Avantages :

I've tested different services before knowing Scrapingbee and haven't changed it since. Scraping responses have very low response times (maybe the lowest among all others).The API service has never known degradation or processing delays since I've been using it. Their usage documentation is very simple, examples are offered in any programming language, you just need to add to your code what the ScrapingBee request builder prepares.I just had one problem that was resolved in less than 24h thanks to the fantastic assistance from [sensitive content hidden]. Support responds almost instantaneously and also helps you formulate any more complex scraping requests.With their help, in fact, they don't abandon you but they suggest checks and JS codes capable of truly extracting any type of data, even the most difficult.

Inconvénients :

There is nothing that I can suggest to increase the quality of service, it's the best in entire market.

Rotating Proxies That Work!

Avantages :

I set up ScrapingBee to rotate proxy IP addresses when scraping tens of thousands of pages from search engines and eCommerce websites. These are typically more difficult to scrape, but even the cheaper rotating proxies on ScrapingBee have rarely been blocked. If they are (occasionally) blocked, I only pay for successful returns, so I have not encountered any downside.

Inconvénients :

I have only had one issue where ScrapingBee accidentally assigned proxies from the wrong country, rendering my html in a different language. But this was a brief issue and has never happened since.

Best Scraper out there

Avantages :

API works consistently and efficiently across many domains.

Inconvénients :

Their stealth proxies are amazing but quite pricey!

Great Scraper with filtering features

Commentaires : Very good! Makes my life easier by scraping content on our projects.

Avantages :

It’s reliable and we have filters to do searches from elements inside a page scrap, this is the best feature so far. Their premium proxy is also very good and makes that all scrap don’t get caught by any captcha or something like.

Inconvénients :

Maybe if we have more plans options it would be great.

Commentaires : Good. When I got stuck, customer support solved it within 5 min.

Avantages :

It does the thing I want it to do -- It scrapes web pages.

Inconvénients :

I don't think it can scrape PDFs which I encounter quite a bit with my scraping.

Powerful product, simple to use, clear docs

Commentaires : My first day I realized that this is the best I've been able to find so far and I don't even need anything extra, so I got the subscription instantly. Very satisfied so far.

I think the UI could be more serious. My first impression not very professional. I don't know, probably it's just my opinion.

Simple and powerfull scrapinh tool

An effective, easy to use web scraping proxy service

Commentaires : I had a scraping project that used many of the features in ScrapingBee. I wanted to scrape about 600k .json documents from a public API. I also wanted screenshots of those pages, and to extract various data from the corresponding HTML pages. ScrapingBee offered good options for all the cases. Finally, I wanted to get the Instagram follower counts for about 200k Instagram accounts. Instagram is super aggressive about blocking, but by using premium proxies, and resetting the session on each call, I was successful here too. That site I was scraping does block you after several thousand pages from a single IP, so I needed to use a proxy service. I never got blocked once I was using Scraping bee.

Avantages :

It has a well-documented, fairly easy-to-use API that covers a whole range of scraping situations. (I talk more about that below). You can choose Javascript rendering or not, residential or data-center proxies, screenshots, etc. I was never blocked once during my scraping. They are a small, responsive startup. I did run into a reproducible bug with their data extraction API, but they clearly made it a priority and had a new release fixing the problem the very next day. (Since they're in France, time zones worked out well and that was really first thing the next morning for me.)

Inconvénients :

It would have been nice to be able to get a screenshot and the data on the page at the same time. At present, you can only get one or the other, so I had to run it twice.

Scraping Bee - The Perfect Black Box Solution

Commentaires : We were looking for a Black Box solution that we could easily intergrate with our internet data collection system. We wanted to be able to send our HTTP requests to a service that could handle all of the security issues related to web data extraction, and then return the raw results of the HTTP request. The service has to be virtually invisable to our processes. Scraping Bee is the perfect Black Box solution. In addition to the ease of implementation we needed a highly reliable service with great technical support. Our data collection processes run 24/7 and Scraping Bee is a great partner. When a target site puts up significant challenges the support team always finds a soltion to keep us running.

