Solve the leaves management!!

Commentaires : We have been using it for one and a half months and it is been amazing so far, it really solved us the leaves management, people working remotely can use it without any problem and also the dashboard is easy to see. what was our main problem was after someone within the office took some vacations days did not know then how many days he/she has left (we were using Semesterlistan, a Swedish company)

Avantages :

What we really like about this software is its usability, user frinedly and is is integrated with Slack, our non-offical communication channel.

Inconvénients :

Might be good an app and also if we can count extra working days

Avantages :

It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles like other vacation tracking/HR software so you pay for what you really need. Love the customer service!

Inconvénients :

Initial set up is easy but it would be even better if there was an automated flow to the set up instead of me picking and choosing the areas to set up. It would be great to customize even further - being able to upload our company policy on the platform would be great. The ability to pick different times and not be restricted to a full or half day would be good too. Sometimes people want to sign off a couple of hours early but you can't indicate that on here.

Commentaires : I wish it had more options for customizing messages to users when submitting leave. It is easy for users to submit and cancel leave. It is limited on intuitiveness for time accrual.

Avantages :

Easy to set up and use. Integrates well with Teams. Does not take much training for employees to use. Customize leave types, assign roles, designate rules for different locations. Pricing is more flexible for small businesses that have a varying number of users.

Inconvénients :

Limited functionality. Employees can either take off full days or half days, they cannot designate exact hours. No accrual tracking based upon hours worked. No option for a custom message for employees to read and agree to and no option for employees to designate a cover person.

Vacation Tracker is decent, but could be much better.

Avantages :

I like that it's way more convenient than using spreadsheets to keep track of people's days off.

Inconvénients :

Creating teams/departments is a bit complicated. Also, it lacks flexibility - it doesn't matter when an employee has started, the app doesn't calculate the actual vacation days. E.g. if someone starts in September, they shouldn't have the same amount of paid days off as employees who've started in January.

Commentaires : Our overall experience with Vacation Tracker is great. The team is daily informed about each others absence.

Avantages :

It's synchronized with Slack and keeps our team organized and up to date on upcoming leaves. It's simple and easy to use, it enable us to successfully manage our time off.

Inconvénients :

There are no significant cons, except the functionalities which could be improved. We're missing basic features , like editing previously accpeted or made absences. Also, it would be good to have role like manager, that would manage people, instead of giving admin access to enable specific managing permissions. Competitive companies created much more functional softwares in this department.

Great Customer Service!

Commentaires : I've been very happy with Vacation Tracker. IT beats using a spreadsheet for PTO and the CS team has always been supe responsive and super helpful!

Avantages :

I like the ease of use, and how easy it is to get help when something is going wrong!

Inconvénients :

No Cons so far. It wasn't syncing with my connected product Slack, but that's been fixed

Great product, easy to use

Commentaires : Vacation tracker enables our team to manage the entire time-off requisition and tracking process remotely. The dashboards are very convenient for managerial and payroll staff to see at a glance the resource staffing in calendar format. Highly recommend.

Avantages :

It is very easy to use, and created with the user in mind. Receiving the reminders weekly (of who have planned time off), and the calendar aspect of the dashboard makes the resource management very convenient.

Inconvénients :

nothing really. The development team have been very helpful in adjusting my concerns as they came up, and the software is very (non-tech) user friendly.

I really respect this product

Avantages :

This may be the first unprompted review I have ever left. I googled and found this solutions swiftly. It solved a very simple but complex global vacation and national leave challenge we had that has been crucial to our culture. Managed everything through the UX. Just generally a happy and impressed customer

Inconvénients :

It would have been mildly helpful if it could have imported more international vacation days by region, or even ranked them In terms of adoption

Avantages :

We've been using VacationTracker for a couple of months now and we're really happy with it!

Inconvénients :

Honestly, tracking vacations, sick leaves and remote days for 200 people became a pretty bothersome process at one point, and all of the other HR tools looked super unorganized and had features we saw no use for. But once we integrated VacationTracker, the whole hassle of requesting and approving days off became a streamlined process that ran on autopilot. That is such a relief!

Great Customer Service

Commentaires : The set up has been easy and the customer support spot on. Shyla has been amazing with her responses, patience and helpfulness to even the smallest question.

Avantages :

That we are able to track our vacation and time off requests from all over the world, in Slack easily. The setup is also pretty straightforward and easy to understand and implement.

