people to work. I myself have used this software and its mobile recorder very easily. The website is easily navigationable and easy for the eyes.

Inconvénients :

The most time consuming thing about appen is the amount of paperwork you have to read and fill out before applying for a job.

- Plenty available jobs - Registration is easy, simple. - Payment is prompt. Straight to my Payoneer, no delays. As a freelancer, there are many data entry jobs on Appen to choose from no matter where you come from. The platform makes it easy to upload my audios, images and videos tasks.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes, it takes forever for an applicant (contractor) to get a feedback from Appen regarding an application status! Their customer service is DEAD! You only get their bulk circular emails, but no reply to the questions you asked.

I like have a multiple choice to work. Various projets, we have the choice

So long trainings hours, sometimes 8 hours, qualificztion tests etc.

Commentaires : Good experience overall but it should save more time for contractors.

Avantages :

I connect at least once a month on Appen as a contractor and user. I have already performed data entry tasks, recording and uploading documents. The website work fine.

Inconvénients :

I had some trouble with the mobile app, I had to make two requests for support. Also, it is not clear how I can perform tasks being in Brazil and French as my main language. It should be easier to move from one country to another as your location can change during the year.

Customer support can be improved. The reply to emails should be faster.
