Outstanding Product and Customer Service

Commentaires : I have an overwhelming positive experience. We worked with [sensitive content hidden] for the 2nd year in a row. He was ALWAYS available to answer our many questions and the man is extremely professional and patient. Big reason we came back to GolfStatus. Also, the product works very well and have no reason to look outside of their services. Well done!

Avantages :

The site is so easy to use for the end user and the admin user. I have everything I need via the web or the app. I received so many compliments on the ease of use for our supporters. I couldn't be happier.

Inconvénients :

I would encourage you to look at the live scoring option a little easier to use. For instance, the "back and forward" arrows don't seem to work when you press with your finger on the phone. It was a bit clunky, but ultimately did work. The check-in and play option was a bit confusing to a new user. Maybe color code them a bit better for people just wanting to play asap.

Commentaires : Our reps have always been extremely helpful and responsive, no matter if our tournament is the next day, or a year out. It's always very comforting knowing we have them there to help.

Avantages :

I like the ease of use with golf status and that they make it a seamless transition each year for us by building out the page for us, we just make small adjustments based on what we've changed on our end. I like that our customers seem to have a fairly easy time getting their information loaded in.

Inconvénients :

For some reason this year, the website feature was not working for our sponsors. Whenever they would try to add their website, it would say that it was not a URL so I would then get a phone call and I'd have to tell them to just not add a website and I would then add it later. I also don't like that I can't prioritize packages by reordering them on my own. They're instead automatically ordered by price so then sometimes it's confusing because certain things should naturally go together/next to each other.

Commentaires : Great customer service. Jon was assigned to me and was always available. He was always re-assuring me that we are in good shape and kept it upbeat and positive even when I was losing my mind. Response time before and after the tournament was great. Use of the emergency number helped.

Avantages :

I love having control over the teams and making changes right away. There are so much more that I see we can do but I didn't dive into it but will surely be more into the system next year. Loved being able to print the lists as soon as making changes. I'll probably utilize the sign options more.

Inconvénients :

I can't really say what I didn't like about it. We had a little hiccup, but it was more user error not being familiar with the system. Came up with a game plan for next year so we won't have that hiccup.

Alleviate Your Admin Duties with GS!

Commentaires : Overall experience was top-notch! The customer support as an admin was very hands-on as we prepped for our first event using GS. I loved that printouts were available already on how to use the app for scorekeeping. It made it easy for us to "sell" our participants on using the app over a paper scorecard.

Avantages :

I like that it's a one-stop shop with respect to scorekeeping and registration. Some sponsored items were easily ordered with GS's help, but I would appreciate even more involvement in this aspect of event planning. One of the major headaches I experience is ordering sponsored items off of 3rd party sites, proofing artwork, ensuring timely production and delivery, fronting the money, and requesting reimbursement from the sponsor. Lots of coordination! I appreciated the experience we had with GS and our pin flag sponsor, for example. Once the sponsorship slot was filled, all that was needed was the logo and payment to cover the expense. GS took care of the rest (thank you!).

Inconvénients :

As a person crunching the numbers and keeping tabs on all of our donors/contributions, it would be helpful if there was a download that has a comprehensive list of all participants (regardless of their classification) to see how are proceeds were derived from. Even having 1 tab on a download contain contact names, email addresses, package(s) purchased, and purchase amounts would have saved me some time grabbing information from different sources.

Avantages :

The customer support is probably the top highlight of GolfStatus. [sensitive content hidden] was quick to respond when needed, and previous employees we have worked with had the same urgency. The platform has a sleek design and setup is pretty straightforward.

Inconvénients :

We were disappointed to learn that the discount codes now carry a cost with using them.

ASHRAE Golf outing

Avantages :

The user interface and ease of managing a golf outing is so much easier with GolfStatus. I have used this service for about 5 years now, and it makes running a golf outing a breeze.

Inconvénients :

I can't really find a con. I have tried running golf outings without GolfStatus, and there is no way I would go back to the old way.

First time managing a golf tournament, done and check!

Commentaires : It was very good! I was thankful my new employer was already established with GolfStatus and had used them for the last two tournaments, so GolfStatus was also familiar with our organization. It made this "unfamiliar" world of golf for me easier to navigate!