Inconvénients :

So far there is nothing that I don't like

Commentaires : Our overall experience with Vacation Tracker has been great. It’s easy to use and our entire team loves it. I would definitely recommend Vacation Tracker to all teams out there, especially startups and small businesses looking for a simple tool without a bunch of unnecessary bells and whistles.

Avantages :

It’s really easy to use, it took our team a week to get used to it. We love the Slack integration and the notifications, they keep our whole team up to date on upcoming leaves. We also really like how you can organize your company into teams with their own notifications and calendar feeds since our team has multiple offices across the world.

Inconvénients :

The only thing we’d like to see added to Vacation Tracker is the ability to block our team from being able to request leaves on certain dates. We sometimes have critical deadlines and we don’t allow people to take time off right before the deadlines. It takes us some time to manage this manually so it would be neat to have a feature allowing us to do this automatically.

Commentaires : I've been very happy with it and the wider team has had no issues adapting it. It offers great visibility and accountability for leave taken. They are always updating it and the support has been very responsive.

Avantages :

Vacation Tracker has excellent integration with Slack and Google Calendar, with most leave requests and approvals done through Slack. The support team is extremely responsive and has been able to quickly solve any questions or issues we had with the app. The app itself is very easy to navigate and mostly self-explanatory. The leave policies, locations and approval flow are quite customisable and extremely user friendly. The leave accrual functionality has been a fantastic addition, and allowances can be adjusted by individual.

Inconvénients :

Could us more flexibility in leave policies, for example ability to submit requests retroactively

Best implementation of this year for our company!

Commentaires : We LOVE Vacation Tracker. We went from a single person tracking PTO on a spreadsheet to a completely transparent, user friendly portal. My employees were constantly asking how many days they had left and we were using paper request and payroll forms. Changes were a huge hassle. Now, they can send a chat message to request days off, see how many days they have left and can make adjustments easily. Any request are sent to managers in a chat and they can approve/deny instantly and payroll can easily access weekly reports to stay up to date. It seems like a simple thing, PTO tracking, but when it's done well like this, the experience for the entire company is so much better!

Avantages :

Completely paperless, easy to set up and get implemented. Employees love having visibility to their PTO and easily requesting PTO. Customer support is AMAZING!

Inconvénients :

We have a graduated yearly accrual (the longer you are here, the more days you earn) and it isn't quite set up for that yet so we update annually on anniversary dates. I wish the calendar integrated into the Teams calendar.

A great tool that you can very easily integrate into your organisation to solve a painful problem

Commentaires : A really nice tool that is simple and tracks something that would otherwise be a big pain to track. One of th better Slack applications.

Avantages :

It is easy to use and setup. It is also extremely easy to apply for leave and to check how much you have left. Everything is tracked. It is also great that it is announced who is on leave, so that people understand this.

Inconvénients :

The only real thing I didn't like was that you cannot retrospectively add in leave, once you take the leave without tracking it in Vacation tracker, you can't put it in again. Customer support assured me that this would be the case in the future though.

Avantages :

The vacation tracker is easy for the people to input their vacation days.

Inconvénients :

Not able to automatically add sick days and have them counted.

The feature you mentioned was previously requested and released this week. You are now able to allow/prevent users from taking more than the allowed amount of each leave type. Ease of use, the fact that it is connected with SLACK

Inconvénients :

Not having the feature to block out dates and not being able to flex time in small chunks like 1 hour at a time

Great app

Commentaires : We’re super happy with the app, as it has made leave monitoring super easy, and everyone is aware of planned vacations on time which makes things a lot easier.

Avantages :

It really helps monitor absences across multiple locations + really easy to use! Slack bot is by far our most used feature, as it makes booking leaves super fast.

Inconvénients :

No complaints! Their customer support is great, and they respond quickly to any inquiries we have.

A great and affordable product

Avantages :

We use mostly Vacation Tracker to track our leaves. It has been doing the job perfectly and the onboarding as been very easy. Notably, the support is excellent and has provided excellent solutions to help us implement the solution.

Inconvénients :

We initially started with the Google Integration, realizing later that the Slack integration was better for us. Unfortunately there is no simple way to to switch from one integration to another which resulted into deleting our account and recreating it using the Slack integration. This also meant importing again all our employees and leaves.

Flexible and Customizable

Commentaires : The ease of implementation combined with the EXCELLENT customer service makes Vacation Tracker the ideal system for a small to medium-sized organization.

Avantages :

Ease of implementing the software. The integration with Google is key for us.

Inconvénients :

No accrual system. We have to go back in and manually upgrade each employees vacation each year.
