Greatly simplifies time tracking

Commentaires : My overall experience has been excellent. Customer service is particularly impressive: highly responsive and extremely helpful.

Avantages :

timeBro makes time tracking much simpler. Rather than needing to remember to manually shift between activities, it magically tracks precisely what you have been doing when. That means no risk of forgetting activity.

Inconvénients :

The analytics screen has somewhat less attractive design than the previous software I used. But this is a minor and insignificant gripe.It can be time consuming to shift activity from memory aid/calendar to time entry. But ultimately I believe it's better to spend time on this than on trying to remember what I did when. It's important to get into the habit of completing time entries at the end of each day.

The only time tracker I consistently use

Commentaires : I am constantly flipping back and forth between tasks for different clients. No way can I remember to always stop and start my timer. I LOOOOVE the detailed activity shown on the calendar and how easy it is to adjust my daily report to bill the right clients with the detail they want. Can send it straight to Harvest

Inconvénients :

Unfortunately, TimeBro doesn't read my mind, so when I work on client projects while away from the computer, I still have to go back in to enter the time I spent offline.

No communication before contract renewal

Avantages :

For timetracking you work activitities it is a good tool. You get a clear overview and timesheets so you will save time for tracking your hours.

Inconvénients :

Their auto renewal for the contract. I do not need to use the tool anymore, however you do not get notified that the contract will be renewed. I just received an email with the invoice that my two year contract is automatically renewed. I reached out to the support centre however you receive an email that I should have checked the customer portal or when signing the contract. They can communicate with you when they can earn money, but they cannot communicate like a professional company to provide their customers a heads up. In two years a lot can change and like a normal company and human-being it should be possible to communicate in advance with regards to a new contract.

Automatic Time Tracking Saved me

Avantages :

I was having issues tracking my time. Working for a consulting company has made this a critical part of my job. No other tool worked as well with automatic tracking as TimeBro. I pay for it myself and it is well worth the investment. I would love to see the rest of the company move in this direction. As long as there is an affordable single user option, I will always use this product.

Inconvénients :

I have had some weird issues with my computer restarting or closing a Zoom or Teams meeting. I don't know why and it may not be related to Timebro at all. I am curious if the automatic tracking is what is causing the crash.

Comprehensive time tracking with minimal overhead

Commentaires : I do a lot of consulting work for my clients which requires that I read through many documents and write reports. I needed a way to track how I spend in research and in writing and I needed to be able to split it out by client. What I love about timeBro is that it automatically tracks what I'm doing and shows the titles of the docs I'm reading or writing so I can easily categorise which client to bill.

Avantages :

The automatic time-tracking is the best feature from my perspective. I have having to interrupt my flow in order to log my time. I love the way timeBro shows me the application I was working in as well as the title of the document.

Inconvénients :

There are many additional features built into timeBro that I will never use.

timeBro pays for itself almost instantly

Commentaires : It makes time tracking much easier. I can't overstate how much I hate time tracking, but with timeBro, it's not even an inconvenience.

Avantages :

Its automatic tracking and "Memory Aid" features ensure I don't forget billable time. One hour covered my yearly expense for this software, and it's helped me remember much more than that.

Inconvénients :

The _only_ thing I really wish timeBro had was the ability to search for items in the Memory Aid. I asked the live support on their website, and they noted that the feature will be available in an upcoming version. Otherwise, I can't think of a single missing feature. I _did_ occasionally have to resync with my Zoho Books account for whatever reason, but it's not difficult or time consuming, and there was no information lost along the way.

timeBro is great for tracking time

Avantages :

Being able to assign activities to different projects is very helpful for me in completing my time sheet weekly.

Inconvénients :

I wish it were possible to search keywords and assign projects automatically. I also wish there were a free version.

I didn't realize how often I under-billed clients

Commentaires : timeBro is literally download & go. It's easy to use, inexpensive, and an invaluable investment. I've tried different manual methods to track my billable hours and my inconsistency cost me money. The digital methods either still required me to open the software to start and end for the different categories I track, or were too costly.

Avantages :

timeBro's automatic tracking works in the background and I can determine how I want this feature to bundle my time (I use 10-minute chunks). I appreciate the flexibility of creating my own categories based on whether a client hires me for technical writing or to manage their proposal development.

Inconvénients :

I wish there less click-throughs to categorize my time bundles.

Avantages :

Mit TimeBro lässt sich asynchron die Zeit zu den zu bearbeitenden Aufgaben tracken bzw. zuordnen. Durch die Synchronisation mit Projektmanagement Software sind die eingetragenen Zeiten direkt auf den entsprechenden Aufgaben zu finden. Ich habe die Synchronisation bis jetzt mit ClickUp und Jira verwendet. TimeBro ist schnell zu verstehen und einfach zu bedienen. Ich kann es nur empfehlen zum tracken der Arbeitszeit.

