Commentaires : Superb support and reaction time for problems. I have never experienced such a great attitude towards users from support people.

Avantages :

Flexibility, ease of use, integrated payment options, broad scope that can be used to make all our activities, rental products, tickets, etc. products available for online booking

Inconvénients :

Rentle is still under development so there are many things missing but all the essentials are there to make the business roll. Rentle is developing new features in a rapid phase so the features missing now, might be there tomorrow.

Commentaires : It's a great platform that makes renting items easy to do for businesses. I would love to have credit card on file added, and to be able to negotiate rates.

Avantages :

Ease of use Clean interface Inventory and booking options

Inconvénients :

Cost per transaction could be lower. I would rather pay a flat rate, vs paying a % per order. I would ideally like to have the ordering processing fees to be sub 4% for stripe and rentle combined, and will explore alternate payment options to see if there is a way we can get there. Paying close to $600 per 10k in sales is too much.

Unfortunately, we cannot lower our commission fees, as only a part of it goes towards our development and maintenance, while the rest goes to the payment processor. As your business is scaling up, it might be beneficial to switch to another plan — the difference in transaction rates oftentimes covers the price increase — for example BUILD would bring your commissions to a sub-4% level (+$0.30 per transaction). Helped us get started, but not a long term solution

Commentaires : Fast to get started. Great to be able to get basic functionality online in less than a day. Support has been good. But ultimately lack or pricing flexibility, payment provider limitations and costs. and inventory management limitations make this a short term solution for us.

Avantages :

Fast to set up and use. Low learning curve. Works well for what it is.

Inconvénients :

Extremely limited pricing capabilities. Can't set different prices for different times of year or day.of week. This has cost us thousands in lost revenue. Can't take a boat out of service for scheduled time (routine maintenance). Boat is either in service or out of service and Can't for example take it out of inventory for Tue and Wed without blocking it for the entire future. Have to resort to work arounds like fake bookings. Rentle adds an additional surcharge on top of Stripe fees, which are already high. Can't select my own payment processor. Reporting is extremely limited.

Saves a fortune on web developer fees!!

Commentaires : We now have a really smart looking online booking system, which is really easy to change and edit, and has lead to a lot of our customers booking online who might have otherwise booked with a competitor.

Avantages :

We found it really easy and straightforward to set up and customize. We had toyed with the idea of getting a web design company to build a booking system for our website, but decided it wouldn't be worth the cost. We then found Rentle which seems to be custom made for the hire industry, and found it very straight forward. Setting up the listings for each product takes a minute or two, and other customisation features are also very straight forward.

Inconvénients :

They are currently working on putting in more customisation features like background colour, which is something we would be very interested as we would like to make our store more like our website in terms of colour themes. We were also disappointed with not having telephone support, but as they are in a different time zone to a lot of their customers, I can see why its impractical. They do answer the messages and emails within an hour or two though, and can generally give you a full answer without the need for a load of back and forth.

Straight forward tool and highly supportive team at Rentle!

Avantages :

Product is very easy to use, support is always on hand from the team/support chat function and customers love it!

Inconvénients :

To be able to extend/add products to a booking and send payment request to customer who has already made a booking would be a beneficial feature!

Local Lego Set Hire goes nationwide

Commentaires : Great, and we've had the first nationwide rentals without a processing issue and I hope this helps boost the business further.

Avantages :

The support has been invaluable. Setting everything up as a novice is not easy adding 67 sets and some in multiples. There are lots of settings needed, and support helped me to find the right methods of offering my services.Now my business has started, I will be contacting support again to ask for tips and tricks to make the most out of this system.

Inconvénients :

The hire store does not have a search bar, so poeple can't simply search for their preferred Lego Hire set, they have to scroll through all.

Very modern and easy to use

Avantages :

Everything works as it should! The interface is very easy to use, totally intuitive for customers. It was very fast to get our catalog up and running.

Inconvénients :

A couple of missing features are the ability to add custom fields to items, and charging for add-ons or rental extensions through Stripe.

Commentaires : Overall I am satisfied and as the business grows I hope more features are added.

Avantages :

The main reason I choose Rentle over a different platform was for the booking feature. I needed a calendar that syncs with 2 different rental products.

Inconvénients :

I really do wish the online store had way more customizations to make it look more polished. I was advised to embed Rentle into a 3rd party online store platform to get more custom features that I need. At this time I am trying to keep costs low so I will deal with the lack of customizations for now. Adding simple things like, better home page layouts, adding pages for FAQs, email collection for site visitors, etc. Also at this time, I have no information on site visitors, traffic, SEO, ETC.

