Commentaires : Ramco has been an great company to work with. Their support team and executive is knowledgeable and will work with their clients to establish needs and appropriate changes.
As with any software provider the implementation is key to success and the go live requires a "leap of faith" that works well when it is supported by every level of the business.

Avantages :

The tool provides multiple paths that can be taken to arrive at a solution which makes it flexible a flexible product. The front line mechanic page is very well structured. The after purchase support is excellent and Ramco continues to work with us well into the production to support changes in our business and the tools..

Inconvénients :

Could be more intuitive in design. It is not a tool that can be picked up without detailed training. Their base product would benefit from more customizable dashboards

Commentaires : Ramco has helped us overall to insure that our maintenance inspections are being complied adequately. Our quality control to be able to do our in-house audits to ensure safety to our aircraft and parts.

Commentaires : On the outside, you'll be baffled by the variety of tasks that this program is capable of doing, it does it all. However, as they say, "jack of all trades, master of nothing". The processes and procedures for maintenance and inventory is a complete waste of time and employee resources. As you get deeper into the software, you will find it even more confusing and frustrating. Functionality has been built into SOME of the components but it just seems like a patchwork of bandaid fixes. As an operator, you should be able to bring a new hire online within a week or two of working in the system, but, after years of struggling with this program even the most computer literate people cannot get it to run smoothly on a consistent basis. Support is pretty basic and the in program error messages make absolutely no sense at times, as though it was translated from a previous 4 languages with google translate, by a 4 year old child. This program is about as intuitive as a dime store fortune telling machine and I would recommend that you avoid this disaster of software. If you decide to go with this program, please enjoy the pages filled with useless links and dead ends. The other "consultants" that have commented here have obviously never used the software but have been drawn in by the shiny packaging and massive commissions. Please do not buy this program, there are so many other more useful and economical solutions out there. Winair, camp, ams, microsoft excel to name a few.

All features are rich and could be set quite finely depending on the usage. Everything is integrated so all informations pass through the departments.

Training and learning materials to help people starting and growing on the application are not developed enough

My Firsthand Experience with Ramco

Avantages :

A real-time equipment request system for technicians on the shop floor saves a lot of time. The built-in interactive portal feature makes communication between teams easier and more efficient. Overall, this software is designed to make task management simpler and faster for everyone involved.

Inconvénients :

Not at the moment, I'm happy with RAMCO Aviation . I've been using their software for some time now and haven't had any major issues. The customer service is great, they are always willing to help if I need it. All in all, a great product and excellent customer service. Keep up the good work.

RAMCO Production Review

Commentaires : Overall RAMCO is a powerful tool with many upsides. I have a super user access and mainly deal with MX Programs, Configuration, Compliance and Component Inductions. Ramco is able to preform these functions fairly well. One big thing that you need to be aware of is that you need to understand all transactions have a specific function that does have a specific sequence in which to preform. If that is done correctly, RAMCO data is very reliable.

Avantages :

Powerful software with the ability to link several organizational functions onto one common platform. One software to manage most of the company functions cuts down on add on programs which is a nice feature. Web based allows you to access anywhere you have internet connection. Ability to export most data screens into excel is extremely useful. Customized search tool that can be user developed are very powerful and can save time. Customer support is extremely helpful when required.

Inconvénients :

The need to navigate through many different screens to complete a transaction is cumbersome. Layout is not simple, each screen has a lot of information and links/options. Once you use the software enough you begin to navigate quickly but initially its quite difficult to find the screen you are looking for. Depending on level of user, the flow to complete certain functions is not apparent which can lead to missed data inputs. You really need to know what you are doing in order to understand how one actions affects another. Would like to see a concise training document to aid in the complex functions.

Ramco in NZ

Avantages :

Digital records make it so much easier to search and monitor records. We have recently had an escalation program approved by the regulator which significantly reduces the operating costs of our aircraft. Collating the required trend/reliability data would not have been achievable without digital records.

Inconvénients :

Not so much features are missing but there are a few areas which could do with slight improvements to assist our operations. Ramco are open to suggestions and will implement but this takes a very long time.

Commentaires : Overall experience I have with Ramco has been great. Feedback between us and the Support Team is wonderful. Lots of changes we have requested and the Team has been able to fix or direct us in the correct directions.

Avantages :

The Ramco software I like most is the fact that it allows the company to track a large amount of data between departments. Ease to upgrade to help users access and complete their jobs without issues.

Inconvénients :

The ability to add and remove hyperlinks for each user or role.

Commentaires : Being a strategic turnaround and performance improvement consultant to large Operators and MROs, I have to be pessimistic, grounded and realistic about the guidance I offer to my customers. Be that as it may, the depth of capability and value that Ramco provides matches the best in the MRO Software game; atleast based on our review and and evaluation. The time spent on mastering the deep functionality is made easy with the well thought through user interfaces. It has improved the way we manage our airline and MRO customers. I only wish they have a mandarin version of their software to cater to my new market, China, which I hear is coming soon.

Great MRO Solution Provider - Love the Mobility aspect!

Commentaires : Glad to see a MRO solution that understands that mobility is absolutely required out on the tarmac, without sacrificing accuracy to achieve it. Truly a 360º Solution...