Inconvénients :

Die Auswertung und Diagramme der getränkten Zeit könnte übersichtlicher gestaltet sein und etwas aussagekräftigere Statistiken anzeigen.

Zeiterfassung einfach gemacht

Commentaires : Mit timeBro habe ich die lästige Thematik der Zeiterfassung mit der Stoppuhr endlich loswerden können. Ich würde timeBro jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Insbesondere die Anbindung an MOCO, welches wir auch verwenden, ist genial einfach und erleichtert mir die Zeiterfassung sehr. Ideal wäre, wenn auch die Telefonate getrackt werden könnten, aber dies liegt wohl ausserhalb von timeBro's Spektrum.

Avantages :

Die automatische Erfassungen der Tätigkeiten ohne Stoppuhr finde ich sehr gut gelöst. Somit muss ich nicht immer an die Stoppuhr denken, sondern kann mich auf die Arbeit konzentrieren und erst nach getaner Arbeit die Zeiten erfassen. Da ich sehr viel zwischen verschiedenen Projekten hin und her wechseln muss, vereinfacht mir timeBro die Zeiterfassung enorm. Ich erfasse die Zeiten nach dem Arbeitstag und nicht zwischen durch und bin trotzdem sicher, dass ich alles korrekt erfasst habe und muss mich nicht selber daran erinnern.

Inconvénients :

Teilweise erkennt timeBro die Applikation nicht, welche gerade verwendet wird. Dies liegt aber meistens an der Applikation selber und kann vom timeBro nicht gross beeinflusst werden. Toll wäre auch, wenn timeBro die Browsertab Namen erkennen würde, dies würde es vereinfachen, herauszufinden, welcher der vielen Tabs gerade aktiv war.

Splendid solution for timekeeping for any business or company billing hours

Commentaires : I am a huge fan, I hate writing hours. Always forgetting minutes to bill without timeBro.

Avantages :

The tracking of all MS Office software activities is remarkable. And glad Spotify or Itunes is ignored.

Inconvénients :

Like a feature to be able to copy projects. Most project have the same activities. And a a consultant I have multiple projects monthly. Takes time to create a new project which only the customers name difference.

Hands-off time-tracking

Commentaires : I do a lot of proof-reading and copy-editing of articles submitted to our psychology journal. I need to keep track of which edition I'm working on and which author's article I'm editing. timeBro allows me to keep all this categorised easily.

Avantages :

It tracks my time without me having to start or stop it.

Inconvénients :

I can't think of anything lacking. timeBro seems to have everything I need.

Excellent Time and Project Management Assistant

Avantages :

Love the fact that TimeBro is working away in the background, recording my work. It helps me to manage my time, see where I am procrastinating or diving down unimportant rabbit holes, and also to manage my accountability and billing with clients.

Inconvénients :

So far I am totally positive about my experience with TimeBro.

TimeBro is great for tracking client work and billable expenses

Avantages :

I like the fact that I can look back at what I'm working on to divide my time between clients and projects. The integration with Clockify, which I use for my independent contractors, is awesome. I'm able to easily synchronize TimeBro data with my main time tracking app, making my overall reporting process very smooth.

Inconvénients :

Sometimes, there is activity tracked which I can't identify due to the website not maintaining data on which client I'm working on. The URL for a given website (e.g., QuickBooks Online) is the same for whichever client I'm working on. If there was a way to capture additional data, it would make my life even easier. This isn't necessarily an issue with TimeBro.

Really loving TimeBro

All good. Found it a bit difficult to understand the errors when communication with Zoho Projetc, but I understand them now and can address them quickly.I have a Chrome Book which is not support by TimeBro.

Understanding the errors from Zoho Projects was hard. The projects that are archived seem to become active again when I sync (not sure if this is the reason)

Avantages :

Good product, does what it says on the tin. Time tracking and customisable projects and activities are useful for invoicing multiple clients.

Inconvénients :

The calendar function is fiddly and if you want to pull and activity to a longer timeslot it is a little buggy.

Helps with time sheets, without privacy concerns

Avantages :

It does what it says - tracks your activity in the background and makes a local record, in calendar view. Helpful for time sheet tracking when you’ve got to account for time in 15min increments.

Inconvénients :

The UI is pretty simple and could use some UX love.

Game Changer!

Avantages :

TimeBro fills the in the gaps with supplemental information and helps me to stay on top of my finances.

Inconvénients :

I don't love the name :) But the software itself is amazing.