Commentaires : Overall I'm very happy with Rentle. I love using is, it's very easy. That's also the reason I'm willing to pay the more expensive subscription, because I can't think of doing my job without it.

Avantages :

I started with Rental when they had a very cheap subscription, so it was the best tool for the buck. It is very slick in looks and is very easy to use. In a couple of minutes I managed to create my first products and could publish the online shop on my WordPress website. When I had questions, I got a really fast response of the support team. I even had 2 videomeetings with them, so they are really into giving good support.

Inconvénients :

I still miss the ability to create packages with multiple devices of the same product. This moment you can create packages, but with only 1 item of each product. I contacted the support team and they ensured that they were working on a revised packaging system. I'm really looking forward to that update. Second bummer was the update in subscription model. This made Rentle for me (as a very low user) way more expensive. For the options I need, I have to go to a higher tier. Luckily I get a 50% discount because of the low amount of rentals I register, but it's still a lot more expensive than it was. At the moment it sits in the same price range as other competitors and is cheaper than the expert tool Rentman which is made for companies as mine, but of course it has less possibilities than Rentman.

Commentaires : Absolutely fantastic product for a very reasonable price. Comes highly recommended.

Avantages :

My dayjob is as a systems development manager for a large PLC and I've never come across a piece of software that does inventory management, order management and dynamic delivery capability all in one solution.

Inconvénients :

I'd like more branding possibilities. As more people start using the software i think it becomes obvious that the website is built on a tool, that soon enough, everybody will start using.

Rental software on a budget. Good value for the options you get.

Avantages :

Easy of use and the price point was low enough to test the waters with the program.

Inconvénients :

The website builder seems really basic. You are not paying much for Rentle, but would be nice to build out a nicer website and not be so restricted.

Rentle the near perfect rental tool

Avantages :

With a great user interface, which matches our expectations and standards as a business. Rich in features simple to use. Great customer support. Always willing to listen to feedback and improve.

Inconvénients :

It doesn't offer built-in integration for follow-up emails please leave us a review etc. Which for us is essential and I am sure many others.

Own experience - bike rentals but in winter more rental activities to customers

Commentaires : Good software and development work is continuing so in future software is more diverse and give more possibilities to end users and to customers.
Customer service is perfect!

Avantages :

The base elements was already made and product (software) was ready to use when we started. Nice and clear operating system, App for users, automatic payments etc. This product is still under development and it is nice to be "involved partly to development brainstorming". If we have some ideas or needs for new functions to system, quite often we also get these.

Inconvénients :

We need more filters for functionality what is specified or focused to some special end users ---- like for skiing centers (shoe size, age of customer etc). We can easily live with these functions but these are extra for us. Of course for example skiing centers can have own opinions what is necessary for them and what is not.

Easy to use. Easy learning curve, good features

Commentaires : we have Rentle Advanced but we are in the learning and testing stage. What we noticed is that it will greatly reduce overselling and processes, to focus on the products and the customer. It will also reduce sales costs with the online store.

Avantages :

very intuitive for the user, simple interface, simple with very good UX. very good real time stock system that avoids overselling (rentals). bulk products and packages.

Inconvénients :

an integration with a local payment method would be required (Argentina and LATAM as Mercadopago)

Avantages :

The web interface is nice and reactive. The support is responding very quickly and is always helpful.

Inconvénients :

Change of pricing model just before summer was unexpected and is not viable for small seasonal businesses Issue reported on confirmation mail not being received --> no vision to debug or confirm the sending of mail in the interface. Sending the confirmation mail to admin for confirmation could be good Integration with word press is not optimal

Get up and running quickly

Avantages :

Rentle has a really well thought out suite of features at a competitive price

Inconvénients :

For large orgs that want to make rental management as frictionless as possible Rentle is excellent but for smaller orgs who are very hands on with every rental they may find Rentle's lack of moderation features (i.e. the ability to manually confirm rentals after staff review rather than have them automated) hard to work with.

a step up in my business offer

Commentaires : I registered with a trial profile last year, but only this spring I had the time to seriously implement the software. I took not too much time to understand how to organize the inventory and even less to set up all the product part. Now I began with the "grow" program, we had some rentals already and we wait for the peak season to see how it works

Avantages :

Easy interface, excellent customer care, fair price

Inconvénients :

not much personalization of the welcome page, some bugs in the software, absence of an app