Avantages :

This was my first time organizing a golf tournament. I am not a golfer and even though I have managed countless events, this one felt intimidating to me. Jon from GolfStatus reached out to introduce himself to me and offer a tutorial of the platform which was super helpful and was very timely in responses to any questions I had throughout the months leading up to our tournament. The site was very intuitive and user friendly. The day after the tournament he sent an email asking how it went and offered to schedule a post-event debrief call, which we did. I learned about a feature that we didn't use this year but look forward to incorporating it into next years tournament.

Inconvénients :

I don't have anything to compare this platform to, so I don't have anything that I didn't like about it! :)

Avantages :

Tracking our registered sponsors and golfers is much easier with GolfStatus than it was without the platform. And the customer service (with [sensitive content hidden]!) has been excellent.

Inconvénients :

There have been some minor things like reports I wish I could export, but nothing a VLOOKUP can't fix.

Commentaires : We will continue to use GolfStatus for our events moving forward and I look forward to any expanded features they add.

Avantages :

GolfStatus provides a platform to make event management seamless. We've hosted our last two golf tournaments with a field of 144 golfers and numerous sponsors flawlessly because of GolfStatus. Registration is handled and having the contact information for all your users is helpful for pushing announcements and any follow up needed. The mobile app for in tournament is a great feature to keep up with the leaderboard and provides a great way to sell sponsorships since they are highlighted throughout the app. [sensitive content hidden] has been a huge resource from a customer service perspective to help when I am unable to handle things on my own or needs to be done quickly.

Inconvénients :

Some of the customizable features are challenging to navigate on the users end but having [sensitive content hidden] to help where needed makes it a null point for us.

Commentaires : My experience with GolfStatus was positive. I am happy that I found this product, and the fact it is free for non-profits makes it even better. Our goal is to fundraise as much as possible and having this option helps us put more into our healthcare system. Every person I worked with for the implementation of GolfStatus were great: [sensitive content hidden]

Avantages :

-GolfStatus was easy to learn and to use. -Was excited to hear that this was free for non-profits to use with the sale of the technology sponsorship. -Loved that it was golf-based vs other fundraising software. It was easy to understand for our attendees.

-Would like to be able to put a photo in on a form, i.e. selling t-shirts, company merchandise, etc.

Amazing, easy to use software for Non-profits and charities planning a fundraising golf tournament.

Commentaires : This tool was easy to use, provided so many integrated functions and looked very professional. I would recommend anyone planning a golf tournament to use GolfStatus. The program and the staff were amazing!

Avantages :

GolfStatus is an excellent program to assist novice golfers and novice event planners to create successful golf tournaments. I am not a golfer at all and I found this software very easy to use, functional and a one-stop management program for our 1st golf tournament.

Inconvénients :

There were a few features that were a bit tricky to navigate at first. (Registering golfers on their behalf, connecting sponsors with designated sponsorship level). I contacted our rep and he assisted us by giving details and tutorials for the task and all in a very timely manner. All of the issues that we may have had were rectified very quickly and other features that were tricky to navigate have all been fixed in the new version to be released in a month or so.

The best thing for me about Golf Status is the partnership and responsiveness of [sensitive content hidden], our representative. Over these last three tournaments, his partnership has been invaluable

Inconvénients :

We are a small all volunteer non profit so continuing to maintain low fees is critical to us. Sizing logos has been a challenge for some of our sponsors but [sensitive content hidden] comes to the rescue within minutes of a request from me. And I understand that feature will be improved with the new version.

Avantages :

GolfStatus makes it extremely easy to register players and foursomes for our event. The ability to collect payment via credit card at the time of registration makes the process easy and stress free.

I honestly have no complaints about GolfStatus!

Best Product on the Market

Avantages :

I've used GolfStatus for four years. Tremendous customer service whenever needed. (and I've needed it!) Very easy to use in every step of the process. Our tournament is huge, with so many moving parts. GolfStatus has the features to handle all areas. I'm retiring this year, and will insist that my successor continue to use GolfStatus.

Inconvénients :

Nothing comes to mind at this time. Big fan!

Commentaires : I would highly recommend using GolfStatus for your Golf Tournament.

Avantages :

Using this system saved a great deal of time on our end for items staff usually would need to do. Site is relatively easy to use and Customer Support is wonderful!The ability to be able to do a chat with Customer Support folks at any time was invaluable. The Support folks do a terrific job!!I used the Beta 2.0 Version this year and saw that some of the assigning of individual golfers items had been improved.Great improvement on the ability to add Sponsorship logos and resizing.

Inconvénients :

Really don't have a Con. Continued improvement of assigning individual golfers to teams with Beta 2.0 will be great.