Avantages :

Scraping Bee is reliable and easily integrates with our systems. Great technical support!

Inconvénients :

We have found no Cons with Scraping Bee.

ScrapingBee is a game changer

Avantages :

So easy to use. Can tackle any website's limitation or blocking. Dashboard is so user friendly.

Inconvénients :

The pricing is a little high, but for us only, since we are still a small startup. But I must recognize that the price/quality ratio is excellent.

ScrapingBee is a huge value add for scraping.

Commentaires : Super. It was a clutch play for us. We'd been scraping manually and running into all of the expected headaches. So we did a wide review of the market and after several evaluations, we went with ScrapingBee. Once we tried it, we were absolutely convinced we had the right one. So much better than the competition.

Avantages :

It was quick to set up. There is tons of support and the documentation is good. The product works as advertised and the extraction rules are totally awesome. I set them up and get valid JSON every time with name/value pairs that I am looking for. Awesome! This product unlocks and accelerates our options.

Inconvénients :

It could be faster. I get a round trip that is about 30 seconds. I haven't collected statistical data on this yet. It's something I'll get to after I've used this more. I don't suppose there would be such a thing as too fast, but I'd like to accelerate it some, if possible.

Commentaires : I used another API provider for a few years but wasn't satisfied with it. Then, I discovered ScrapingBee, and (almost) everything is better: it's well-documented, their request-builder is easy to use and very convenient, and many websites that I couldn't access with the previous API are easily scraped with ScrapingBee. I also noticed some features (such as JS scenarios) that I haven't used yet but could prove to be really useful.

Avantages :

They had better results than my previous API and their website is really useful (documentation, request builder, etc.).

Inconvénients :

Response time seems slightly longer than my previous API.

Great for building custom database based on scrapers

Commentaires : I got this project from a client to build a real estate database from multiple portals.I've setup my web application structure and defined crawlers for the different portals and I had ScrapingBee in mind to try it out so this way I would focus on the product and avoid spending time on scraping infrastructure.I've found the tool very easy to set up, with great examples and documentation, and also found the pricing affordable.We'll see how everything scales but for now I'm very happy with the tool!

Nothing important. Like all products probably there's room for improvement but had no issues for now.

Commentaires : Exactly as it seems from my review in general - super happy with the product, couldn't find any other alternative to it if I take into account all of the parameters.

I couldn't find any other online proxy service that would even compete with this service, when I take into account the ease of deployment, requests concurrency, relatively low price and great customer service

Inconvénients :

If it would be possible to have a bit more control over the IPs I receive from the service, it would have been great. for some of the use cases it could be beneficial, even that in general I managed to pull off what I wanted without it

Great customer service

Avantages :

The customer service is great! [sensitive content hidden] helped me integrate ScrapingBee into our workflow. He helped me debug my code and was very knowledgable. I'm also very glad for ScrapingBee's Proxy Mode. The automated rotating proxies is exactly what I needed for my use case.

Inconvénients :

Since what I want is mostly concurrency (not a huge request volume) the plans don't necessarily match my needs exactly.

Commentaires : My experience with ScrapingBee so far has been great. I'm using it as a freelancer at accomplishing a data analytics project where I need to get some publicly available data on real estate. The API works great and the requests go smoothly.

Avantages :

What I liked the most with this service is it's ease of use. The documentation is great and clear. I'm really impressed also by the user interface of the website which is very intuitive and the dashboard is great at visualizing your use of API credits.

Inconvénients :

So far I have nothing to complain about.

Setting up ScrapingBee is easy. The documentation is thorough and clear. And they have great resources on how get what you want from your scraping. Best of all their customer service is responsive and helpful. I tried a few other products and found the service slow or non-existant.

Inconvénients :

They recently removed the lowest pricing tier. While it's good value, I'd have trouble recommending it to people not needing a lot of credits.
