Commentaires : The VPN offers good security and fast speeds. However, users should be aware of the limitations of the free version and some concerns about privacy. We ended up changing our VPN provider because we're a bit paranoid.

Inconvénients :

The free version of Hotspot Shield VPN has limitations, such as a data limit, and users must upgrade to the paid version to access all features. Some VPN providers like Cyberghost allow you to test the software with all options. There have been some concerns about Hotspot Shield VPN's privacy practices, such as collecting user data, so I find it hard to trust them with my data.We sometimes had connection issues with Hotspot Shield VPN, such as frequent disconnections. We didn't have them that often with Cyberghost.

Hotspot Shield VPN - excellent value for the money

Commentaires : I purchased a lifetime license in the past before it became part of Pango. I find it to be excellent value for the money.

Avantages :

It is easy to setup and use. It runs fairly fast on most of the servers if you know what server to choose from the list and stick to it.

Inconvénients :

I sometimes run into cloudflare protection against DDOS attacks saying that from the ip address that I'm using "huge amount of traffic has been reported". I then have to switch to another server from the list an all returns to normal. I mostly run into this issue while selecting a server from US.

Avantages :

It is good that other countries connect to the internet ip address, this is the task of many countries. If you are a premium member, your internet speed will be very high.

the application sometimes does not work and your internet speed will be very slow if you are not a premium member

Commentaires : It has definitely made my life easier, by allowing my to bypass certain WiFi restrictions and access more websites to continue doing my work. It's very disheartening to use someone elses WiFi and can access the website that you want, but with HotSpot shield, this issue has become a thing of the past.

Avantages :

I've been using this software for almost 2 years now, and I love it. The deployment time is fast, functionality is easy and it hasn't let me down YET. Every time I turn it on, it always amazes me at how much easy it is, and for a price like that, it has been worth every penny.

Inconvénients :

My only issue with it is the sheer number,ber of AD's it pushes through whenever I turn on an app. And the fact that it would always automatically switch me back to its home page and play an AD before it takes me back to YouTube, is very annoying.

I like this VPN and I use it so much, the free version is good compared to other VPN applications. Also, I like that the speed of the internet is not affected too much and the servers that it connects to are great.

Inconvénients :

The paid version is a little bit expensive and there are a lot of advertisment in the mobile application that are so annoying.

It provides enough speed for most activities over proprietary Hydra protocol, however, speed can be well below most Wireguard VPNs. Hotspot Shield unblocks most streaming services including US Netflix, iPlayer, Prime Video, and Disney Plus; and also supports torrenting over P2P servers. It has server locations across 80 countries meaning that enough servers for geo-restricted content. The Hydra, IKEv2 protocol, Kill Switch, and standard AES-256 encryptions ensure privacy and security. Though it has a no-log policy, it does collect some data that can not be directly connected to your account. Auto Connect and Smart VPN features are available on Windows and some other platforms. However, these features are not consistent over different platforms and apps. Hotspot Shield provides helpful live chat supports when you encounter problems, but the support can be improved further.

Inconvénients :

The price of this VPN is at the high end compared to other VPNs while it lacks some advanced features that other VPNs offer.

Free and fast VPN solution

Avantages :

Hotspot Shield is one of the fastest VPN solution, I noticed little to no difference between browsing with and without VPN. User can user Hotspot Shield to access websites blocked by the ISP with minimal configuration. The installation project is quite simple, UI is also simple and very to use.

Inconvénients :

Since all the traffic flows through the application, users should be careful when using Hotspot Shield. Hotspot Shield should not be used when accessing mission-critical accounts/websites.

Commentaires : This app is best one for those who are not willing to purchase premium memberships, at least compared to other VPN apps!

Avantages :

- You will have a free 7 days premium membership trial, which is 100% true! - You can continue using the app after the trial period, even if you have not purchased the premium membership!

Inconvénients :

The regular membership (after finishing the trial period) is not that much (slow browsing, lots of disconnections, lots of ads, restriction on changing the location, and so on!)

Commentaires : I love it because I can listen to my music with other IP while I'm working, studying or doing other things in the same browser and I don't even make sure that my IP is from anywhere else but where I currently am. Just one tab, a couple of saved websites are in the list to be protected.

Avantages :

I can have it On mode for just a tab in the browser and It allows me to be unreachable for these pages that spamming you with publicity and some annoying ads. Also, you can choose where to be and see things restricted to just and only a certain local area, like documents, videos, and songs in media websites.

Inconvénients :

Almost you must turn On every time you close the browser or other applications and you open them again. It doesn't always on unless, it includes when you shut down your computer -for desktop version case- and later when you start it, you must activate it manually.

I am using Hotspot shield VPN from 1 year and found this is one of the top vpn. I liked Hotspot shield because it provides very specific locations of a country. Like in US only it provides 15+ location that help me to get more accurate insight

What I like most about this software is that it allows me to easily access the content I want to watch in different countries without much hassle. It is easy to use it and does not require much of a tech knowledge, especially after it is downloaded on your computer. It is pretty reliable and works in most of the cases.

Inconvénients :

The only downside that I have so far experienced is something that is also common for its competitors: issue of reliability. There is also the risk that the software cannot provide access even if it is connected and everything is as should be or disconnects or stops working when you change a tab and/or go to another webpage.

A great VPN service

Commentaires : Overall, Nord VPN is a pretty decent VPN service. It offers great speed for a competitive price.

The app offers a great variety of countries and servers to connect to. It offers a 7-day free trial period, so you decide if you really want to subscribe. It allows me to bypass geographical restrictions to access some websites in the United States. The speed is very decent and it doesn't slow down your internet.

Inconvénients :

The main disadvantage of this VPN is that it is not compatible with Netflix and other streaming services. It sometimes disconnects and then reconnects randomly.

It is one of the best free VPNs. It provides good coverage and even better speeds. I have found that for myself this is the fasted VPN that is free of charge. It is also very user freindly.

Inconvénients :

I do not feel one hundred percent safe giving my data to hotspot shield. They have had data breaches before along with the fact they most likely sell data.

Commentaires : I've been using Hotspot Shield almost for 3 months now, the monthly pricing so affordable, even for college students like me. Definitely helped me do protect my daily internet activity, helped me a lot to browse Reddit since it's blocked in my country. I use this app on PC and Android without any problem.

Avantages :

The clean user interface, I like it a lot, especially on Android. Wide range of servers users can choose from. Gaming compatibility with low ping and it's cheap, even students can afford this.

Inconvénients :

The free/trial version needs some rework, because the last time I use it on the free version, the servers always led me to Middle east countries like Iran, and all the google results becoming Arabic. Sometimes the Cloudflare always asking me for Captcha because Cloudflare reports that I have a huge amount of traffic issues coming from my IP.
